Chopstix - Plymouth in Plymouth

Probably one of the worst places to eat that I've ever been. Food was bland, bearly lukewarm. All the empty tables were not cleaned from previous customers and staff couldn't even be bothered about it.

This is TWO times I have been given chicken instead of cauliflower, is it really that difficult?!

Staff were completely disinterested and very slow. The noodles smelt and tasted like cigarettes which was intensively disgusting. I have been to other chopstix restaurants over the uk which has been very good but this one is below bad.

Had completely the wrong order sent had my name on the receipt and my order but in the bag was a complete different order would never order again!

I went here this evening for a family deal and must have been served by the manager. He was absolutely wonderful! He went above and beyond and he didn't need too but I was absolutely grateful for the reasons why he went above and beyond. Thank you very much!

My wife and I ate at Chopsticks for the first time today and really enjoyed it. The food was tasty and the guy that served us was very friendly (Kev). He explained how it all worked to us. The atmosphere was comfortable with nice music at a good volume. We’d be happy to come back!

A Chopstix lunch is the best part of our trips to Plymouth. We get half noodles half fried rice and then a combination of caramel Chicken, katsu chicken, BBQ chicken, chicken curry and spring rolls to share. It is delicious every time, sticky, sweet and tender. All of the yum!

We placed an order at 5.40pm, it arrived at 8.25pm! After being told it would be delivered by 6.25pm. Food was tasty but never ordering again. We didnt even get an apology.

Some items were missing from the order. Which is a shame as my previous order had been flawless.

Collection was ready for 12:40 but when I went to collect it was not ready and had to wait 20 minutes

Everything was good but it would have been more ideal if my order had come with cutlery.

I have been to several chopsticks, and through my time at them, this is the best one. The chicken/sides are ALWAYS cooked to perfection. The noodles and rice sometimes are a little over done, but mostly good. The staff here are always really friendly, it's clean, well stocked. There's only two toilets which sucks but at least they are available. Great service, great food. I'd go here over McDonald's any day!

Food is cold, rice is solid so are the noodles, nothing is fresh, forgot part of the meal. Won’t be going there again

The staff we're so kind and accommodating, letting fussy children try food before choosing what to have, making more of something specifically for us, just being overall friendly. The service was great and the food was excellent! I would 100% visit again.

Aloha, it was my first time in Plymouth and at this store can I just say it was such a beautiful ambience, the team run like a family, big shoutout to Brad, Kevin and Mia, they talked me through the menu, made sure I was comfortable with my choices, I then brought my colleagues back because the food was so tasty and everyone was lovely, so excited to be back :)

Me and my partner bought 2 meals for ourselfs and when the food came it was luke warm the pots of chicken we ordered stated that they are large and when we opened them they was tiny we had 3 tony bits of chicken in each pot. Absolutely terrible considering the price we could of had a bigger meal takeaway from asda or tescos for half the price. If your going to advertise something as large then make it large not 3 pieces of chicken in a tiny pot. Total joke really and won't be ordering from there again.

Came in after a night out, perfect hangover cure. Food was fresh and tasty, and staff were lovely. A nice vibe inside to sit and eat!

Called in for the first time. Pretty good experience too. Went for the medium box, egg fried rice, sweet & sour chicken, cauliflower. Also had some spring rolls & a soft drink. Not disappointed. Staff were good too.

Just ordered from them for the first time. The portions are half the size of most places and the egg-fried rice was shockingly bad. It was so dried-out or old it was almost too hard to eat, just terrible.

Was good food but isn’t the one for me

App states order has been delivered but nothing has arrived. Currently £40 out of pocket without any food. House is covered in CCTV and clearly shows that no attempt has been made to deliver anything. Just eat need to watch out for the crooks that they’re employing.

The staff and food were lovely but i went in the day of the schedule protests/riots. I asked the staff if I was the last one to be served as everywhere else, including rival franchises had shut. To my horror i learned that they would not be shutting, as they had been told not to. The management have a lot to answer for putting profits over the safety of the staff.

Honestly the biggest waste of money, portions were very small, food was cold, dry and bland. The rice tasted like it had been reheated many times, noodles were soggy. Mini chicken balls were cheap chicken pop nuggets. Spring rolls were under cooked and chewy. The apple pie rolls were the only edible thing. Waste of £70 will never order again.

Staff are friendly, the service was quick and all in all the food was great. My favourite was the caramel drizzle chicken. All in all, it was an excellent meal!

Walked into chopsticks to find one employee on his phone. He didn’t even look up when I walked in, obviously doing his job wasn’t a priority.. a girl finally serve me I asked for Katsu curry we don’t have that…. Caramel chicken no we haven’t got any of that. Well it was 11 o’clock or so on a Saturday so lack of food choice and appalling service there is to be expected.?

The food was really good. The service from the two girls, Hope and Tiffany, was excellent. Very friendly and efficient.

ordered the big night in for £46.99 absolutely shocking that there was a small scoop of egg fried rice in the 4 tubs no where near the halfway line no way will I buy again 😑

Everything seems fine but not great - the major problem was the egg fried rice was beyond stone cold, dried out And clumped together - the highlight was the spring rolls - maybe specialise in these only?

Went in, spoke to Kev. He’s a sound guy, great worker, nice to talk to. If there were more people like Kev I’d be there daily.

Food was really nice, good size portions and reasonable price. We all left happy and full. The staff were friendly. We had to wait for one of the dishes to cook so we got a couple of complimentary drinks and table service thanks to Kevin 👍 we will definitely be returning

This was a little bit of a disappointment really. The food looked like it had been cooked over an hour before and not very fresh at all. The good side was the person serving made it a pleasant experience to navigate the very confusing signage. The egg noodles were dry/crisp, the prawns were held far too long, over coated and lacked sweet chilli flavour. Again the salt and pepper chicken was left hot holding too long and overdone/dry. There were a number of staff (3) milling about doing nothing, a laptop open, unattended and in the public area/view (very poor GDPR/data protection in force) and one memeber of the team, who appeared to be the senior person, was more interested in her phone. Not the visit/meal I was expecting for the money. Sorry, but won't be back 😔

The two girls working today at 5ish were super and handled a mad rush from a few delivery men and a group of 11 (including me, sorry guys) came in all at once. Aaliyh was an absolute star! She took her time with us Chopstix virgins and explained everything very clearly. Thank you both for a great experience!! 😊

Aaliyh was awesome even thou was getting grief from deliveroo drivers. Was 11 of us come in all at once for my birthday.

Absolutely love this place and use it regularly as my lunch spot while at work!

Haven't been here in a while. Had a medium noodles box. Noodles were a mix of fresh cooked and old ones that had been in the tin for ages. They were stodgy and hard to swallow. Young lady on the counter wouldn't let me have the fresh made salt and pepper chicken. She kept insisting she had to give me the 2 disgusting dried up bits from the last bowl before she can serve the fresh made. So much for customer satisfaction. She needs some lessons spring rolls were hardly warm. I will not be returning. This place has gone downhill big time

Love the food in here My top 3 toppings so far is 1.Caramel drizzle chicken 2.chicken katsu curry 3. Teriyaki beef

The food was not as described, in my opinion it was not very tasty and I am still hungry as I wasn’t able to eat it due to the taste. The prawn crackers and spring rolls were the only items I was able to finish.
