The Seagul's Nest in Blackpool

We ate here twice both times lovely experience. 4 of us We had full English and bacon baps. Beautiful. Second time we had toasties salad and chips plus more bacon butties. Only down side We had to eat out side. Which isn't the cafes fault.

Very disapointed this visit, takeout food only what on earth happened to your sit in and dine, you managed to keep this going through lockdown last year and we all really enjoyed our meals here. The food is still great and the prices still very reasonable. Just a shame we had to take our food out into the wind which spoiled our enjoyment of your food. Hopefully on our next visit we can again eating in our fav blackpool cafe

Walked up to this place and saw that it said closed on the doors, saw someone inside who came out to us n said that he wasn't going to open because he had no staff... We just wanted a couple of full English breakfasts. He said okay and am I glad he did! Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Food didn't take long to come out and everything was perfect. Very friendly guy. You can tell the pandemic has hurt this place but it is definitely worth a visit 5*

We went here for breakfast; the breakfast is as per what you would expect in Blackpool: cheap and cheerful. The building itself is very interesting and is obviously why people come here from afar.However I must say that the person working there at present is being very awkward ref covid and is refusing to let people sit indoors which spoils the overall atmosphere. She appeared to have barricaded herself indoors behind cabinets etc and allows nobody in for the toilet which I think is very bad. I heard a couple outside who were complaining as the grassy step area where the outdoor seats are was a bit high for them to get down - this is a health and safety issue.

What more do you love when it comes to Sundays! You GUESSED right ✅ a hot sunday dinner with all the trimmings and a lush gravy and Yorkies too. The meat was to die for and plenty of. Couldn't fault any of it big portion sizes and enough to fill you up! But leaves you wanting to go back for more. Run by a beautiful family ❤ with hearts of gold. If your close by or even want it delivered then please please please give this place a try! They have other items on the menu too. But the Sunday dinners are a must. Available in chicken. Pork. Beef and minted lamb

5 x lunches (2 x Beef, 3 x Chicken) absolutely lovely and delivered bang on time. 2nd time we've used them and won't be the last. might try the breakfasts next time!

After walking 2.5 miles to find food we wanted we came across this little cafe, lady was very welcoming and friendly, my friend had a burger and I had the steak, both meals were cooked to perfection and were fantastic. We would definitely go back here.

I'm probably going to ruffle some local feathers here as reading the reviews there are some very loyal probably repeat customers. We however do not fall into this niche category. The fake grass at the front covered in cigarette butts was a sign we should of left immediately but the family were hungry and everywhere else had a queue so we decided to risk it. The coffee came out in disposable cups not the best but hot and wet. We then sat for 45 minutes waiting for the food to come out and which point half the party decided to leave and go down to the promenade in the sun. A couple of us waited and understanding the girl was rushed off her feet I went inside to ask if they could box up the food to take away. She said our order was just being finished and they would box it up for us. Another 15 minutes later it came and we left. One breakfast was missing from the order but although cleanliness was not at a very high standard the food was ok bit we really wont be back.

Excellent breakfast here! Great value for money, lovely breakfast!!! We were away for 4 nights and enjoyed this one so much on our first morning that we came back every day! Definitely recommend the potatoe cubes with your breakfast, we ordered an extra portion with our breakfast we enjoyed them so much! Lovely service as well, really friendly. Definitely worth a visit

Called in for lunch ,the only food they were serving was a full breakfast. Poor quality food served and was quite salty. Tea and coffee tasted cheap. Staff were friendly,but the last serving behind the counterseemed quite flustered,even through it wasnt that busy.

Stopped there for breakfast. Obviously restricted access at the moment and food was served on disposable plates but that didn't take away from the homely atmosphere and the great food. Highly rate this easily missed little cafe.

After not being in Blackpool for the last 14 years it was nice to find that this place was still around and in business.Ok so its not the biggest but it certainly is the best little cafe in Blackpool serving breakfast lunch and dinnerA very warm welcome and a quick squirt of hand sanitiser and my son and I where seated instantly.Good selection of chilled drinks was on offer just the job after a day spent in and around town.Next for the food order due to the current covid situation not everything on the menu was available (fully understandable) we quickly decided on sausage, mash, peas and gravy. The food hit the spot bang on good sized portion hot and tasty.5 star rating all the way keep it up.We will be back during our visit to Blackpool.Well done it was a pleasure to eat in your cafe.

