Cafe Track in Northampton

Although I walk past here several times a week, this was my first visit inside, and I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and enthusiastic welcome. I had an early light lunch of a tuna and sweetcorn sandwich plus a coffee, at a very reasonable price. I will most certainly be making.a return visit.

Had an excellent vegan breakfast and a black Americano- all of the staff were friendly and helpful- not only was is good value for money the breakfast was very tasty too

The service was perfect as we walked in with a big group and the tables were moved to accommodate, the staff were very ready to help and take our orders and the food tasted great will definitely be coming again soon.

Came here for the first time today there is a little wait and we did get asked again if we had ordered any drinks but overall very good and friendly service

Small and quaint, situated on the main square. Two cooked breakfasts, sausage sandwich, orange juice and two pots of tea for just over £20: great value! Recommend

I visit cafe track when I go to Northampton. I am always welcomed. If you want to make friends vist this cafe and support the good work it does. Helping autistic people into work. Very nice coffee and a good menu freshly cooked food.

excellent service great food yet again

Lovely place to come and spend time, the staff are friendly and always up for a chat. Best cup of tea in town. Food is always lush and serves fast and friendly. Good value for money. Recommend the scones as made by hand by Sue Definitely need more places like this.

Cafe Track provided an array of stomach fillers in their characteristically friendly environment, ranging from sumptious cakes, crisps, scones with or without Cream & Jam depending on preference and a wide variety of sandwiches. Perfect to tuck into whilst catching up with some old friends whilst making new ones with Track's regular customers, Afternoon tea in this welcoming cafe really was a lovely experience; Tailored to your needs perfectly by the Track staff (Tom, Lauren and Alfie) & particularly manager Sharon. Would recommend to all, even if it is to be a rare treat

Came across this Cafe by chance. It was the most joyful lunch in a friendly happy atmosphere. Service was prompt by Jack, food was substantial & well prepared by Sharon. All the regular’s were greeted by name. Would definitely go there again when in Northampton

Small place with not much room. I took a lady in with a walker and virtually no room to move around. Very small shortbread square 2£ and a cup of tea £2 in the smallest cups I've ever seen. Lovely people that run it and work there tho

A lovely welcome. Fast efficient service a great pot of tea. Didn't eat but noticed other people's food which looked lovely. Not from Northampton but would definitely return. Was on my own but sat and listened as a great atmosphere and community

Cafe Track is a great place to get a drink or a bite to eat. It is also offering the chance for people on the Autistic spectrum to gain work experience in an environment suitable for them. For customers on the spectrum, Cafe Track helps by reducing the noise and also producing simple menus with photos for ease of choosing.

Lovely food and amazing staff that took the time to talk to us. Will be returning when we're back in Northampton

So pleased we visited Cafe Track yesterday, such a lovely cafe providing amazing work experience for those with autism. Wish we lived closer so we could support more but will definitely return when in Northampton. A little gem.

This cafe is run to help people with autism in the workplace. There is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. There food and drink is good value and the service is great. There are always regulars in there who chat to everyone and draw you in. The menu isn't extensive - sandwiches, jackets, breakfasts and cakes - but the quality is good. It is also lovely to support a local enterprise that does more than just make money.

During an unexpected stay in Northampton, Café Track became somewhat our rescue haven whether at breakfast or lunchtime. Sharon and her team made us feel so welcome and were all readily providing us with advice about the local amenities. Jack delighted us every day with his outstanding service and all staff members were friendly beyond expectations. Sharon took time to speak with every guest in the café, whether times were busy or quiet. The food and drinks were lovely but there were no expectations to order more if sitting for any length of time. Vegan and vegetarian options are available at no extra cost and literally everyone is welcome. This is what makes Café Track special: It’s not just a place to drink tea and coffee or enjoy delicious foods – it’s a place where every person matters and can enjoy the added ‘feel good’ factor whether they’re having a good or a bad day. Very welcomed and great value and service

Cannot go wrong in a busy market square

Visited for lunch had 2 all day breakfasts and 2 baguettes, plus tea, coffee and soft deinks. Great service from Lauren, Sharon and Tom. It got 5 stars from the members of our group that had come from Texas and were keen to visit the Cafe. Thanks Sharon, Tom and team for a great visit.

Very friendly very welcoming and food was lovely, our pup was even invited in, not from around the aria but I would definitely go back when I’m back in town five stars from us thank you x

Lovely little Café in the heart of the town centre, very welcoming team and delicious food. Also doing amazing work supporting autistic people to learn new skills and get into work.

The quality of the food and drinks here are great, and the service is always fantastic. It's also a great organisation and lovely for all the work they do.

