Had a few pints before closing last night. The 2 guys behind the bar were really friendly and had a great sense of humour.

Came in at 11pm on a Saturday and stayed til closing. Great selection of beers, staff were very friendly and chatty. Decor was nice, overall a lovely pub that I would happily return to next time I'm in the area.

Good food and drink and will be happy to recommend

Love the delightful combination of a cosy pub atmosphere and a fantastic deli offering. The outdoor seating area was perfect for a sunny afternoon pint. I've added it to my barguide.london site too!

We were properly well looked after in this lovely gastropub for a midweek birthday dinner. The food was fresh, presented with care, and enjoyable. Kudos to the kitchen, the charmingly wonderful restaurant manager and the lady behind the bar. We felt welcomed and appreciated. Would happily return.

Open mic Monday evening really good

I come here every Tuesday for a couple of pints of their very kept Guinness. Musics always great, pizzas look fab and bar staff are very friendly. Keep it up guys! Lovely pub!

Dining room felt a bit odd but the waiter was great. Had Barnsley chop👍. Clearly the pub buys good ingredients. Flavour all around, esp the greens.

The food was truly a cornucopia of succulent delights, my burger was delicious.

We had a really nice dinner here - we both had pizza and were really impressed. The service was also lovely and we really couldn’t have asked for a nicer waiter! Only complaint is the price as over £15 for a pizza does just feel quite steep as once we’d had one drink each it pushed the bill to £25 per head. Maybe they could consider doing a pizza and a drink bundle deal or reducing their prices somewhat

My nearest pub but I usually avoid it because the draught beer (when there is any) is badly kept. In all other respects it is very average with a surfeit of shouters.

Really nice neighbourhood pub with good pizza and above average food at reasonable prices. Service if prompt and friendly. Weekend evenings are extremely busy and the noise level can be deafening during peak hours.

Pub is good, tasty food and staff is friendly.

Front line staff weren't very attentive, got dirty looks instead of smiles when it came to service. Had to wait an awfully long time until we got served. We Ended up going somewhere else after 1st drinks because we wasn't willing to go through that ordeal again. I hope they aren't like this with other customers but for our first time we won't be going again. Merry Christmas 🎅

A proper pub. The pizzas looked and smelt great - maybe next time!

As an Italian I can say they cook a great pizza, I also got the cyder and the talisker whiskey, both very tasty :)

Lovely cosy pub they had a trio of musicians playing traditional Irish songs which made for a fantastic lively atmosphere

Terrible service today. They gave a gluten intolerant person a gluten pizza, whilst specifically saying it was gluten free. We asked 3 times to confirm, plus on the booking email. They never apologised, they then tried to serve that half eaten pizza to someone else in the party. Then took ages to take payment, tried to charge one person the total bill for the entire party.

Recently went back to the Salusbury over the weekend and it still delivers a great dining experience. The food is very good and is reasonably priced. The service has also been great, but this time, the Italian gentleman (maybe the manager), was fantastic and very pleasant.

Really bad service. The staff seem more interested in socialising or on their phones than catering to customers. I was given my pizza with no cutlery and it was getting cold before my partner went in to notify a staff member but they were too busy taking selfies. Really disappointing

Classic local pub that attracts an eclectic crowd providing a good atmosphere. Food is really good too, especially the pizza which is my favourite in the area. A really decent pub.

Booked a table on Friday night. Arrived a bit early but they were able to seat us. Good selection of drinks. I had an amazing pizza. Service and attention to detail was impressive too. Highly recommended.

Delicious pizza. We had the other options a few times and were a little disappointed compared to the pizza. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. They are also super child friendly with high chairs and big tables.

Decent place to drink, great bar staff, you don't have to wait too long to get served. Toilets need to be updated, but I tend to judge a place of hospitality by this.

The service in this pub is atrocious. The bar staff are unskilled and unmanaged. They are completely unaware that they should be tracking who is next to be served. I agree with others' comments that the servers appear to be deigning to serve you. The Salisbury pub needs a new manager to bring this into line.

The atmosphere was so quaint and lovely. It was very wonderful English experience of an awesome pub. I highly recommend you try this place while in London. The service was a 10 out of 10. The food and drinks were all phenomenal. I wish I had gone a few more times to try other items on the menu. I got this pizza for the lady at the next table and a fabulous looking pizza and I just couldn’t turn it down!

One of the best glutenfree pizzas in London!! Yes there is the risk of cross contamination as i believe they use the same oven but so far had never had any issues Even managed to bag myself a glutenfree beer 🍺 🍕

Service is lovely and friendly and I had a nice pint of IPA, I was just really disappointed with my pizza. Real shame.

Consistently good food and friendly service

The food has really gone down hill. The starter of corvette and calamari was a great mess with calamari as chewy as an elastic band.m, the mains weren’t any better. Great pub, but don’t eat here, pick one of the better places in Queen’s Park.

Feels a bit soulless with a load of old random tables and uncomfortable chairs thrown into what is essentially a white room. Nice bar and dining section though. Wouldn't take much to give it a bit more of a vibe.

I used to love the Salisbury, but since they have adopted the ridiculous practice of ‘card only’ payment I refuse to go there. Saturday night their card machine was broken so they were unable to sell drinks at all. Has the world gone mad?!?!? I like paying in cash so will be taking my business elsewhere. If everyone stopped going, they would soon change their policy.