We stumbled on this wee place when walking one morning and came here each morning of our trip for a big breakfast to set us up for the day. The food and service is class. Great value for money and the owner is a really nice guy. He has a donation box in the cafe to feed the homeless and lonely on christmas day All in all a great wee cafe and we will use this each time we visit

We where staying just up from seagulls nest, i loved the colourfulness of outside, my boyfriend was like no not going there, so i came on here and the reviews where good, so he agreed to go in, frys where lovely, not too greecy :) also he collects donations to cook for the homeless and lonely at Christmas :)

Family of 4 adults and one toddler visited at 19:04, asked if cafe was still open and owner was very open and upfront to say that he was on his own, as it was a weekday, and he had one table's order to cook. We were in no rush as we intended to go to South Pier afterwards and were not time bound by anything. We sat down at table and were handed menus. A few minutes later could see that the other table received their order and we promptly gave our order. Dinner arrived and was all finished very quickly as it was so delicious. 4 empty plates with generous portions filled us all for the night. The little one had some chips from our plates and was full as well. We ordered 4 drinks; 2 cans, one luxury milkshake and an apple juice. Dinner totalled just over £35 for 4 adults and was well worth the visit. We left at around 20:00 so no real delay at all despite the warning. Would go back again, but not this trip to Blackpool as leaving tomorrow.

Had Sunday lunch here 26th May 2019 Was beautiful. There was one staff member lovely man. Greeted us with a smile very attentive. Food was delicious. Will definitely eat here again.

I came to seagulls nest cafe as it was recommended by a good friend of ours who has visited before with a great experience. Sadly we did not get served as we were told by the gentleman in the premises that he will be with us soon but unfortunately he didn't get round to taking our order as he was busy taking payment AND making food for other tables waiting. I don't know who the management is to this cafe but considering it was busy and only one person was doing everything we sadly could not afford to wait for much longer or we would have missed our show. This place lacks staff and for some reason had 1 person doing everything. Considering it was a weekend i would have thought there would be extra staff, not just one doing everything. The guy there seemed attentive to the customers he served but wasn't able to juggle the workload. I can't help but think it's another greedy management taking advantage of its workers like many in blackpool.

I visited here last week, the cafe was empty, no customers or staff! I read the reviews online and as many other places were closed i thought this would be perfect for us as they have advertised as being family friendly that i decided to bring my little girl here for her birthday and treat her to a breakfast. My husband walked through the door while we waited outside and he said there was no one there?! Although the cafe looked great inside he said the over powering smell of cigarettes had put him off, not to mention that this could put my daughter in danger with her asthma. Needless to say we didn't eat here and went to another little cafe around the corner,. Very disappointing considering the great reviews it has.

Our usual choice of cafe for breakfast on arrival in Blackpool was closed, so ended up in here. Wish we'd kept walking! Looks a quaint little place, but the service was so very slow. They took our orders and then took ages to get us our drinks.When the breakfasts finally arrived, they weren't bad, although the sausages were pretty tasteless and the beans were obviously cheap too. We had to ask for tomato sauce and was then presented with a near empty bottle which had dried on sauce all over the lid. Because we ordered separately from our son and his wife, we had finished eating before his even arrived! His arrived with an item missing and this wasn't served until he had finished his breakfast!

While up in Blackpool, after an EDL march, we fancied somewhere that did an all day breakfast. Now this cafe has potentially the best all day breakfast I have ever had in all my 42 years on this earth! I went for everything on my breakfast: Sausage, Bacon, Eggs, Black pudding, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, toast, hash browns, potato cakes and of course extra bacon... the lot.

We stopped here for breakfast and were very happy with what we received. Breakfast for all of us. Delicious bacon and sausage, good portions and friendly service.

This tiny little restaurant is located just off the south promadede.It is a warm welcoming and cosy atmosphere.It has the atmosphere of a traditional seaside cafe and it's decor lovely. We ate fish and chips which were beautifully cooked and presented. The service was good and staff were friendly. It was also excellent value for money. A pleasent break from the fast food restaurants that line the promenade.

After having a horrendous breakfast at the nearby Queens Hotel, we came across this gem of a cafe. Small and decorated with a seaside theme we enjoyed a full english breakfast for less than £5.00. The staff were friendly and the cafe was spotless which made the visit even more worthwhile.

Second time visiting this little cafe and was able to order a proper cooked dinner minted lamb shanks,choice of potatoes and a selection of mixed vegetables.my husband had lamb chops. Good value for money. Would definitely go again. Young lady who was serving us was very friendly and even remembered us from our last visit two years again.caters well for children, with a very varied menu.

Spotted this wee gem nestled in the corner off the main promenade near south shore. We thought it was closing on entering as the cafe was empty. Thankfully it wasn't, we were greeted by the lovely turkish owner. The place was spotless and our fish and chips were cooked fresh and the meal we had was amazing, we would recommend eating here and would return.

I visited this evening with my son, with his autism we were looking for a chilled out cafe for our evening meal.

