Highly recommend great Chinese food 👍

Best chicken noodle soup i’ve had! Staff are nice and service quick! Will be back!

Have pretty much tried all the Chinese take-aways in Ards. They all do some things well and other things terribly. Most of all, I find the quality of the meat (especially chicken) from most to be rubbery and distinctly odd tasing. Not pleasant. Recently tried The Ruby on a few occasions and it is by far the most consistent chinese. Portion sizes are huge and the food is of a very high standard. The quality of the meat is much better than all the others and the chicken is proper chicken breast!!!! Looking forward to trying more of the menu, and just relieved that we have found somewhere that we can look forward to trying more of the menu. Oh, good value as well. A proper old school chinese that gets it right.

I would implore you to take a look out the back of their premises before you order. It's absolutely rancid, and if this is how the bins are kept, just imagine how the food preparation area looks like! I last ordered a meal from here in the early 1990's.....Would I, nowadays? Only if I wanted a case of fatal Salmonella Enterididis....

Heard of the ruby many times. Tbh I wasn’t sure after reading mixed reviews. However thought we’d give it a go few weeks ago when our usual Chinese was on holiday! My what a great meal we had. Amazing fried rice not greasy and full of flavour. Curry & black pepper sauce really good. I could go on. Great food, great portions, great value and full of flavour. If you haven’t tried. Give this place a go 😘

Called in last minute for a Chinese for dinner. Great menu and quick service.

Never eating there again.... twice I've had upset tummy... First time I wasn't sure but I'll not be back.... It used to be a decent takeaway years ago ... I hope the health inspector reads these reviews.

Waiting two hours for a delivery is absolutely shocking, this review wouldn't even be written if the food came hot but it was stone cold and the fact that they lie by saying it has left, then when we called an hour later the food never even left the Ruby. This place has gone to the dogs. We won't be ordering from here again.

Enjoyed chicken balls this evening, good portions. Worth the wait for delivery, will definitely be back.

This is by far the best Chinese in Ards. Just totally yummy!

Chicken balls are great, rice great chips freezing couldn't eat them but everything else perfect

Had a "meal for two" from here last night and it was absolutely brilliant. Very fast service and generous portions. Quality outstanding. Will definitely be back.

Just love here, a little bit more expensive than some of the other places but the size of their portions does between two of us. Never had a bad meal and really quick.

Normally don't give 5 stars but I am very impressed with the quality and quantity of the meals

Got a Chinese a week ago think it was xmas eve. Meals where awful. Rice was brick hard meat undercooked and slimy. Overall really bad choice. Worst meal I've had in a while.

This is my wifes favourite Chinese takeaway, I like it as well. The salted chili chips are good, tbf I haven't had anything I didn't like out of here.
