Had brunch today, nice food, friendly staff, comfortable surroundings, dog friendly

Excellent food and service my granddaughter is celiac and impressive choice of dishes on the menu. Good value for money. Will visit again.

Food is amazing every time. Very consistent and tasty meals!

Where to start. Had an amazing meal here, the food was perfectly cooked, the garlic ciabbata was rich in flavours and crunchy just the way it should be. The steak frites were cooked to perfection, juicy and lean. The churros with cinnamon were a perfect ending to an already delicious meal. Beers were good and the atmosphere was great. Staff were lovely, quick and efficient. Waiting times for food were short and timely. Toilets were clean and smelt alright, shame there were no baby changing facilities in the men's but there may have been one in the disabled toilet, which I didn't use. All around great experience and can't fault anything.

Just had to take the time to give a huge shout out for 3 staff who demonstrated a fantastic service during an incredibly busy evening 28/03/2024 . Chole, Tom and Tomo, 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏. Please note for anyone reading this, Chole, Tom and Tomo, were the only staff on duty serving front of house, which included drinks and meals. Thank you!

Lovely, cozy atmosphere. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Huge menu with something to suit everyone! Same! Hasn't changed! The staff are really helpful in this place.

I love this chain. The food is always wonderful. A good variety and good quality. The cocktails are really nice. This lounge could do with some of its seats being updated as some are a bit worn. A couple of the cocktails were out of stock today but in general normally a top place to go

Really chilled atmosphere/music and food was amazing - especially the tapas and veggie options. Has quite a few deals on after 5pm too. Would definitely recommend!

Another visit to the Corvo Lounge when in the area of Bridgend. The Corvo is the best in great service, dog friendly, Gluten free and main menu also children welcome. The bar and restaurant is nicely decorated. Staff are helpful when making food and drink orders. I ordered a Korean burger from the main menu and from the GF menu with chips and salad. Corvo Lounge is dog friendly and offered Lincoln sausages for our dog to enjoy. Will definitely revisit when next in the area. Thank You Corvo Lounge staff.

Food was really nicely portioned and very well cooked, my burger was initially brought out without cheese but was very quickly sorted out without any fuss. Catered well to my nut allergy and staff were very well mannered and very polite will definitely be back in the future xx

Dog friendly, and the food is lovely!

Amazing place, the food was excellent I chose their house burger with the fries, the bun was done to perfection (slightly chared on inside) the burger was juicy and well made/cooked the amount of salad ratio and sauce ratio was perfect. Thay have an EXCELLENT range of GLUTEN FREE and VEGAN food also which looked/tasted absolutely fantastic. We had a few beers/softdrinks with the food which were priced about right (just over £6.50 per pint) and the service was prompt with their staff being very pleasant. Their desert menu loooked good so will try a light lunhc and a dessert next time. Will definitely be coming here again as we live rather local to the town centre. (unsure of the theme of the place though)

Great service. Strange place not a pub not a restaurant and not a cafe. You can have beer with a full English cooked breakfast. So I guess its like being on holiday 🙃

My wife and I celebrated Valentine's Day 2024 at this restaurant, drawn by their extensive gluten-free offerings due to my severe gluten sensitivity. I opted for the Lounge Burger (gluten-free version), and it was a revelation—succulent and bursting with flavor. Although my wife's choice, the truffle chicken, didn't quite hit the mark for her, it was more about her newfound aversion to truffle than the dish itself. The pricing felt reasonable, though it might become a bit steep if we were to bring our children along. I'm earnestly rooting for this establishment to thrive and continue serving the Bridgend community. It's rare to find a place that so perfectly balances gluten-free dining with genuinely delicious cuisine.

Service and ambience are always great. But the food is gorgeous when it comes hot, but not so great when it’s Luke warm and that’s about half the time you visit this happens. Great staff tho 🙂

Popped in today for a coffee, served by Chloe. Staff are so friendly and the place is so warm and welcoming. I love coming here and the coffee is the best. Best atmosphere in Bridgend and amazing staff, thank you.