I remember this Café when I was a kid some 45 years ago, I saw it on the Saturday of the royal wedding all trimmed up and decided to take my Grandchildren , what a lovely clean and welcoming place with lovely fresh food all presented excellent ,family run by really nice people, we visit Blackpool regular and this is definitely our place to go now

Been looking for a cafe that was open no luck came across this one it was closed as we walked away the owner was passing and opened up for us hours before he was supposed to and served us the best freshly cooked breakfast for a very long time we are here for a week but now we know where to go for our food all home cooked can't wait to return very friendly family run cafe with a very pleasant and warm welcome very clean couldn't ask for better this will be our new place to eat when we visit Blackpool

Roast dinner absolutely superb, had quite a long wait for the food, but it was so worth it. Friendly staff, warm welcome. So nice to find small café away from the main road of junk food.

Six of us visited for lunch. We had full breakfasts and a couple of kids meals. The meals were all freshly cooked to order and were really high quality, delicious meals at very reasonable prices. Kids meals were brought out first which I always like. The owner was very accommodating and friendly and didn't seem to mind our noisy boys! We will definitely return here when we are in Blackpool again.

Food is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was that tasty we went back for lunch. Everything is delicious. The nuggets are proper chicken not procesed crap. I cant rate it highly enough. Me and my partner have never had such a stressfree meal there so accomodating for children. And owers are so friendly.!!!!

cheap coffee at high prices. Nothing more to say. Can't say anything about food didn't have any. Gentleman who I think was the owner when I enquired if I could use the toilet he informed me that the bulb had just popped and to be careful, it looked to me as if the bulb had popped ages ago.

Came here as the lady in the local shop recommended it as we wanted a full English breakfast. Welcomed by a lovely lady and we ordered 4 belly buster breakfasts and a pancakes. Food cooked fresh and you can tell the difference. All cooked perfectly and my son loved his pancakes. Lovely and cosy too. The managers asked if we were from Birmingham (she recognised the accents) and was talking to us as she is from there too. If you want a lovely personal feel with fantastic fresh food this is definitely the perfect place.

Ordered full English breakfast, cheap and good food. Toffee and banana pancake is excellent. Friendly staff with a cute kid :) highly recommend!

My wife and i have been to this cafe numerous times and have always found the food that we ordered was always hot, well presented and quite tasty. The surroundings was always clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely call again and highly recommend it to my family and friends.

I came here with my Auntie because I was forced to but I had a bad feeling about this place. I ordered a kids beef burger but they had no kids beef so I have to get a 1/4 pounder beef burger of the adults menu which cost more, they also asked if the two 5 year olds wanted a milkshake (which was obviously so we would spend more). Then my auntie wanted a chicken curry but they had no curry so she had to change her order too. My little brother ordered chicken nuggets and my sister tried one and they said they were the worst chicken nuggets they have ever tasted. The place is tiny and empty and isn't the cleanest but the staff are friendly. They entertained the little ones with colouring books and crayons. But if I had the choice to come here again I wouldn't as it doesn't cater my like in food.

Stopped off before the pleasure beach to have some breakfast I ordered a belly buster which lived up to expectation and my girlfriend ordered the full English both were served with a friendly service Very nice people. I cannot fault anything whatsoever would highly recommend to anyone. Beautiful food!!!

Visited for breakfast after looking on trip advisor for reviews which would point us in the right direction for a good old English breakfast to set us up for a day at the Pleasure Beach - the Seagulls Nest Cafe did not disappoint! Food was cooked perfectly and my eggs were perfect - White cooked just right with an extremely runny yolk! Happy days! Service was good and staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We spotted this cafe when we were going to the South Pier. It is lovely and old fashioned with blue painted brickwork and small tables. The male owner was very friendly when we arrived and there were other customers who seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere. We ordered two coffees and pancakes. We actually only ordered one pancake but he obviously misheard and brought two but as they weren't that big I didn't want to cause a fuss so had both! Made a nice change from all the cafes full of youngsters.

This is a snug little cafe just around the corner from the main best of Blackpool pleasure beach fare, and a welcome change with its menu including a range of excellent pancakes as well as more typical selections. The husband-wife team were very friendly and welcoming and the food was first class.

Ok for a quick breakfast of average quality. This place is reasonably good but not great. If your hotel does breakfast you might as well just eat there as the extra effort to walk here isn't really worth it. If your after a decent enough breakfast then this place will do

I came to this cafe a couple of times during my break in Blackpool. I was welcomed by a lovely lady, very smiley and was excellent with my children. She gave them toys to play with and even colouring and crayons. She got our drinks while we continued to look at the menu. The guy in the cafe was very different. He spoken to her rudely when the customers could here and I heard him criticising her many times. He had no patience and didn't seem to care that customers could hear how he spoken to her. I felt sorry for her and asked if everything was OK, she said it was and continued to smile and play with my children but I could see she was upset. He was not at all professional and treated her very rude. This lady gave her 100% to us and I wish only her boss could see that. The food was great and the cafe was delightful, clean and very pleasant. My only criticism is that the boss was not so rude and had appreciation for his staff especially when she was run off her feet. I would return again and hope the guy there has a different attitude next time. Management should appreciate the hard work and dedication their staff show to customers!

