Selekt Chicken Wembley in Brent

I didnt try anything yet but just placed an order and the boy who was taking order was busy putting his funger in his nosii even i was chatting to him but he didnt mind to take his finger out. I wanted to order rice box but they haven't got it i dont know he said something to me regarding that rice box but dont know whay he said. At the moment im thinking should i take the food or leave it like this as im feeling so awfull. Anyways the man in white outfit much better and looks professional.

Excellent Chicken and Excellent Staff Issue was other customers that while having their meals are shouting with no respect for others

I had a terrible experience here. Their customer service was awful, and the staff was rude and condescending when I tried to ask questions. It felt like they were making me feel stupid just for seeking clarification

I got grill chicken and spicy fried wings it was fantastic I would recommend to everyone try their food ,

Don't come here if you are looking for fast food. It takes forever to get your food made here for some reason. When you eventually get it it's OK but nothing special.

12/07/24 at 8:45 we had placed oder of Grilled wings it took 30 min cross. As he told as 10 to 15min. We left the oder and came.

I tried grilled thigh with rice. It was OK but nothing extra ordinary to talk about.

I had a very bad experience today. Selet chicken Wembley. The chicken was too dry. I was so disappointed with the food

Whenever I come to Wembley, I never leave without visiting this place. Their spicy grilled chicken is on a different level 🔥—absolutely delicious!

Very busy with locals. We had a delicious chicken sandwich, a whole bite!

Food is generally good however service is lot to be desired for. Also they have freezing cold water to wash your hands no hot water.

Had grilled chicken meal the chicken was old and flavour was awful and I was feeling nauseous and wanted to throw up will never eat here again

I always go here after gym for the freshly grilled spicy chicken with rice. Beats even the top restaurants such as nandos etc. Good quality chicken never had a bad meal from them yet. 😋

Liked the peri-peri chicken....today we waited for our order 45 mins and that cashier.....was a so rude n arrogant 😑 asked for refund..avoid this place ...used to like this place.....but after today....never again

I came here today on a sunday I ordered for 2 a grilled burger meal and halfchicken grilled meal it took 30 minutes of waiting which am not impressed and most of the burger was burnt and it was breaking apart.NOT RECCOMENDED.

The food choices for chicken enthusiast is amazing. It can get very busy at times, however, the food is freshly prepared so it will be worth the wait. The only downside is if you are sitting in to eat in winter, the restaurant does tend to be very chilly inside unfortunately.

I go here almost every other day. The food is good. The wings are nice and seasoned, and they're not oily and unhealthy. The staff are very decent guys as well

I’ve lived in the area for over 10 years, constantly ordering from this place.without a doubt the worst service I’ve ever received my order is always last to be taken or arrives later then other. I don’t if it’s because I’m a female or because I’m black. I wouldn’t recommended.

One worker in specific was taking the piss. I was there for long waiting for a small order and there where people who got in after me and got there food before me. Don’t order with the guy with orange/brown hair!

Previous a best option for quality and nice food. Now the price go up a bit, but no dramatic, but you have to beg for salt, or mayo, tishu etc... Today I got a situation, I paid and they straight paid the other costumer,and they can't see my payment. So I have to proof by my online banking. Absolutely a joke

Horrible service. Went there and the man behind the counter was very disrespectful. Knew I was waiting to be served next but ignored me. On top of that he kept playing with his face which I thought was quite unhygienic. The food was average and I will never be eating there again. They don't even deserve 1 star

Honestly I've been coming to this place for years and quite frankly I've had enough and NEVER GOING BACK! My mum is suffering with food poisoning from eating your grilled chicken. Bacillus cereus is the name of the food poisoning type that the hospital said my mum has. When I was growing up Chicken Cottage used to be the best chicken shop in the game but over the years I've been seeing some disgusting unhygienic people being employed where I have to refused to be served by that person. Not to mention they are selective on who they want to serve and would deliberately ignore anyone who isn't of Asian culture. Not to mention they don't clean their chicken wings properly and cook them with visible feathers coming out of it. I've had hair in my barbecue chicken and all sorts. Honestly I am done with selekt chicken because they aren't selecting the correct kind of sanitary staff to serve food. This review has been a long time coming! I'm also reporting them to the council as I saw another review where someone had food poisoning

As usual, value for money, great tasting pizzas.

Their Chicken Grill burger is tender, juicy, really nice and value for money.

