Brilliant, fantastic with my son's intolerances. Great menu for gluten and dairy allergies. Mega impressed. Also, great beer and food too with friendly and polite staff.

6 of us stayed overnight. Rooms were more than adequate for our requirements. Spent 6 hours sampling the food and drinks on offer. Breakfast was amazing. Thoroughly recommended

As soon as we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Felt like I had known Lynn for years. Room was spotless. Food was gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious! Definitely be staying here again in the future

Lovely food, very reasonably priced and great allergen menu showing gluten and dairy free options, which are plentiful. Friendly and helpful staff with good service. Great location in the lovely village of Bradwell. Also good for a quick stop for drinks and chips after a long walk.

Very lovely and cozzy hotel, I had dinner here and it was cooked professionally, very delicious The staff were so helpful, kind and welcoming The room was good size, all facilities available I really felt home and the staff made me feel like 8m with my family

Room big enough for very very small people but 6ft4 and 5.ft7couple not very suitable couldn't sit on loo without having the door open , especially when we know they had much bigger bedrooms available, very very bad business, we will not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Visiting Bradwell, the Shoulder of Mutton was the best pub we discovered on our travels! Great food, quick service and a killer pint of Guinness all for a reasonable price. Bar staff were friendly and efficient. Would whole heartedly recommend!

We really enjoyed our meal at the shoulder of mutton. Excellent food. We are fairly regular here. Quite surprised to see someone openly vaping at the bar. I know it's not illegal, but very antisocial.

My wife and I both had the Beef Sunday Lunch the food was first class and is highly recommended. The staff were welcoming and friendly we will definitely be making a return visit.

Lovely place to stay - we stayed for just a night before a wedding elsewhere and the staff and breakfast were lovely! The room was roomy and the bathroom nice and clean! Would recommend :)

Lovely place to stay and staff were really nice. Some. Rooms have balconies which were so nice to set on during the evening/morning and look into the hills Food wasn't avaliable when we stayed so can't comment on that. Managed to get some breakfast just down the road though.

What a wonderful place. There were 8 of us plus a high chair, and they couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. All the staff are friendly, especially the land lady. The food is proper nice home cooked food, top quality and very reasonably priced. I can't recommend this place enough. Wish we lived nearer so could come more often.

Stayed at Eden Vale Campsite and had a pint or more most nights of my week long stay. The pub opened when it said it would and didn't close earlier than advertised, so it was worth the walk, unlike so many other pubs now! The beer was kept really well , to me, the most important selling point! Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about local things to do which was great. The locals were a great bunch too! Dog friendly as well! A top British pub! I will be back! Thank you!

The location is stunning. I had an early start and as breakfast doesn't start until 8.30 - I can't comment on food. I arrived to a closed pub at 4.30pm. Doesn't open until 5 so I didn't have long to wait but was desperate for the loo after a 4 hour drive!! Rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious and well kitted out. Can get noisy but they provide ear plugs

The landlord and landlady were very accommodating for two humans and a dog who despite being usually well behaved started barking at every other dog that came into the pub. Allowed us to enjoy our meals (which were excellent) in peace round the back and still gave us great service despite us being a bit of a handful. Much appreciated hospitality. Thank you again.

Great village pub. Had 3 guest ales on . We sat outside after a stunning morning walk around bradwell and surrounding area.

Nice pub, lovely welcoming bar staff. We arrived as a hungry party of six and although they were full in the resteraunt the staff kindly arranged another table to be set for us. The food was lovely, we had to send the steak back because it was well done rather than rare, but it was sorted out straight away so no problems there 😊

Retired female Travelling alone for first time and made welcome and safe by lovely owners. Highland room with balcony, comfortable bed and all needed for an overnight stay. Ate in their restaurant. Great food at very reasonable prices. Dogs welcome with owners, staying in their room.

Great pub a hidden gem in Bradwell

We stayed here for my birthday and the staff were all wonderful. Genuinely cared about and always greeted with smiles. The food was excellent, the room was really nice, the wait staff all looked like they thoroughly enjoyed working here. We will definitely be back when the buses are on their summer timetable!!

Fantastic service, welcoming hospitality in a lovely authentic pub. Food was prepared and cooked in house which was delightful.

Lovely pub and room for an overnight stay. However. Unfortunately I had zero sleep due to the paper thin walls and the room next door having the world snoring championships. In what should be the perfect location for a quiet getaway further soundproofing or at least some complimentary ear plugs are desperately needed. I heard every movement, conversation and toilet trip, and of course the thunderous snoring all through the night. Also, from the early hours the local church bells chime every 15 minutes! As nice as the room was, the pub, the food and the hosts and a lovely location, I can’t recommend it and would not return.

This hotel is situated among some lovely scenery, as we could see from our bedroom window. That is not what makes it special however, the hosts and staff were exceptional throughout and lovely to talk to as well. We asked for somewhere to chill the milk for our baby and by the time we arrived Lynne had bought a small fridge for the room. I hope we will return one day soon. Thanks again.
