First time eating at Bay of Bengal and it was lovely we will be back

Bay of bengal…. Wow . The place is fascinating . I love coming here with my friends and eating good Indian food . The services and prices are incredible and I totally recommend this place

There’s a couple of very good things about this restaurant, the food and the price. A lot cheaper than other Indian restaurants with the same high quality food. However, the drawback is management / waiting times. I’ve been twice (take-away) and ordered online on their “food hub” portal. This portal gives a collection time of approx 30 mins after you order but I’ve realised that by no means is when your food is ready. Twice now I have had to wait for c. 30 / 40 mins after they said my food is ready. Not good enough, either change the booking system or advise of a correct time. In summary, great food but be prepared to wait!

Absolutely lovely food and service. Owned and run by Hakim you will be a familiar face to anyone who has eaten in The Bokara and Ganges in the past. Highly recommend.

Starters were great, unfortunately the mains not so good. Chicken was cooked well so that it was wonderfully moist, unfortunately flavour had a 'hole' in it. Sadly, there are no soft furnishings nor curtains. Consequently the noise from other customers fills the room such that you can hardly hear others in your group. This means raising one's voice which just adds to the cacophony! It was busy when we went which resulted in an extremely long wait between starters and mains, about an HOUR! Very friendly staff but because of the other aspects we'll think twice before going again, which is a shame. I hope the management take note of this review and try to uplift the restaurant.

Terrible service.went last night order i sode eaited over 50 mins for order all kind of excuses customer came i. After me came.back 45 mi s for his order couldn't believe we were atill waiting owner wasnt interested just moan on about the noise from the parade which was going on Foods great but will never be back utter contempt for customers

Ordered food for collection, came at advised time and was made to wait 40 minutes in the restaurant after the collection time. I had people in the car waiting for me to return. Food wasn't great either. Although vegetable samosa were nice.

Got a takeaway of chicken tikka masala, lamb jalfrezi, onion bhajis, 2 naan and pilau rice, all was warm when it arrived, delivery was 15 minutes after it was expected but not an issue as I knew Saturday night is really busy. Can't complain on the food, was very good, meat was tender, sauces were tasty, bhajis were nice and crispy and overall it was enjoyable and I'd definitely be getting out of it again

The food here is delicious. Very tasty and definitely recommended. Staff also helped us pick the best dish.

Food was fantastic.. Not to many people in when I went .. But it didn't matter service was great and its bring your own with no charge .. Definitely worth a visit 😊

We are bikers and had the most wonderful evening in this restaurant , owner was so so so inviting food was to die for . We talked about an old friend of mine called calam ( I know that is not the right way to soell his name ) who worked in the gangies years ago and 4 days later I meet him after all these years ,, thank you so much and we will be back

The staff here are such lovely people, we get a takeaway from them every time we visit the caravan as a family and they never fail to deliver. Amazing food and service and plates are always scraped clean!

Should of looked at the hygiene rating on the door before we we in. Looked and felt unclean and they Don't seem bothered to do anything about it

We got a take away for 2. One of the dishes was nearly all sauce.. no chicken chunks. Poor..I won't be back.

I've only gave one star because it isn't possible to give this place a -5 stars ! easily the worst indian food i've ever ate in my life !!! and i have ate in millions of places. The kebab meat was terrible, i swear if it was made with Pedigree chum it would have tasted better, after i ate some of it i felt like i needed to rollover and have my tummy rubbed before i chased my stick. Won't ever buy from there again !!! stay away if you don't want to waste your money

Wonderful freshly prepared food with beautiful flavours . Hakim and his staff are very friendly. We always look forward to going there and experiencing the atmosphere and of course the gorgeous food .

Great for eat in or takeaway. Great offer 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 rice, 1 nan for £21. Has become my main go to, and friends and family have all enjoyed it to :)

The best curry in Northern Ireland. Great staff and a great chef. The food is always perfect and as I mentioned its possibly the best curry ull find. Donaghadee is lucky!
