The Ship in Brotton is one of the shrinking number of what are classed as traditional pubs. Walking in today is a bit like stepping back 20 years in time. A lot of the customers are of pensionable age.

17 Chaloner StreetRecently visited this little bistro The service was very good and the food was well presented and excellent,the only reason it's not 5 stars is the draught beer was off so I had to have a bottle and also asked for a glass of malbec off the menu and there wasn't any, but would definitely visit again, so if your thinking of visiting please do .

100 Normanby RoadHad a fast food delivery, the food was packed with flavour piping hot and arrived as stated. Delivery driver was polite and professional. I had a hot shot Parmo, which was delicious, although it is huge, you don’t need the chips. Excellent recommendation as it is well deserved.
