La ensalada más deliciosa y llena que he probado. Los ingredientes eran del calibre más fresco y sabroso. El Campeón del Pueblo fue cargado hasta el borde. Recomiendo encarecidamente los brownies miso también! Definitivamente volveré para más visitas y quiero probar algunas de las otras ensaladas que se ofrecen, ya que todos mis colegas tenían solo grandes cosas que decir sobre sus opciones también!

I ordered a crunch box with goats cheese and avocado, and so did my friend. When I got it back to the office. I had no goats cheese or avocado, my croutons were missing and there were no potatoes. I checked my ticket one the lid and I’d definitely ordered and paid for the proteins, but they clearly decided I didn’t need it or the additional carbs. What I did have was lovely.

Yes yes yes. Just hands down the best salads in London. If you claim to not like salads, you clearly haven't visited The Salad Kitchen. The best food, and you cannot beat them for value for money. Can't get enough of the freshly prepared ingredients. Home made slaw, wonderfully flavoured cous cous and grains, roast potatoes (🤤)... Plus, the range of proteins and dressings. Lemon pesto?! Oh yes, oh yes. Get in my mouth.

This place has newly opened in Avery Row. Don't think the best PR stunt ever where they offered free lunch to everyone instead of targeting local businesses and making sure they will become repeat customers. Also, they have come up with new math where half an avocado at £0.75 is not too bad until you get it served: it ends up being a quarter avocado - go figure? The salads are OK. It is definately not the first take out place trying to make money with overpriced salads.

I’ve been visiting The Salad Kitchen in Whitecross St for a takeaway salad very regularly since first visiting a month or two ago on a friend’s recommendation. They offer 5 basic ingredients to choose from (salad leaves, beans, pickled shredded cabbage, barley/couscous, potato, shredded carrot) which occasionally differ slightly, which you can further customise by adding from a number of protein options from a selection that includes shredded chicken, avocado, feta, and halloumi. You can then choose from a number of salad dressing (teriyaki mayo is I think the house dressing and delicious) and then additional toppings (from croutons, dried chilli flakes, sesame seeds, dried onion flakes) at no extra cost. Knocks the living crap out of overpriced and I filling salads you can get at Pret and the like - really fresh ingredients, filling and delicious. I think the secret is in the pickled cabbage as the vinegary flavour adds a subtle tangy edge. A medium box of the basic ingredients plus one protein and selection of extra toppings is about £5.60 thought you can also choose a large or add two proteins at half portions. The salad box is weighed on a scale for consistency. Sounds from reading the other reviews that the portion used to be even larger but it still seems very good value for a fairly weighty salad box at this price which leaves me very full and I have a pretty healthy appetite! A friend of mine opted for the larger box on a few occasions but there doesn’t seem to be much difference in portion size between that and the medium box so would go with the medium one.

this has been my go to lunch every day for a long time. i have been noticing the portions getting progressively smaller and smaller and today it was really half the size of what it used to be. My salad box used to be full and now it literally comes up half way up the box. Really really disappointed and a sad way to repay loyalty. Food is still delicious but now left hungry instead of satisfied.

I love this place, been coming for ages but now they have raised the prices and shrunk the portion size! the halloumi has gone down to one tiny square :( really disappointing and now not really worth the money (£6.50 for a salad)

i ordered a small salad box with everything and it was incredible. The salad tastes so fresh, the chicken is succulent and they had a salad dressing to suit everyones tastebuds. Highly recommend the food from here!

Normally love this place but had a salad today which was half the size of normal. Left feeling hungry after.

When working in Old Street I used to go here all the time. Long queues but they move quickly. Healthy and the shredded chicken and halloumi were a great combo. A big salad that didn't have any stodge in but kept you full till home time. Great place and good value.

I tried this establishment a few months ago with my brother following an excellent lunchtime concert at St Lukes up the road. The salads are far from boring. You'll find lots of variety with various dressings; good service; and plenty of space to sit downstairs. Meals are reasonably priced - and they are healthy to boot. What's not to like? The salad here is always incredible - the service is great however they sometimes have a bit of a queue due to the popularity. I think it's consistently one of the best salads I've ever had. My only slight criticisms would be that the portion sizes have definitely decreased recently which is a shame and the sauces are no longer self serve which was a nice touch previously.

Being from Yorkshire im not really a salad person but when I moved down to London I was told to try a salad from the salad kitchen and they truly have converted me to salads. Made fresh in front of you, beautiful ingredients and the most friendly staff (which is rare in London), I would recommend The Salad Kitchen for those that want to eat healthy, still want to get full and maybe fancy converting to salad (like me).

I know salads! I eat salads every day. I've tried them all around here, which is close enough to work. This is by far the best in the area, maybe the best I've had ever. There is this one place in Nottinghill but otherwise top contender. This is definitely in my top 3 in london

The greatest, most filling, satisfying and tasty lunch I have ever had. Whatever your appetite, the dishes served for the lunch box will do the job. Plus lovely staff!

I often go the salad kitchen for their delicious tailor-made salad healthy and tasty meal on budget is always appreciated, staff is always very friendly and helpful and salad ingredients fresh and tasty. You go there you are on for a guilt less delish meal :)

Back to The salad kitchen for a wonderful fresh and inventive lunch at my favourite place. The staff are wonderful and are very willing to accommodate any dietary requirements, so nice to be somewhere that is different to the normal chains we see every where....

Found this small but perfectly formed salad bar, excellent value , wide variety of interesting salads to choose from, all really fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful Super lunch would certainly go back again and again.
