Nice breakfast and reasonably priced, shame you have to pay extra for a tomato

The meals were exceptional, and the portions generous. The welcoming ambiance made it a great spot for any occasion.

I’ve been here on many occasion but again recently for the first time in a while. Generally calm atmosphere. Nice food. Friendly helpful staff. I have a breakfast with a difference and some added extras. Unlimited coffee refill and of course, shot! Very reasonably priced.

All the Beers and Lagers are ALWAYS kept in Superb Nick. The Guiness and Shipyard Pale Ale are particularly EXCELLENT. The Staff are ALWAYS friendly and pleasant, which is a Trademark of the Establishment. Long May the High Standards be Maintained! 👏👏👏

If only in need of a bit of a refurb then food is always great. The staff are always friendly and the pub is always busy no matter what time of the day. 2 pizzas, basket of chicken, 3 chips and an all day breakfast with 4 drinks for £25 is the best value you are gonna get anywhere

Good. Great steak. And the half price deal was amazing. Kids had fish and chips other one had curry both said food was amazing. Boys had dessert and it was delicious. Would eat there again. Had a lovely brunch food was well cooked and delicious.

Although this is our local spoons I had never been in here. Only popped in so didn't eat here, quite surprised how light it was at the rear of the building it also appears to open onto the canal for outside seating. Staff were pleasant and place looked busy. Will definitely call back here.

The place needs BULLDOZING it's an absolute shambles the mash we was served was absolutely solid you am the people us customers stay away from you am the reason most people get food poisoning

Typical Whetherspoons frequented by the usual mix of friends meeting up & families looking for a cheap meal and hardcore all day drinkers. We stopped off during our walk along the canal for a quick breakfast the other day the food arrived in good time and was hot enough, plenty of variety that you can create your own breakfast dish as my wife did with her egg & mushroom on toast. Last night we found ourselves back meeting with family we've not seen for a while. Table service was quick enough although WE made the mistake of not changing the table number on the app when we moved inside to eat, however the waitress remembered us and found us inside (young blonde girl with tattoos on her legs, we didn't get her name but she is excellent) and ensured we got the rest of our order.

Often pop in for breakfast or a bite to eat. Friendly staff and fantastic prices. Coffee machine that includes lovely hot chocolate is an added bonus.

Food was average, the staff where great atmosphere was vibrant really enjoyed my visit...

I go here often with friends and the service is super fast. We always have a few drinks and food which the food is good of course. Overall and good place with lots of locals using it

Quite a relaxed place, no pressure.

Good staff, but not enough of them. They are pushed to the limits almost all of the time, causing frustration when trying to get served.

When I was younger, I went in here a few times, I'll be honest I really disliked it. Going back many years on, on a solo, now with my kids all I can say the STAFF make this. They are so engaging, service, food and hospitality is great. I went with the kids tonight and we found some "eggs" outside. Little did we know, cause we did, the manager and staff rewarded the kids with some chocolates. The lady that was waiting on us tonight was just lovely, all ways smiling and really encouraging to my daughter. Honestly, great team, great work and my opinion has changed at this place from years ago. Baring in mind alot of the staff are "young" for the want of a better word, they are just cracking. I've been to a few spoons and this is slowly becoming my favourite. Hats off to you all! May I add, drinks and food service through the app great, and good as all ways!

I assume the pub has fairly recently been redecorated as it seemed cleaner and fresher than the last time I went there. Had a traditional breakfast, which was fine, just the lack of choice on the coffee machines let it down ... No one seems to deal with them when the red light flashes. However, the staff were friendly, despite a little bit slow at the bar. It was quiet at first but started getting a bit busier by 11am.

Typical Wetherspoons, food was good, beer was good and service was good. Been going in for years and never had any issues really. Slight annoyance that the beer I ordered through the app was unavailable so they asked if I wanted to swap for another which was fine and they brought it straight over however the beer they swapped it for was a bit cheaper and they did not refund the difference...i'm not going to argue over a few pence though 🤣

Management got no control of there staff they do what they want. treat customers like they sooner you not be there and never no happier when place is empty they make you feel like they are doing you a favour serving you and sometimes down right abusive

Breakfast wrap looked like it had been bodyslammed and then cut in half. Bon appetite

I asked a lady staff member if I could borrow a wipe to clean the table , to the reaction - why can't you sit somewhere else. I said I'll clean the table - to which she replied , fine I'll clean it then !!! Bad manners

I didn't like the food, the presentation of food was just terrible, and food was not looking appetising on the plate either, it wasn't tasty. One of the meals, was a whole chicken breast on a burger! I was shocked. The food looked dry and boring! It looks like Iceland food to be honest lol 😆 and probably is lol. The price does not match the quality of food. Food is overpriced. Save your self time, Honestly regret coming here. I will say though its best if you just come here for a drink and socialise, not the food! Waste of money. Everything was just off, even the service, from till to waitress and worst of all food!

The place was freezing cold you couldn't take your coat the heating problem has been going on for over a year and still isn't fixed people were complaining about the food standard which has really gone Down not worth going I certainly won't be going again it was warmer outside then inside.

Well! What a surprise! Have rarely been disappointed by a Wetherspoon as a "value for money" and good range of ales venue. However the Royal Tiger was exceptional on both counts. Great range of ales, well kept, and the food was delicious. The side salads were amazing. Fresh, crisp and flavoursome. As (almost!) always, the staff were friendly and efficient. Full marks.

Lovely spoons, smaller than most I have been too, lots of places to sit just placed very close together, nice outdoor seating near the canal, nice and clean.

Ordered medium to well done steak, OK to start with but 1/2 of it rare . No-one came to see if food ok. Brought it to waitresses attention, she went to enquire & duty manager said she had asked of food OK, which she didn't. Didn't come to see me. Just gave refund. Will not return.

Food was lovely, place was full, booked tables for fathers day meal for our group. Toilets need to be checked more and the flush on them are not very good in the lady's

When ordering a sirloin steak and chips whats happened to the peas? A single mushroom or grilled tomato would of done, instead I got 12 chips and a steak, sorry wetherspoons but I shall be going to the Star from now on. Only good thing to say is the staff were nice and friendly.
