The Sandwich Co in Coleraine

I was very pleased to see this place open during my transit time at Coleraine station this morning. I stop here every time I’m in town and have done for years. My guilty pleasure is a good old fashioned freshly made chicken, stuffing & mayo sandwich on the freshest white bread. The quality is consistent. The vibe is like an old fashioned local cafe with workmen and little old ladies meeting for their morning coffee. As one of the fussiest black coffee drinkers on this planet, their barista made coffee is also very good.

Sandwichs salads and soup. Friendly staff. Good food. Busy at lunchtime.

I love this place. You get the same quality of food every time you go. The girls are friendly and helpful and the sandwiches are amazing. They do sell out of certain fillings so if you have a favourite then go early. They also offer soup. Have gf available and are knowledgeable about coeliac. The range of fillings is plenty and you're guaranteed to get something delicious. Will always return to the sandwich company

The soup and sandwich co is tasty and great value

Me and my buddy traveled to Coleraine to visit some friends (we're from America.) We heard good things about this place and I'm glad to say they're all true. I had the Cajun Sub and my friend had the Sausage Bacon and Egg both toasted and both were the best sandwiches we've ever had. Also the service was really great. Great staff, Great food and excellent prices would recommend to anyone who's in Coleraine!

Soup and a sandwich very average.Wheaten bread not fresh with soup.Decor very dated.Could do with a makeover.On a plus the staff were very pleasant.

Freshly 'made to order' sandwiches from a range of possible ingredients. Toasted option available. Also 'soup and sandwich' served. Plenty of indoor seating. Very helpful staff. Would definitely go back. Great to get a proper pot of tea! Happy to reccommend

Always very accommodating especially with a couple of young kids in tow. We normally go here around 12.30 or 1pm on a Saturday but even in peak times there is always a table. The staff are lovely and nothing is ever a problem. Plenty of choice but on the odd occasion if you visit towards the end of the lunch rush not all breads will be available but that is normally to be expected I suppose. Great cappuccinos too. One thing worth mentioning is that the entryway is small and just wide enough for two people to squeeze past each other. If you have a pram be prepared to navigate carefully or manoeuvre to allow others past on their way out and so on. Overall our wee family would recommend.

Smashing wee place for good fresh food. Very very clean and staff are excellent. 5 stars max but if could give more stats I would.

All of the toppings are always fresh and the portions are always generous! Only problem is that I can't bring myself to eat at a certain other well known sandwich franchise now because, in terms of quality, it doesn't even come close!

Hadn't been here in ages, was in the town and myself and my friend decided to nip in. We had the potato and leek soup and a baguette each. It was so good. Staff as usual very friendly and chatty. Selection for sandwiches is quite a lot and it took me a while to choose my filling for my baguette. Cosy wee place, we wont leave it as long next time.

Surely the best value lunches in Coleraine. I keep coming back time after time. Great choice of savoury food and variety of bread types. Coffee and many types of tea also available as well as cold drinks

I eat a sandwich very simple with chicken and coleslaw but it was very tasty!!! I love it! The staff was very professional and friendly! I recommend!!

We were in Coleraine looking for somewhere for a sandwich and soup. I found this on Google and we went in and had a lovely fresh sandwich each and soup with drinks all for a reasonable price. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quick tasty sandwich in Coleraine!

Go here most Tuesday s lovely food. Recently got a sandwich platter from here also great value for money and same quality of sandwiches. You can get lots of different types of platters if you are interested including tray bakes or wraps

Wonderful choice of sandwiches with myriad fillings and friendly people behind the counter. I often wonder how they are so cheerful as the place usually packed. A victim of it's success.