I travel a lot to poker tournaments around the world and get so fed up with generic hotel chain breakfasts served by bored staff, and the Seagull's Nest is such a contrast: a lovely welcoming couple who did me a full English three times in three days without putting a foot wrong - genuine care in the cooking and in the customer service. Right next to the Pleasure Beach and the south pier (and the casino) and just off the prom, it couldn't be more convenient. It's even halal if that's your requirement.

The food and service was spot on lovely little place and the fact they have a pureed option for people with swallowing problems or child was the icing on the cake lovely touch very good

We went here on Saturday morning 18/2/17 for breakfast before we went to the fair. Lovely blonde lady welcomed us in, got us coffees while we looked at the menu. We then played some of the games provided whilst we waited for our food. Nice atmosphere Fast service. Breakfast was hot fresh and tasty so much so we returned Sunday morning : p

We came across this absolute little hidden gem by accident whilst looking for a cafe we visited last July, we never found it!The cafe is the road directly across from the South Pier on the right hand side of the road. I am glad we did not miss it! We seen a sign once we were at the road "seagulls nest cafe".... and we followed a few steps up! I was thinking to myself this cant be it.... it looked like a little conservatory (the doors/windows) but without the conservatory.... we popped our heads in (myself and 2 kids).... and it was full! Thankfully when we walked out my daughter said "someone shouted us mum".... went back and a couple gave up their table as they were ready to leave! On passing the girl leaving said its a good breakfast! She was so right! Best breakfast I have had in a long time! And I truly mean that! It was cooked to perfection! I had a small breakfast! And the kids had a bacon sanny with an egg on the side! My eldest had hot choc with cream and marshmallows, my youngest had strawberry milkshake with cream and sprinkes! They both got extra marshmallows and a flake on the side! The breakfast for me was perfect! I am fussy about beans but I am sure they were heinz as I managed to eat the whole lot! My plate was clean! The price charged was good! I looked at the whole menu and even dinner/evening meals they were good and valuable. It was nice to see that they offer a puried menu for people with digestive problems or kids! When I come back to Blackpool will definitely come back here! I got the impression it was a family business.... the woman serving us (very nice- blond hair) and the chef were husband and wife! And they were both very attentive! He came and asked us if we enjoyed our food! I could not have been more happy to be honest! Will recommend you to anyone that I know visiting blackpool! Thank you! If I were to ask a doctor what I needed on a Sunday morning they would be well placed to prescribe a "Large Breakfast" from the Seagulls Nest. Possibly the nicest part of the trip to Blackpool! Thanks for welcoming us; and good luck with the v8 engine!!

We stayed at Blackpool for 3 days and every morning had breakfast here and not once was we disappointed it was lovely freshly cooked food and reasonable prices too

We visited blackpool for 5 days and came across this wee cafe. We had our dog with us and it is difficult to find dog friendly places to eat!.. The owner was more than happy to set up a table for us outside and supplied a lovely breakfast for us freshly cooked to order and very reasonably priced. The next day we returned again great service and a great freshly cooked breakfast. Day 3 we had a dog sitter and sat inside. Again another great breakfast from a very welcoming family. I would highly recommend the seagulls nest as a place to have your breakfast, it's cooked fresh from when you order, reasonably priced and very well presented, great job guys and good luck for the future, we will return again for breakfast next time we are in blackpool.

Dean St - off the promenade, almost at South Pier has the Seagulls Nest Café just off the corner with the promenade. They made up a salad for my wife which was superb, and I had the best chicken curry I have ever tasted. Both with a cuppa, and all for just over £15. Absolutely superb.

Visited the Seagulls Nest for the 2nd time today. Lovely cosy setting, very friendly family run business, nothing is to much trouble. Food was delicious - had chilli, rice and tortilla chips - plenty!! Will return for sure - great atmosphere.

Small, cosy little cafe just along from the pleasure beach. Popped in for a quick bite for breakfast. Service was initially quite good but it became slightly busier later on. Took a bit of a wait to get the bill but there was only 1 person working so that can be forgiven.Id recommend, seems like a friendly, independent cafe.

When we arrived in this quaint little cafe it was quite busy and the poor chap behind the counter was on his own (we later learned his assistant had let him down) we decided to wait and I am so glad we did because our breakfast was fantastic and the service was first class. Not everyone who came in was willing to wait and tbh some were downright rude however the chap working there wasn't prepared to sacrifice the standard of his food to rush it onto the plate. Would recommend everyone tries this little gem and we will definitely be back when we visit Blackpool
