I didn't have any food so can't comment on that but I had a few rounds of drink with my relatives & the young barman who served me on each occasion was very polite & welcoming. I will definitely return again

All the staff was amazin made us proper welcome with being a wheelchair user they opened the fire exit to help us in and out the atmosphere was great the landlord cudnt help us enuff loved it

Better atmosphere with the new bosses in there, they make you really welcome , will definitely be going in more often

Very traditional feel in the heart of West Brom. Live music is often playing, but somehow you can find a quiet spot if you want one. Lovely community and very well priced drinks Lovely pint of real ale. Much appreciated

Read quite a few reviews slating the place but I guess it's all proportional. Personally I've found the staff helpful and very friendly. Considering it's location it isn't particularly loud or rowdy. The punters generally respect each other and I usually have my drink and enjoy the football in peace with no drama so have no issues popping in for quick stop.

Popped in on a whim, very pleasantly surprised, Pint of Guinness and half a Carling £5:50 makes this a very affordable drink or two, the tables were clean and tidy, pool table, sports TV and various events such as karaoke and bingo advertised. Seeing St Georges cross adorning the frontage in this day and age was welcomed. The barman did a good job of getting everyone served in short order and clearing the tables, toilets clean and a range of basic pub snacks if you get the munchies. The only negative I found was the table we sat at, when I pulled the chair out looked like there was a chicken nugget or something hiding under the chair, which was surprising with how clean the rest of the pub looked. Our first visit, won't be our last.

Lovely pub, nice atmosphere. But the three ales that are on were disgusting, definitely need pipes getting a good clean. The saviour on my visit was the guinness, beautiful pint.

Drink in this pub quite a lot but will not be anymore, Sarah is very off putting. Charges you the wrong prices and doesn't let us play pool because we are not regular day drinkers. Will not return

Nice new clean booza at last cheap beer plenty tv with sky sports and bt sports. They even av entrainment on wikends. Paula who runs the pub is top jolley. They even open at 8am wow

Bit rough to look at in and out but far from rough if that makes sense. I don't mind a drink here. Haven't found any trouble at all.

Looks a very lovely pub on the outside, but a sad atmosphere inside. Granted it was a weekday lunchtime visit, but it's in the middle of the town centre. Beer prices are great but the beers didn't taste quite right so I guess it's proportionate. Got within a few feet of the toilets and got a whiff that it would be a bad idea to go in, so held it in until I got home!

nice pub, as i walked in it felt like i walked into a cemetery, i know im getting on in life at 67 but omg all i seen was single elderly men sitting alone looking so bloody miserable, the staff looked so bored not exactly entertaining or socialable, i had one drink and left

Best pub around. Great atmospere, friendly bar staff, and the regulars are nice people. The dukebox is great and the general aesthetic is cozy and welcoming. Hope this place survives the winter because i plan on coming here as often as i can!

Awful place! The staff are rude especially someone called Conrad! Smell from the toilets just lingers in the pub! Good luck to you if you drink in this flea pit!

This pub could definitely benefit from a refit, it's rundown and shabby. That said it felt welcoming and the lager was cold.

One star is way too much ! It wouldn't let me give no stars ! Horrible pub , horrible area !

Has improved since lockdown & has now introduced cheaper prices during the early part of the week. The toilets could still do with improvement & a choice of real ales (or at least swapping the Doom Bar for another) would help. Also the lack of any food choices means a trip to the nearby Wetherspoons if you want to eat.

Didnt visit the premises but unfortunately walked passed and nearly got attacked by a very very drunk customer from this place. He was being racist and nearly punched me for the colour of my skin and also he started swearing at old Asian woman straight after. Owners should be more responsible as it was only midday and still serving him more. Avoid walking past in my opinion.

I’ve been to this pub a few times and I am Leaving a 5 star for Keley, so bubbly and friendly she’s the life and soul of that pub. Will be in again soon.

Not the best of pints but for such a reasonable price cant complain and sky football games shown, jukebox and pool tables so quite a bit to do but my issue is with location as opposed to the pub itself as beggars are rife .

The best thing about this dive is the two pool tables. The pub would really benefit from a deep clean and new lighting. Maybe some bubbly staff, too. Will pop in at some other time with further recommendations on how this establishment could improve its ratings

You won't get meals or butty's. It's a decent adult pub & serves proper ale at a good price.

Unless this is called the interceptor on the building itself and not online I did not visit in this place. I only go to certain pubs for food or the toilet and this is not one unless sits collected my visit from travelling pass lol

Friendly locals, inexpensive bar, karaokeDJ and jukebox 🎶, Wi-Fi, pool tables and televised sport 🎱📺 ⚽ Mostly an older crowd but a real sense of community amongst them. Relaxed atmosphere with customers welcome to bring in their own food since there's none served here (Wetherspoons Billiard Hall just across the road)

The real ales in there these days are so much better than twelve months ago, usually three different pumps on, think the average pint is £2.40 tho under two quid on a Tuesday night, there's also a loyalty card to get stamped with a free pint after so many beers ( real ales only), gets a bit boisterous some weekends but West Brom people like to enjoy themselves, 18months ago would have only given one star but quality of the beer has improved immensely

One of the worse public houses I've ever been to visit the staff are rude and toilets are disgraceful. One member of staff was asked her name due to her attitude and her reply was to tell me to f***k off. Go somewhere else if not satisfied. I asked a regular customer her name lisa.

Cheap and cheerful ok for a quick pint. They don't do meals

I didn't enjoy it...druggies outside at the entrance, (not customers) drinking cans and smoking spliffs being loud....apparently the loos was nice... drink wasn't all that scratched old glasses no ice...

A proper boozer. Reasonable price drink and the ales are good quality. Excellent for watching the sport. Well worth a visit.
