The Sagart in Belfast

If you want a great food and great cocktails and great staff then visit here ... this place is always consistent and welcoming

We were expecting tapas but it seems The Sagart has changed to a wine bar with a cheese list rather than the old menu. However, there is an option to order from the menu of the Havana Bank Square which we did. Excellent Korean wings and a lovely lemon sole main course. We were well looked after by Fint. Nice place to go for a bite to eat and a chat.

I visit the Sagart on a regular basis with friends after a girls day out shopping and it never fails to please. We had some young relations visiting us from Dublin and Australia last weekend and took them to the Sagart for food and drink and everything was fabulous. Great tapas, wine, burgers and pints! And a big thanks to Rebecca and Michael for their first class service.

Fell upon this place by accident during recent trip to Belfast. Was looking for lunch before a tour. Loved the interesting menu and creative cocktails. Bartender, wish we had gotten their name, was so energetic and spent some time talking about their passion for prohibition era cocktails. Enthusiasm was contagious. Would love to return! Wish I could transport this little gem and this lovely bartender to Boston!

Came to the sagart last week with a few gal pals and wow! This is a hidden treasure in Belfast I will definitely be back. Fiona behind the bar was a gem and made us the nicest cocktail ever when we were stuck for choice (too much to choose from) not sure what it was called but it was beautiful and had the best customer service ever from Fiona❤️❤️

Visited the Sagart for catch up cocktails with a friend. The new menu is to die for and don't get me started on the cocktails! The bar itself has a cool and relaxed vibe and barman Nick was welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back :)

Me and my friend visited the Sagart for a wee catch up. The manager Nick was so helpful in suggesting what cocktails to have from their new menu. The food was also gorge and had a class variety of veggie and vegan options (which by the way, a lot of places in Belfast could learn from!). Will defo be back!

Was recommended here by a friend and am so glad I listened. Bar staff were very welcoming and friendly. I had the cocktail of the week, their twist on an old fashioned and i loved it!! Will definitely be back to try some more!

Tapas plates are £4.00 each which would be ok if they tasted good. I had cauliflower tempura which consisted of 3 bland florets, I also had potato bravas which was the most tasteless tapas I've ever had; no flavour, no chili, no garlic. The staff spent a lot of time talking to each other instead of making sure the customers were ok and there was only 6 people in the bar including us. Sorry but we won't be back.

Sagart is priest as Gaeilge (in irish) It's unique charm is welcoming and friendly. Excellent drink serve superb cocktails, with cocktail of the week de rigueur. But this is not a cocktail bar, per se, it is a public house serving tasty food. Stop by say hello, tell them I sent you

Stopped here for a gin before dining. A small bistro with outside seating and great gin and cocktail selection. Food is served but can’t comment as only here for drinks Music also great. Worth a return !!

My wife is not one for tapas, but this hidden gem certainly knows how to do it with a fantastic taste sensation, every dish was full of great taste and it was like an explosion of taste in your mouth.