It's a good fast food place they have a good peri peri chicken menu with the traditional fried chicken and other eateries.

Fair portions, very tasty chicken escalope but I so fresh it broke up in the hand. Showed 5 star ratings, being in Brent must have bribed council officers before visiting the toilets etc.

Delicious food that is well worth the price. Grilled chicken better than Nando’s. Staff are friendly and attentive.

This place used to be great, but unfortunately, it's not the same anymore 😔 😕. The food is so salty and keeps you drinking water all night, and the morning visit to the bathroom is not nice. Used to like this place a lot, but it is starting to go downhill 😕 😐 🤔

Absolutely terrible! The staff are some of the rudest staff on the planet, likewise the food is a mirror of their attitude, terrible! Needs new staff & ownership. I discovered a bone in my chicken wrap! The flavouring is completely different to any other Selekt Chicken branches.

They use to have the best chicken in Brent, would travel far for this place. That has all changed. I understand the price increase but the new sauce/seasoning they now put on the grilled chicken is disgusting and their customer service is poor. Such a shame.

I ordered for 6 portions of chicken & rice, the girl said they only have 2 portions of rice left, so I cancelled remaining 4 & told her to just give me 2, but another staff came & said he'll get rice as they had already charged me for 6. In some time he came back from other shop & gave me my parcel. When I reached home, I found biryani rice, so I called them just to inform not to do it again & the girl apologised. Later another guy called me & he was very rude over phone, trying to change his statetements every time. He said we gave you yesterday's rice & also said that his colleague who already apologised for her mistake is a part timer.

Great fresh food each and every time. Doesn’t matter if you try the fried or grilled, you will be having the freshest hot out the oven food. Customer service is always great too by the older gentleman with the glasses. Thank you

Very Disappointed and I came from Manchester today I ordered 4 grilled burger meal,4 stick burger meal and 10 wings . The grilled burger meal were disgusting the grilled burger meal were all old hard raw red meat with abit fat on it . Wasted my money I would not recommend it to anyone. As I visit wembly regularly I would not order again. Avoid this place hygiene is zero .

I literally just had the BBQ wings meal and I was expecting juicy bbq wings but instead I was tasting beyond spicy wings dipped in a sauce that didn’t even taste nice, the chicken was dry and the chips while plentiful were bland even with mayonnaise. I went up to the counter to tell them that they should express the bbq wings are spicy (beyond mild/medium) and they said that I did not tell them about my tolerance to spice like what?! It’s BBQ WINGS not spicy wings! It’s false advertisement. Please do not order the wings here if you are not trying to have it spicy.

I am chicken lover, I tried several brand of chicken food, but since I have tried to eat selekt chicken. That’s one best chicken in my experience. Every product are excellent, peri- peri chicken, selekt combos, BBQ, Grilled, Boneless combo, Burger, Nuggets Meal, Grilled & BBQ chicken Burger, Strips Meal,Smokey BBQ ,Grilled Chicken wrap, Fillet Burger Meal, Veggie Burger Meal, Fish Burger Meal, etc. All the food perfect, tremendous, Marvelous, price very economical test excellent.

I couldn't really taste what i was eating if I'm honest and i ordered a chicken fillet burger and fries. I couldn't taste any of it and barely finished... Not my cup of tea, but the service was nice

I'v been coming here since the 90's when khalid first opens this place up. I'v never had complaint but 2 weeks ago I came and ordered 3pc chicken meal and 2 portion of bbq wings, what I received was old chicken which I couldn't eat, the bbq wings were old too, when I bit into them the bone was dark and black in some points. I threw everything in the bin, and went to Zams peri peri on Harrow Road to fulfil my chicken craving, ypu guys used to be good now I don't even want to step foot in your place your standards have dropped dramatically

I order the chicken peri peri wrap meal . When I I take the wrap to home they put old grill chicken In the wrap with bones . Which doesn’t taste at all like peri peri wrap . (Other branches they use the chicken fillet for the wrap and they cook it on grill very well) . and when I call back to the shop they guy say no sir you are wrong . He say I make the right wrap. He doesn’t accept his mistake .

When I order the food for my kids the guys who were doing the cooking and at the same time he was doing the cleaning!!! And other guys was touching himself again and again and then he touch the food I don’t get it how it can be possible!!! It’s horrible very disappointed place I never wants to come back again