Cafe Track is something very special. It offers a range of pleasant and unassuming dishes, all well cooked, served with a smile promptly and efficiently and priced very sensibly to make ofr an experience accessible to all. The extra dimension is the offering that this cafe makes to the spirit of the community - helping families with members on the autistic spectrum and offering work experience to those on the spectrum who seek opportunities that they might otherwise struggle to gain. The cafe is decorated in a manner appropriate to those who would like to have a little more attention paid to their environmental needs and the staff are kind, understanding and ready to welcome their customers.

Good food and drink at a reasonable price with friendly staff

I We were given a warm and friendly welcome. Good menu, reasonably priced. We plumped for the cooked breakfasts, we weren't waiting long and the food was delicious. Clean surroundings and good service.

Excellent pizza and the staff are friendly and very welcoming. Would come back again if I’m in the nearby.

Really helpful and amazing staff, the cafe is autism and Aspergers friendly which can make such a huge difference to people! The food was very traditional and tasty! Not a hue space but nice and cosy and perfect for the two of us to have a nice traditional breakfast and an afternoon tea! Would definitely recommend.

Any body who wants a cup of good coffee or tea this is the place to get it, very reasonable prices and also very good sandwiches and cakes,soon to start doing afternoon teas at a very good price.

Had a lovely lunch at cafe track in the square up town.. run and staffed by people with autism.. well.worth a quick sit down and a wee snack. And a lovely atmosphere.. they have a quiet area should you be visiting with someone who has the condition so they can have a time out to recover..

Perfect for a Pizza party.... We held a party for 30 young people here. Location is great and the quiet area for those that needed it was an added bonus. Quality of the food and service from start to finish was excellent. Good value for money and highly recommended.

Cafe Track is a little gem in the centre of Northampton. Very reasonably priced and absolutely super food. All for such a good cause too. The cafe itself is quaint and quirky and very welcoming. The owners and employees are what really makes this place an absolute home run, incredible people. I shall certainly be visiting regularly.

A well run sml cafe for helping people on the autistic spectrum to regain confidence and also to help them get into employment, food was good.

My son and I love coming here the food is lovely the staff are just as nice and no request is too much trouble we will happily be returning

Always a pleasure to go there. It supports a good cause (finding employment opportunities for young people on the autistic spectrum). They make a very nice vegan pizza and side salad which is worth every penny. Will no doubt go there again soon. Enjoy, Christiaan 👍🙂👌

I went here for the first time yesterday and I loved it! It's very chilled out and a great place if you need a break from how busy the town centre gets at times. The deluxe hot chocolate was so good too! I'll definitely be back again soon 💕

Definitely a new favourite for the kids. They absolutely adore the hot chocolate and 100’s of marshmallows and cream and the cakes are simply yum! Amazing staff and all with a super vision to help the community! Go and visit. ❤️

This cafe is great for breakfast or lunch. The cafe works together with other local businesses and supports children and adults with autism. The staff is very accommodating and the kids feel at home. Their stonebaked pizzas are to die for!

Went with my young family for breakfast and the lady serving couldn’t of been more accommodating. It was great friendly service and the food and coffee was excellent quality. A great cafe with a great purpose. Would definitely recommend, even if the cobble stones do shake the old dears...

Lovely cafe, very attentive when ordering food , great value for money

This cafe supports people with Autism to access employment and training. A great little cafe that offers top cakes for bargain prices and they service a fabulous deluxe hot chocolate and coffee's. They offer soya or almond milk for vegans or those with intolerances. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Sit back and watch the world go by from the huge window overlooking the market square. Love this addition to our town.

I had my birthday there on the 22nd of jan, it was nice as they stay after closing so I could have it, plus it was quite which is a bonus. The staff are nice as I know then from my school where they used to work at. I had a bacon baguette for my dinner and they catered for all our individual needs. Plus they decorated the room for my birthday. Conclusion: It’s a very nice environment with friendly staffSigned -fdr

It is a brilliant little café that offers great support too local autistic people it is a bit pricey but if youve got a good moral compass they also have a query zone in case of meltdowns. Definitely my fave food spot in Northampton.

What a lovely Cafe. Friendly staff and great food. Pizzas are highly recommended and they even do a pizza night! Had a great community feel and help young people with Autism get some valuable wok experience.

Popped in for brunch. Had an excellent bacon sandwich and cuppa, the pizzas looked so good followed my sandwich with one also. Piggy I know, but they are good. Great with kids also thanks Tom Sue and Jo. Back soon

Sharon was a fabulous host at this great little cafe! We enjoyed a lovely cup of java all the way from Toronto, enjoyed looking out the window onto the cute little market, and chatting with some locals! Great breakfast and chin wag with be locals!

We went on their monthly Pizza event. Pizza was amazing. Staff really friendly and they put back into the community helping children with autism find work. A great community business that deserves to succeed. We will definitely be returning, well done guys