This is my fav place to go for a coffee and a sandwich in Coleraine. Quite busy sometimes bread and fillings are always fresh and tasty. Staff friendly and they don't rush u if ur there for a gossip with ur friends 😁

A very well run long established busy sandwich emporium with friendly staff and management situated right on railway road in Coleraine Quality fresh produce and dozens of fillings with top quality breads, to choose from You can phone in your order, which speeds things up so you don't have any waiting time, as it gets very busy at lunch time, and there are a couple of out side tables , that catch the sun for most of the day great for people watching while having your lunch or afternoon coffee

Meal deal. Can't go wrong with that yummy soup!

Lovely sandwiches but a bit pricey

Very disappointed to find this establishment hygiene standards seriously lacking as it was previously one of our favourite stops in Coleraine. Upon entering tables were cluttered with dirty dishes, the floor was filthy and the cafe wasn't even busy at this time. I reluctantly ordered a tea, declining food . The cup was chipped and stained therefore I didn't drink the tea, thankful I hadn't ordered food. We observed staff bring clean dishes out to counter and stand round having a chat whilst all the tables remained cluttered. Finally one staff member cleared one table of dishes however didn't wipe the table, leaving it with crumbs and sauce marks still visible...yuck. This establishment holds a 5 star rating for hygiene (scores on the doors), however it currently does not deserve this rating. Compared to other Sandwich Co establishments this one is letting the name down...very disappointed as others are excellent.

Love this place, food is always delicious and it's a lovely cosy atmosphere and a no.5 on the hygiene rating definitely worth a try!

Staff are always friendly and bantering about. Food is always of the highest quality. The sits at the side are a bit odd but it's probably because my arse is too big and doesn't fit. But otherwise, favourite place for snacks, salads, sandwiches and peace in Coleraine.

We threw The Sandwich Co a curve ball by asking if they had any fillings without meat, milk, cheese, or eggs – and they didn't have much except salad. Instead we had a couple of tasty baked potatoes topped with baked beans. What we had was great, and the staff certainly tried their best, just a shame there weren't a couple of vegan-friendly fillings like falafel, hummus, roasted veg, etc!

The Sandwich Co was on the way from my hotel (The Lodge) to the bus station and so I bought sandwiches here twice to eat on my walk along the Causeway Coast Way. It turned out to be a good choice as they were absolutely delicious.

Went here yesterday for lunch with my family. I ordered a ham and cheese toastie with lettuce and tomato. I have to say it was delicious! Slightly pokey sitting area and a wee but noisy but overall the food is lovely and great value. Will definitely return.

i have been here a few times for a spot of lunch and its very yummy. I have tried the BLT which was lovely and the staff are very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend trying one of the big baps or lovely baguettes. The cafe has limited seating space and wouldn't recommend going in when its very busy but that is the only fault i have with this cafe.

Bread very fresh, great choice of fillings and just such an enjoyable and very reasonable lunch. Will definitely be back here again and have already told my friends about it. Thank you.

I ve been to the sandwich co for years , both in the maiden city when it started and recently , decent coffee and the best sun dried tomatoe roll with prawn salad made the way I want it made - first class everytime

This café is very popular both with young and old and especially by the teenage girls from the local grammar school! It can be quite noisy when busy and a bit cramped but the sandwiches are so nice it is worth it for a treat now and again!

I have been in here quite a few times now when In Coleraine it's a nice clean wee cafe the staff are very nice the food is great I would recommend it if your looking a coffee and a sandwich

Sandwich Co make decent sandwiches that said the bread they use, although very fresh is just sliced white and brown that you can buy at any supermarket and make your own. Will be back but won't rush to go again.

Cannot fault the sandwich company in Coleraine. They have an extensive range of sandwiches and fillings all made fresh whilst you wait. Sit in or take away service available. They also do outside catering for large groups, their sandwich platters are good value and I have spent £100's on multiple platters over the years for business meetings. Think its a sign I'm in too often when they know my usual!

Really great choice for sandwiches, toasties, paninis. Also serves soup and baked potatoes. There is an extensive list of fillings and also a board with specials. The bread is always really fresh and fillings are generous. Reasonable prices as well.
