Seems to cater to locals only. Stopped in off of a cruise. Asked for cider but was told it was out…asked for something else but was told cash only. Strange. Cruise passengers do yourselves and the local economy a favor and spend your money in one of the other great pubs in the area that appreciate it. Avoid this place…unless you’re local.

Walked in at 9pm, a a visitor for the ferry. Landlord immediately said ‘time to go’ Almost like I had the wrong colour skin. Insensitive illegal behaviour, that appears. A sad impression of Holyhead this does give.

Popped in for a couple of pints. Friendly and welcoming. Lovely owner too! A decent selection of spirits and various draft beers.

Late visit just before we got the sailing to Dublin. Really nice pub with traditional interior. Very friendly barman and advised us well on the ales. Friendly locals as well! Toilets spotless Pity we couldn't stay longer but we will definitely call again if we pass this way in the future.

Vimos el fútbol aquí con mi esposo. Lugar amable y fueron muy acogedores. Particular gracias a Ian que nos dio la cabina de su casa! Qué tipo agradable.

Had a really nice boat trip to the skerries today - we saw seals and a puffin. Really nice day for it, just a shame there wasn't a pub or something there.

Disappointing selection of beers on draught. Generic smooth flow something or other (Marston's? Can't remember). No Welsh brewery beers.

Last time we had fish & chips from here they were very nice but unfortunately tonight's were awful! The fish wasn't too bad but the cone of chips was diabolical, they looked like reheated leftovers & a very small portion indeed. Not good enough considering the price, I was very disappointed!

Nice cafe and patisserie. Lots off lovely cakes, including gluten free options (the lemon meringue pie was delicious). Some seating has views out to the Menai Strait and Snowdonia.

Usually food is acceptable today 10 November 2023 I ordered fish and chips and peas chips were good peas acceptable fish was horrible and under cooked batter ok 🎏 fish was hard especially middle part Caffe staff had no interest at all spoken to duty Manager Tom who told me that the store and Caffe are different identity and could not be bothered to do anything for customer satisfaction Very disappointed that Tesco has no appreciation for regular customer to be cared for. Will not eat there never again and I urge people to keep away and dine at Morrisons or Standing Stones nearby where you will get properly cooked food and your custom appreciated.

Stopped for a breakfast bap and a cuppa during a stroll around the town. Absolutely fantastic ! Sat outside with lovely views across to Snowdonia. Totally recommended
