Been here a couple of times now to meet up with friends. The service is great, everyone is very friendly, even when they are busy it's faultless. The food is really good- arrives quickly, cooked perfectly, and generous portions. Although I've not had one, the cakes look amazing! Clearly a popular cafe and for good reason -highly recommend it.

I brought my Grandma here for her 91st birthday today and the team couldn’t have made it more special. We had a fabulous lunch that was really tasty and brilliant value. They were so welcoming and kind, and made such a fuss of my Grandma, with all the staff wishing her a happy birthday and greeting her like a friend. We were reserved the perfect table with a birthday balloon as well! I couldn’t be more grateful to the team and we will definitely be back. I can’t recommend The Shed highly enough! 😊❤️

Very nice place to go for breakfast

We visited on Sunday morning, staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Seems that booking is advisable as the place is quite small (it is a shed after all). Had the medium breakfast, which was spot on! Will certainly be visiting again.

Come here most weekends and food was great but came today and was very disappointed food was cold and tasteless bread was awful most people in there was complaining wouldn't go back

I go here a lot - nothing to complain about at all. Always friendly, amazing cakes and a great all day breakfast. I order the vege breakfast with 3 rashers of bacon and I'm happy.

Very warm welcome got there at 8:30 and it was empty but it soon filled up but a very nice cafe and the belly buster lives up to its name. The staff are very polite and very happy to help definately be going again

Great food, great service, great workers! I went on my lunch break which I wouldn’t do again it did take some time to be ready but it was super busy and the food was excellent so not a complaint.

Great food at great price, friendly and efficient staff

The breakfast are very small for the price. You get 2 slices of toast and a jug of beans so your plate looks full. Take them away and you’re left with just about enough food to make a sandwich. I asked for black pudding and it was about as thick as my bank card. Food was very well cooked but what you get for what they charge isn’t very good value. I had a cup of tea and black pudding on top of my small breakfast and it came to £13 for one sausage one bacon one egg a whole tin of beans. Black pudding I could see through it was that thin. So much better around

Popped in this morning on a recommendation from my uncle, what a lovely warm welcome, “Hello darling, take a seat and we’ll get you a menu”. Ordered a cooked breakfast “The Bellybuster” and it was bloomin’ lovely. Thank you all for a great brekky and a great welcome. This is how all cafes should be run. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visited again this August and yet again, the food is incredible.

Went for breakfast this morning, just by chance while waiting for our motorhome over the road. Well, what a little gem! The ladies and gentleman were so welcoming and the food was great. Even had bread pudding like my Mum used to make, fabulous! Will definitely be going back.

Very friendly place open at 08:00

Many sing their praises. Value for money and good full English. Not our experience at all. Food served very quickly. Fried egg underdone, the white was liquid. Sausage near to tastless. The overdone mushrooms, dry and chewy. Bacon okay, beans and tomatoes okay. Toast was delicious. An open door with a smoker just outside, sitting with a staff member wafting smell that shouldn't be. We won't go again.

Always a friendly welcome and a lovely breakfast cooked to order. Most seating is benches outside so wrap up warm on chilly days.

What a little gem, I knew it was here, just never tried it before. Very popular so can get busy, however it does open at 8am. Had a bacon baguette to go as was busy, it was huge. Plenty of people eating inside and out, and plates of food looked impressive. Prices as per 17/03/2024

Been going here since Butterly closed down. Staff are great, and I do mean that, but the food has been hit and miss, with a bit more miss than hit. I enjoy a cooked breakfast however I dont expect the sausages to be made of rubber and taste of tyres. Probably going to have to go back and eat McDonald’s breakfast. At least there I know I’m paying for food that tastes of rubber..

Lovely cooked breakfast freshly done friendly and pleasant staff in lovely surroundings

Visited around 9am on a Friday, just before a funeral. We had been on the road since half 6. The staff were so welcoming. We told them where we had to be and they assured us our food would be ready quickly so we would make it on time - it came freshly cooked and it was delicious. My dad had the belly buster, I had the normal fry up and the other two had bacon rolls. Coffee was lovely too. When leaving, they let us know the best route to the crem. Very friendly, attentive and the food was great. Lovely place! Thank you!

We popped in for a late breakfast / brunch to find the place heaving which is always a good sign. They reserved a table for us to pop back 20 minutes later. The food was cooked fresh to order and was really tasty. We were eyeing up the gorgeous looking cakes on the way in but the breakfasts were so filling that we couldn't manage anything more. Lovely friendly staff. We will be back to sample the cakes soon!