Great for meeting friends it's a relaxed venue that serves great food and drink in the centre of town. We especially loved the huge painting of Lenin.

Had a meal with a large group of friends on a Thursday evening in mid January. The atmosphere was pleasant and it was fairly busy for a week night. The food and service was excellent on this occasion but it is sometimes not as good.

Good, solid restaurant and bar. Nice and relaxed atmosphere, good quality and price for food and drinks, and allows dogs. Good place to meet friends for a drink or meal, and good place for families all times of the day and days of the week. Slightly up market version of Wetherspoons.

First time here but had a fabulous meal with friends. Being Gluten free I sometimes find it hard to get a decent meal but they have a fantastic menu. Will definitely be going again.

Found when looking for a dog friendly cafe in Bridgend and a menu that we will go back to explore when we want more than a snack. Food we had was fab

Very good all round. Relaxed atmosphere, pleasant staff, extensive menu choices and good value. I had 3 tapas dishes and glass of house wine for around £11 (early bird kind of deal). Food was great and wine OK too. Then had a light bite dish and a house soft drink, also excellent but too much food by that stage. Will go back again and try not to over order next time.

Not been for a year or two, although used to visit regularly. Popped in on Bank holiday Sunday afternoon. It was busy but not rushed. Stood at the bar . I was the only customer at the bar.and wasn't even acknowledged by the girl behind the bar.. Waited a few minutes and we left. Obviously at 54 in not hipster enough or my money cool enough. Never again One stat as couldn't put zero

Nice place normally. However, when you sit down, order drinks and be told we have to wait and hour before ordering food. We waited the hour to be told no more orders! And they served someone just before as and used the excuss "They were here before you". Ruined a birthday celebration, be wary if you go here 👍

Staff very pleasant, Amstells went down a treat, but the burger I had was very greasy. Toilets were clean.

Love this hidden gem. Cosy place with awesome decor. Friendly and efficient staff, and a great selection of food on offer, knocks spots off harvester! Been here a few times with my two children, who both love the burgers and bang bang chicken. One to visit again and again. Oh and as an added bonus, dog friendly too!

Great lounge, pretty much same as all the other lounges. Can be very busy and no able to reserve so be prepared to have to find somewhere else if they are full or come early.

First time here as was walking past, lovely little place nice atmosphere, my only criticism is my oat hot chocolate had no flavour even with hazelnut just tasted like warm water along with my stale teacake but apart from that lovely little place

Sometimes I like to sit in this place, eat tapas, drink craft beer and quietly contemplate whether drinking alone at midday on a Wednesday is a good place to be. Then sing Phil Collins to myself.

Good selection of beers. Food looked very appetising.

Place was Coldish, very bleak, which made the tea not hot. Toasted sandwich hardly any filling

Annoying, average, bland,.overcooked, barely warm unseasoned food... I did not realized it was so difficult to cook a proper English breakfast... The food is great. It's a little on the expensive side. Didn't wait long for food but there were only a few other tables. Drinks are very expensive. The lights are dim so you can eat/drink by candle light, very nice. If it wasn't pricey I'd give it 5 stars

Bit too rustic for me and not much atmosphere.We asked a member of staff to take a family pic of us and he said he was too busy.He was only picking up a few glasses and it wasn't busy there.Bit mean I thought.

They're online ordering system has been the best so far when it comes to ordering food as there's things that I do not like and could easily deselect them. Food arrived accurate to description and was wonderfully presented. Will be back again to enjoy another wonderful meal. Congrats to the servers that made my partner cocktails and myself for the Freshly squeezed orange juice. Thank you to the chef's who are hard at work on a busy Friday night.

Absolutely loved it here their food is amazing and tasty. They cater for people with allergies and if you're vegetarian or vegan. they're dog friendly and actually have biscuits for dogs as well. The staff are very friendly and hard working xxx