Refusing to accept cash - boycott as forcing us to use digital money is forcing us into a social credit system. Also £14.00 for a glass of red wine - insane

There is so much to say about our experience in this pub. Our pizza was no tasty. I'm steel looking for the ingredients on my pizza,16pond for just tomato sauce, this is scandalous. Same for my sister pizza who order 4 cheese pizza, but this only taste oil. This is so expensive for this bad experience. And of course you can't complain because you paid before eating.... I not recomand at all

Visited the Salisbury this evening and after a lovely meal my card wasn’t working. As someone who is dyslexic and has trouble with my apply pay I finally sorted it out and paid my bill. During this process a young female waitress with dark hair starting laughing at me in the corner which I found to be completely unprofessional. I felt totally discriminated against not the type of behaviour I would expect from anyone. Very disappointing and upsetting!!

Goid atmosphere, but I would not eat there, Am sure the food is good but hygiene leaves a lot to be desired, filthiest kitchen floot and prep area at the washing up sink, chefs cloathing looking asvthough it had never seen a washing machine. Recommend but not for food

It's shame to read about the poor service received by some - has always been good the 5 or so times I've visited. The pizza however... The pizza is excellent. That 'almost burned on the puffy edges' stuff - I love munching the crusts as much as the tasty middle. (My partner is Italian, we eat in Italy regularly, she loves The Salusbury too) Keep serving pizza like this and all other quirks will be tolerated.

Never have I waited so long for such a mediocre pizza. I don’t really know what else to say, quite frankly. We arrived with the full intention of having lunch outside on a sunny day, but left in huff with takeaway boxes. I understand that good food takes time, but I also understand that pizza ovens are powerful enough to get those beloved pies out in what can only be described as a “hot minute”. (I *also* understand the basics of customer service, unlike the bearded grump behind the bar at the time) Overall, the food was okay. If the experience itself hadn’t been terrible this would be forgivable, but next time you make customers wait nearly an hour for a pizza, make sure it’s worth it.

Awful. Bar staff were great. Waitress was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Clearly in the wrong industry. I ordered a charcuterie board which came with 2!!!! 1” square cubes of cheese - one of which was Parmesan! When I complained, she told me “well this is how it comes” Dreadful. Avoid! Ben Johnson

The pizzas used to be good. If you get them to go I guess they are ok. If you order in they turn up after half an hour and luke warm. Go to Quatieri on Kilburn High Road instead

Despite pizza being served until 9.30pm, at 9.15pm we were asked to sit at the pub instead of the restaurant; we were given the pizza menu and we sat outside. But when it came to ordering, they refused our order. The prices are way too expensive anyway.

Nice place but very busy at peak times and would suggest getting there early if you'd like a table. Drinks are a bit pricy (around £5-7 for a pint) but the bar is clean, staff are friendly and it has a good atmosphere.

Great pub with a good drink selection, friendly staff and fantastic pizzas Italians would recommend to each other. Seriously, the pizzas are outstanding.

Great local spot. We ordered negronis and the focaccia, aubergine parmesan, and fungi and rucola pizza. All were great, no complaints. The pizza in particular was quite large, so just be aware of that when you're ordering.

Brilliant pub and atmosphere with nice locals

The place is lovely . Like the proper atmosphere of being in the pub pub if I can call it that way :) A bit under staff and the actual crew have a ego to be asked . Place is awesome crew needs improvement. I’m giving 5 stars as I believe you can do it better.

This pub might have been somewhat better in the before (Covid) times; Now it's let down by its poor beer selection, inconsistent food and bad service. Which is surprising considering the deli and wine shop it's apparently associated with.

Waited 10 mins to be seated, until I had to walk to the bar and asked. Waited 15 mins for a drink, until one of the waiters (long hair and beard) asked if we had a booking and then walked off to not return. At this stage we decided to leave as it was a complete waste of our time. I would say worst customer service ever, but the customer service was actually non existent. Won’t be back.

Friendly but completely clueless and inexperienced staffs work there. They all look underaged and seem to be working as intern waiters, bar and kitchen. Been 5 times I go there and they say they don’t have any more gluten free pizza, their best item on the menu. At 7pm and no more gluten-free base means the trainee chef could not be bothered making it... What a shame.. Could have been the best local pub..

This place looks so inviting from the outside. Came here for a quick drink and some snacks. Delicious pizza and quick service. Tried some tiramisu for dessert. Nice flavour but a bit on the warm side.

Bit expensive but it was busy with people who are good local people.Friendly and polite.

By their own admission they were a bit short staffed that night which meant the covid secure table service was pretty slow but it was a pleasant space to wait for a bevy, and they did have a decent selection of drinks that veer closer to the restaurant side of things than the craft beer pub but decent none the less. The pizzas smelt incredible but we were in the area for other food so I will have to sample the breast delights next time.

In the heart of Salusbury Road in Queen's Park, The Salusbury is full of locals in the evenings. A casual setting with nice food. Combined with the wine store and cafe next door, you will not need to venture far for a pleasant weekend day.

My local. Love it here. I cannot wait for it to open after lockdown again
