Toya was absolutely amazing made me and my friends feel very welcome!

Had an early midweek family meal here with my seriously ill four year old niece and other kids in the family. I was really impressed. The food was fine, the cocktails were great, and the staff were beyond fabulous. The photo booth is really fun, and they were able to start nine of us without a second thought. Thanks guys!

Rated food 5/5 as N/A for my visit. The service in the function room was not great as only 1 person on the bar, he was working as hard as possible not his fault but for demand of a function not acceptable to only have 1 person. The atmosphere when you walk in was shocking a lot of people in there who made the visit uncomfortable even bar staff asking you to watch your drinks because of people around you. It was a private event and I had to tell the bouncer 3 times that there was people not meant to be there who had got in. I felt uncomfortable and not safe. There was no checking of ID so seemed a lot of underage people inside the venue. Would not recommend for an event due to lack of staff and bounced allowing anyone entry. The staff were lovely which was great but bouncers not doing their job properly was not acceptable. I will not be returning.

My servers were Conner and Dan, they were great. Even though it was 8PM the brunch was great and the drinks kept coming. Thanks!

Booked the Slug and Lettuce function room in Didsbury for a 60th birthday, there was lot of communication prior to to the booking, asking what our requirements were ie how we wanted the room setting up, music requests and if we wanted a buffet, but on arrival the room wasn’t set up as required all tables and chairs left out and no dance floor, we were playing our own music but there was no cable to connect to their sound system, and bar wasn’t open as requested at 7.30 and the final nail in the coffin was the buffet, it was £16 per head and the quantity and quality of the food was a disgusting, food for 30 people fitted on a table 6foot x 3 foot all for £480 it was shameful, I have complained but was offered a £30 voucher to spend at the pub, what a shambles, please think twice before using this place for your party.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! I celebrated my friend's birthday here, and everything was absolutely fantastic. The ambiance was perfect, setting the mood for a special occasion. The staff were outstanding — they were not only caring and attentive but also so enthusiastic, which really added to the experience. It’s clear they truly care about their guests. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great time!

To the lad who serves the tables who walks on his tip toes and is proper camp take your attitude elsewhere mate it isn’t a good look, the cheesy garlic bread is horrendous and the salt and pepper chips are just cold chips there’s nothing salt or pepper about them. 2 for 1 cocktail deal is there for a reason it takes twice as long one as it does to get two in any other bar it’s a joke Don’t bother

Came here for an occasion upstairs and found the bar tender rude charged extra for a splash of lemonade instead of tonic. Everyone we came with also agreed that he was rude too not sure what his problem was but wow he shouldn’t have a job there if he doesn’t like working along side the public. Food was awful too we got the platter and was hard and cold when arrived. Will never return here and it’s a shame as we usually like slug and lettuce

Me and 8 friends went for bottomless brunch and the service started off slow with only 1 drink and no food ordered in the first half an hour. Our food order was also mixed up so some had to eat what they didn’t order. However, our server was changed to Kallum and he was the best. So funny and attentive, we managed to then have lots of drinks ordered and had such a good time by the end of it thanks to him. He sorted out everything for us and was great.

Abi was rushed off her feet as it was so busy, was asked to come in 2 hours before her shift and she was so good to us. What’s also lovely is she recognised us as we have been here prior. Because it was so busy we had a longer wait for our drinks, so she got another order in earlier so we we able to make the most of the drinks. She needs a pay rise !!

The service from our waiter Kane was really great and he was very attentive making sure our drinks were well topped up. The food was nothing to shout about but we had a lovely afternoon all in all.

Food was missing a lot of the ingredients listed in the menu and wasn't worth the cost. There were two events on whilst we were there so I understand it might have been busier. Also got told that one of the sides I wanted was not available, however, I later checked the app and it was there to order? To top things off the waitress on the day (01.12.24) was very unfriendly and to be frank could do with some training in customer service. She missed off items to a Uber delivery driver and had to be told by a more senior member of staff, then left the driver standing there without any explanation. It's a shame because the last time we went the service was lovely and the food reflected the menu. I welcome the generic response that will follow.

I got the chicken fajita pasta for roughly £13 and it wasn’t worth it. Very average food and not worth the money, lovely people though.

A lovely quiet afternoon tea. Nice chilled music in the background, great food and plenty of it, topped off with great service from Abi, and even 2 for 1 cocktails!

Lugar muy amable y buena comida. Tijana hizo sonar nuestras comidas, pero luego descubrió que podríamos conseguir los tres en una oferta de almuerzo por £ 6 menos y conseguir un refresco extra cada uno. Gracias también a Matt que preparó nuestros sabrosos traseros de pescado.

My friend and i came for bottomless brunch before our 40th birthday party and got the best service from Kane. Even though he appeared to be serving a few tables we were not forgotten about and received very fast friendly service.

Went there for Afternoon Tea with alcohol. it was a very basic offering. Sandwiches were dry as they didn't have any butter, mayo, or dressing added. Bread was dry and didn't seem fresh. We didn't think it was good value. Would be nice to see a better variety of food. There were very few customers for a Sunday afternoon. Which didn't help with the vibe, unfortunately.

Connor awkward regarding a table number for a function were one person is drinking tea joke of procedure and I use to work gir stonegate pubs

We came for a country atmosphere experience bottomless brunch. Massive shout out to Kane our main bartender who gave us an amazing experience. However we had to keep requesting the country music as this easily changed. We had a lack of interest from one of the bartenders. Who we quickly felt had a dis- interest from country. An experience that was sold but was not truly invested! Such a shame!

Great little place to meet & a nice upstairs room for a small party. Staff are very nice & pleasant. All in all , it's a very nice place for a drink. I didn't have any food as I had eaten earlier.

We went for starters, sides and a sharing platter for 2. The sharing platter had a lot of dip but not enough bread. When we asked for another pitta bread, we were told it would be £10. Complete joke. The service was unfriendly to say the least.

Ordered the dips and flatbread to share. Dips were awful and there wasn't enough bread for the dips so tried to order another flatbread. The charge for an extra flatbread was £10.45!!!!! Ridiculous! Decided not to order extra bread or anything else. Also very odd staff. One who looked like a wet weekend and another who definitely needed to wash his hair as it was very greasy and unkempt which was very off-putting. I won't be eating there again.

Last minute book for brunch. The food was surprisingly lacklustre - the breakfast was cold (minus hash browns that were hotter than the sun) and fries of the meal under cooked. However, our server Tiana has been amazing. Super friendly, attentive and excellent in her role. Thank you!!

Chose the katsu curry. Tricky to go wrong with a katsu, but the rice was dry, the tofu was dry and the sauce was so minimal that it couldn't really help out much! Really disappointing meal.

Harry was honestly so lovely and attentive. He explained the food and was able to tell us all the fun options. He always came over made sure we were ok and if we needed our top ups. We highly recommend Harry!!!
