This really is a lovely place to go for a cuppa and a cake. Situated in the main shopping area of Lowestoft, the Salty Crow is independently run by a very friendly couple and offers a wide range of drinks. The coffees looked delicious - I had the really excellent green tea, probably the best I've ever had - it was so nice, I stayed for another cup! A range of tasty-looking cakes was on offer, and several customers were clearly enjoying them (sadly i didn't have one). A lovely atmosphere, uplifting background music and fun decor. Well-behaved dogs are made very welcome.

A great deli and although it’s all plant based I would advise everyone to try it , the food is exceptional and the drinks superb with a great selection of dry goods and deli products. I’ve visited regularly since it opened and I’m always impressed

Happened across this lovely gem while looking for a bite to eat. We didn’t realise all food was plant based and aren’t vegan but thought we’d give it a try. Lovely food, great, friendly atmosphere and gluten free options - what’s not to love!

Oh gosh this place is out of this world. I am currently breastfeeding my baby with a soya allergy so was worried what I'd eat. After contacting the cafe Emma had ready a list of soya free foods to eat. So many delicious choices! We had bagels one with lemony cream cheeze and one houmous and caramelised onion chutney. They were so so good. I also had a salted caramel tart. There's literally nothing I can eat at chains like Costa but I'd far rather support an amazing local business like this anyway. There was tonnes of yummy choices so that I'm sure vegans, veggies and carnivores would be happy. Including flavour burst mr whippy! We will be back! Thanks so much

Regularly pop in on my own or in company. Great place with fab deli-style selection. Town centre location. Vegan customer, but Salty Crow would appeal to anyone who loves good quality, tasty food.

We tried a whole range of sandwiches and baked goods and drinks and loved it all. The "bacon" and guacamole was especially tasty. The people who ran it were friendly and clearly passionate about offering great plant-based food. Also don't miss the selection of vegan cheeses and other products. Well worth a trip to Lowestoft. If only they'd open a second location in Norwich!

Fabulous selection of breads, fillings, smoothies, milkshakes, hot drinks and dairy-free milks. Also sell a wide range of vegan supermarket produce, some you can’t find in regular supermarkets so is amazing! Even if you’re not vegan, give this café a go for a change - you won’t be disappointed!

The Salty Crow is amazing. It is 100% vegan so you don't need to check what you can eat, you can eat everything! The food was really yummy, the ingredients they use and sell are top class, and the other produce they sell is interesting and varied with some things we hadn't been able to buy anywhere else. The milkshakes and whippy ice creams were as good as or better than non vegan milkshakes and whippy ice creams! Plus the prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommended.

I was so pleased to hear of a vegan cafe/deli opening in Lowestoft, so I had to try. I was not disappointed…I had a gorgeous bagel with an amazing vegan cheese and balsamic onion for lunch and also purchased cake, cheese, pate and crackers to take home…..lovely!! At last somewhere I can go to eat without being offered just one option!! I would highly recommend and will most definitely be eating food from there again.

My wife and I called in here on our wedding anniversary for a drink and we're so impressed we booked a meal for the following evening and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and very well presented, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the selection of drinks available is perfect. We will definitely be returning

What an excellent find, tucked away in the corner of Beccles Common. Our Springer Cookie was first through the door and made very welcome. We sat outside in some very comfy garden chairs had a coffee and tea with a sausage roll and cheese scone, if it wasn’t cheesy enough came with an extra pot of cheese. Both came warm and hit the spot. Service was excellent and very reasonably priced £15 for our delights. Good place for a break after a dog walk although I do feel I would walk out of my way if I was in the area again