Venue No2 for Breakfast Club Last minute decision for January’s meet. Stuck a status on FB for a cafe recommendation and this cafe got the most comments. Had a little wait due to us not booking but surely that’s a good sign. It didn’t take us too long to be seated. We went for the Belly Buster and we wasn’t disappointed. You can never moan about too much on your plate But we were Definitely Full when we left. Fantastic Breakie. Lovely Staff. Breakfast Club hasn’t disappointed so far.

A smiley happy welcome from all the staff. I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped in as a customer. I had the best breakfast all hot and yummy. As normal nothing was a problem for the staff who were willing to go the extra mile and make my birthday a great day . Can’t wait to go back as a customer again . I won’t forget dessert next time , I was just too stuffed this time. But all the homemade baking looks to die for . Thank you again 👍👍

from the moment you walk into this café, which was my first time you were greeted with lots of smiles from the hard-working staff, We couldn’t get a seat when we went in, but they told us to come back in 20 minutes sat straight down and we went up and ordered a big breakfast. We was not disappointed. It was so lovely hot delicious you even get a big mug cup of tea everyone of staff were so busy, but even took the time out to come and ask how the food was I even took home some home-made cakes which were delicious. The shed is a great place to come and when I can will be visiting a lot. Well done staff 👏👏

The Shed Cafe was an unexpected delight! Food portions were amazing! Food quality was amazing! Great prices and friendly, warm and welcoming staff. Proper home cooked food! Plenty of seating inside and out. The place was very busy but the staff still brought our meals out to the table with a smile. I would recommend to everyone of all ages to have a visit for hot and cold food. *especially the cherry crumble! Which is to die for! Thank you very much!

Had a really good breakfast here on a Sunday. When I walked in i got treated like I was a regular all the staff were really friendly. The food was also delicious we got breakfast and it's what you'd expect for sure, I picked up my partner one of their home made cakes and she really loved it. We will be visiting again!

Proper job ! Absolutely great. Place was packed, (Friday 0930.), and so busy we had to wait outside with a coffee for 15 mins. Good value, great breakfast. We'll be back.

I visit this café regularly, either at the weekend with friends or as a stop over with the motorbike group ride outs. ohh and especially the morning of St Patricks day for pre drinking session belly buster, as lord knows I'm going to need it it never fails to impress, staff are great and friendly food is fantastic and the choice is spectacular. if you visit Northampton visit the Shed cafe, its well worth the visit.

I was recommended to try the Shed Cafe for brunch and I happened to be passing so I thought I would drop in. First impressions were good. It was a busy but clean and friendly environment. My breakfast including a cup of hot chocolate was over £15 so I was expecting something special. When my breakfast arrived, I was disappointed to see that the eggs were of poor quality and had very pale yellow yolks with no taste. Then on to the sausages which were cheapo catering sausages! The sort of sausages used in the cheapest of cafes that are basically breadcrumbs and fat and salt mixed together to form a very unappealing and tasteless belt filler. The best part of the breakfast by far was the hot chocolate which was very nice. Such a shame that you have most things correct here but just skimp on the ingredients and put profit before customer satisfaction. It didn’t help that the guy next to me was constantly talking on his phone to his ex cell mate discussing what they would do together when he eventually finished his sentence ( not your fault, I get that but off putting none the less). Parking here is ample, food arrived very quickly which tells me that it isn’t cooked fresh. Staff are warm and friendly. My poor score is mainly based on your very low quality ingredients with high prices. It’s not value for money. It’s premium breakfast pricing with budget ingredients. Well done on the hot chocolate though!

I went for the first time yesterday for breakfast, I have a lot of cooked breakfasts and I can honestly say it’s the best I’ve had! All staff are very welcoming and I went for the belly buster which was fantastic. I’ll definitely be going again.

Proper food served by lovely friendly people at a very decent price. The breakfast’s are superb, the pies delicious and crinkle cut chips too. Everything about The Shed is top notch with the added bonus of homemade cakes and I have tried most of them, that will be your most difficult decision, deciding which one to have. If the food wasn’t a good enough reason to visit then the friendly staff are the icing on the cake. It’s a gem of a place.

Came here with my 92 year old nan who's in a wheelchair and these lovely ladies did everything to help us get in and sat down at an easier to access table for my nan, they were wonderful with her and even let her choose her own custom breakfast, absolutely 10 star out of 5, thank you to the shed you made my nans whole week. She also absolutely loved the bread pudding, said its the best she's ever had.

Very good food and efficient service. Think only improvement would be to have order taken either at the table or have a separate queue. Sat at table and then when chose what we wanted had to wait in a long queue to order. Most people in front were getting takeaways
