Terrible. Bought a whole crab last week for £13.50 and it was stale, didn't even smell of crab. The insides were dry and meat was dry. For safety we disposed of it. I went in today 1st March 24 as off work and told them about it. The guy said to me it may have been frozen. I said OK but it was inedible he said I should have brought it back! And I said you would have been closed and not here on a Sunday. Then we work all week cannot take a day off to bring back a rotten crab! I said what can you do, he said nothing unless you bring it back! So I was supposed to keep a rotten crab in the fridge untill I could get it back or take a day off! I doubt the freshness of the product from this stall. I have seen same crab (or seemed to be) out on display next day as pricing the same. They obviously put them back in the fridge end of day and put back out next day and so on, and I'm sure that is what happened to us. He didn't care, hence my review. I will never go there again. Terrible quality and after care.

Really lovely seafood & the lady that runs it is so helpful and friendly. I often pop in here to get goodies for my father in law when I’m in Plymouth and he’s always very happy!

Part of Shellfish Southwest who buy all their shellfish fresh locally and have a processing unit in Ivybridge (or maybe Plympton!). A few weeks ago they opened a new double stall unit in roughly the middle of the higher side of Plymouth pannier market. Run most days by a very friendly and informative couple. We have bought crab, some smoked mackerel pâté, and also some chowder and other sauces. Not noticeably cheap but certainly good value and all tasty and in first rate condition. Well worth coming back. We’ve seen them demonstrating and talking to schoolchildren. No harm I think in getting some more posters or catchy banners to bring the stall more brightly to notice. We occasionally use the fish market not far off built into the eastern wall just up from the car park exit but it generally seems sadly quiet. Perhaps the arrival of the unrelated shellfish stall not so far away may bring extra customers and enthusiasm for both businesses.

Disgusting! After waiting 50 minutes for food in an empty pub, it was the worst we've experienced anywhere in decades. Lasagne was a shrivelled piece of rubber, fish and chips saw the fish curled up in a semi circle, chicken shawarma looked like it was out of a pack from Tesco. Floor was sticky with puddles of water in corners from attempts to wash it. My poor elderly cousin only booked it because it was dog friendly and he was taking us there as a treat. He was mortified at how awful it was, and I feel bad at how ripped off he felt. Absolutely don't go for food!!!!

Madii was an excellent server. My favourite thing was that she spoke directly to my children rather than to us for them. And her hot chocolate was 😘🤌 My only critique was the option to give a card tip was not provided and we would have left one.
