Spotless cafe, polite service, I went for the slam breakfast. It was lush. Big portion also. Best in Porthcawl. And he's I've tried everywhere down there. This place is the best. Highly recommended

This place was absolutely shocking to eat with today, first of all they got the order wrong, then Made us pay extra for the food they braught us out, messed up most of the meals we had ordered, wouldnt not recvinens this place at all to anyone!

Yet another really good all day breakfast at a very competitive price. 2x sausages, 2 x back bacon rashers, 2 x fried eggs, black pudding, mushrooms, a hash brown, tinned tomatoes and/ or baked beans, toast and a cup of tea or coffee for £9! Excellent. Thank you.

Lovely cafe. Ordered a breakfast which came with 2x egg, 2 x bacon, 2 x sausage, hash brown, black pudding and 1 x round of charcoal.... I mean toast. Food was lovely, apart from the toast. I'm sure they would have done more if we had asked but when it's burnt, any cook worth their pay is going to recognise that and not serve it, in my opinion anyhow. Will go back as it was a lovely breakfast otherwise.

Nice friendly quiet place service is lovely not had any food but my mother and myself pop in now and again for a coffee.

Finally found a proper cafe serving a proper breakfast! Simple, no frills, honest grub!! Clean and tidy surroundings, friendly and polite service. Great value for money!!

Food was amazing, easily some of the best in Porthcawl, they even have a system to keep tables sanitised so you know your table is clean, make sure the get the Slam Breakfast if you're really hungry

Brilliant breakfast, probably the best in Porthcawl for its quantity, simplicity and value for money.. the fried bread was dripping fat, that's the only reason it's 4-star as I squeezed the bread and it dropped..

It was more like going to a friends home! Lovely atmosphere cozy fire and settees, I had a cup of coffee and cake. I would strongly recommend you go!

Was disappointed as advertised as dog friendly but you can't take dogs inside, only sit outside.. so to my mind it's not!

Cracking breakfast this morning. Lush natta with the owner too. We will be back

My bacon sandwich was great but my Mrs asked for crispy bacon on her breakfast and it was just rock hard and the coffee was weak but the staff were very nice and polite.

Nice little un-touristy caffi, a bit away from the main street. Plain food, but in a good way. Decent coffee. Recommended.

Family visit- visited twice. 4 stars due to price and potato tots instead of hash browns (love a hash brown). Nice staff and good service. Shame no parking.

Says they open at eight then open at nine they have an updated their opening times so very disappointed told the owner didn’t wanna know

Change online opening times . Turned up and it was closed . Waste of parking fee and fuel.

We a great experience and fantastic value for money breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful the food was piping hot and very well presented and the Cafe was spotless. We will be back!

Food here is great, friendly staff, friendly cook and up there with the warmest of welcomes. Great range of food on the menu and its just a stones throw from town. Pop in and try the menu and drinks and you too will be amazed at this lovely little cafe.

I had breakfast here, they were very accommodating with my requests. I had perfectly poached eggs with my breakfast and they were happy to swap the items I didn't like and offered me alternatives. Good selection of hot and cold drinks. It was a very clean spaciouse cafe. I will return. Thanks

Had the most amazing Sunday lunch here today, all fresh, piping hot and plenty of it. Gravy is stunning and very accommodating when I asked for more. Lovely friendly atmosphere will definitely return.

We visited this cafe 13feb 2020 and we ordered 3 breakfasts These were brought to table very quickly .The bacon was covered in black thick grease when I picked this up plate underneath was black ,the egg was not cooked properly hash brown was burnt fried bread was poorly cooked .the sausage was good and so was beans .We spoke to the person,s behind counter about this but they had no interest at all .I may add that prior to retirement we were for 20 plus years running a cafe not in this town .

We have had breakfast here on quite a number of occasions. Always cooked well. Piping hot. Best breakfast in Porthcawl. Excellent service. Tried everywhere else but this is tops!!

Mad busy at Porthcawl this morning due to the 10K race. Found this little cafe off the main street - delicious bacon rolls and coffee. Friendly and reasonable - glad it was too busy on the seafront!

Looking around came across this little cafe. Cheese toasty and a cup of tea and lovely friendly service.

Had breakfast here today was very nice all hot cooked well very friendly and helpful lady took order did not wait long we had latte as well witch was nice. I would give this 100% but there is no toilet on site. the helpful lady said the church has toilet so i went there its not far and no problems. would go back again but go toilet before going. price and food great thank you.

Good food but prices increased too much so we stopped going and found another cafe. Shame.

Passing whilst working in the area so decided to call in for a breakfast . Warm friendly staff , felt very welcome . Lovely breakfast arrived piping hot at my table , very impressed and will definitely return when next in the area .

Took my mum for a breakfast after many friends recommended the cafe.. when it comes to breakfast I’m not a fan of mushrooms eggs and black pudding .. the women said that’s no problem so I swapped for other things I preferred .. some cafes are not that easy when it come to swapping stuff on the breakfast.. when it came it was spot on.. bacon was thick which I think was the best part of the breakfast.. I only live around the corner so I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Called in for a bacon and egg roll. Lady very friendly . The prices are reasonable. The food was very good and freshly cooked. They also had home made pasties which I took home and were lovely. Will definitely go there again. I would like to say though that the door is weird and until you get close it looks closed so perhaps an OPEN sign on the door would help.

Really nice traditional cafe. Not quite sure which is better- the food or the staff. My favourite tea and toast stop in town.

We were a party of eight and had breakfast here on a busy Saturday morning (Elvis festival). We ordered food and hot drinks and, although we did have to wait a while, it was worth it. Staff apologised about the slight delay and served all eight of us together.

Lovely clean cafe, helpful staff and great value for money. The regular breakfast is massive and only £6.50. Great selection of food. Will definately be back.
