The Ship in Brotton is one of the shrinking number of what are classed as traditional pubs. Walking in today is a bit like stepping back 20 years in time. A lot of the customers are of pensionable age.

Had a fast food delivery, the food was packed with flavour piping hot and arrived as stated. Delivery driver was polite and professional. I had a hot shot Parmo, which was delicious, although it is huge, you don’t need the chips. Excellent recommendation as it is well deserved.

12 Chaloner StreetI'm not impressed by the quality of food, I don't think produce was fresh. The taste just wasn't there. We paid over 50 GBP for two, but I was disappointed for what we go for that. I think they need to focus on fresh produce, a bit more seasoning and more attentive staff.

Mine came with no chicken just small amounts of curry sauce, with rice, 1poppadom and a small piece of naan bread.. my family have eaten and I'm sat waiting for another curry. We sat and waited in bar area, to no cutlery and we needed to ask for sauce as none was offered to us.
