The Shalimar in Bradford

We found the Shalimar a few weeks ago and have returned regularly since. The standard is always exactly the same.The curries are amazing! I have a Meat Masala(madras hot for me) and it is by far the best i`ve had. The added fresh coriander just finishes a stunningly tasty dish with tender meat, perfectly. My husband loves the chicken madras, in fact if it we upto him he would eat this daily. The staff are also lovely and very friendly. If you haven`t tried it, you really, really should!

The best Asian takeaway in Ilkley. Great food at a good price and easily beats the more expensive takeaways on taste and value.

Not the best experience I’ve ever had at a takeaway No mention of cash only on the menu or on the phone Curry was decent but chicken was a bit gristly Small containers unlike other places in town Can’t think why I would revisit Sorry guys you need to up your game !

terrible, food was dry and obviously reheated possibly multiple times, it’s given me some of the worst food poisoning i think i’ve ever had.

One of the best kebabs I've ever had in my life and definitely the nicest naan I've ever eaten. Don't normally leave reviews but I felt this place deserved some respect. Absolutely banging. 10/10.

Chicken madras & three chapattis = £5-80 Portion size slightly below average. Poor quality chicken, the taste was unremarkable. The service was excellent.

Good portions, tasty. Bit of a delay in collecting but they were exceptionally busy so expect a bit of a wait. Well worth it

Cheap but bland food, all tastes the same, I've found Menston Spice delivery via Just Eat to be best takeout curry in Ilkley.

I'm not local but in the area for 1st time and orders chicken masala, rice & starters Better that my local takeaway lots of flavour large enough portions to share Highly recommended
