Could do with more staff on match day

A good pub and reasonably priced when I last visited which was a while ago now would like to visit when City are there in April if away fans are still allowed that is is😅👍

Following the closure of a nearby pub, this is my new matchday pub. You may have to wait a couple of minutes to get served but it's usually not too bad.

Went to celebrate my birthday, hubby has allergy told them, food cone out with the onions and peppers, explained, meal come back out within seconds, onions clearly still there!! Not good at all, was told to email in, fake email of staff ...

Unfortunately had just around 30 minutes to spend in here. Staff were friendly, just as the other customers and the atmosphere was great

Quality beers 🍻 at a reasonable price

It's a decent pub this one and is only around the corner from Goodison Park. The John Smith's was also £2.25 which is pretty cheap so I cannot complain.

Watching six nations and gets turned of after half time. Okay for everton and none regulars, why support a sport that they don't support, watch it at home and not here

Lovely staff really friendly the locals all seem nice too, it looks like it's recently been done up as its really nice inside. I've never been in before so was really surprised how nice it & how lovely the staff are.

Cheapest pub I've been to 2.50 a pint. Friendly bar staff ,Loads of tvs and plenty of room

Fair play, it's rammed every home game but the staff are brilliant and the prices continue to be fair

Great atmosphere of a weekend...and very big screen to watch the match or any sport also multiple smaller screens situated around the pub makes viewing ideal anywhere you sit...and also reasonable prices

I went after the match scousers always friendly. I suppose it helped they won 3 nil

Go here before all home games. Need to sort card payment system out and also turn the music down a bit. All my friends like to talk football before the game etc yet music is deafening and you just can't communicate. Otherwise would be a 5 star review.. Many thanks

Great little pub with a nice beer garden best night is Sunday with karaoke Dave .Also you can pick up a cab no problem

Not the best selection of drinks and not much choice for the designated driver on the day but had an okay atmosphere post match.

I love this place it’s one of our three village pubs, nice cask beers and beautiful garden

Pub is closed ATM (March 21) and I was outside in the front. Can't wait to be back there again, when pub is open fully, and after a game at Goodison!

Went in sanitized hands sat down. One barmaid on, couldnt get her attention then when she sat down to chat to some regulars I left. Wont be back.

Nice biggish pub near to Everton FC, great for match days. Good range of drinks, reasonable prices and the wait to be served isn't too bad, even when it's very busy. Outside is a good place to sit when the weather is suitable and inside are numerous large TV's for watching sport. On non match days, there's a pool table also.

Perfekt pub for en forfriskende drikke i kort gangavstand fra Goodison Park.

Was always my fave pub on match days even at its busiest but is rather spoilt with some of the newer staff who don't work the bar properly. Manager, works bloody hard and does have choice of wines and even plastic wine glasses for match days. Great improvement of half pint plastic cups

Good pint and prices. Friendly atmosphere. But more of a "club" vibe after they included lighting and a dance floor which I don't really like. The people in there are always really nice to be around.

Very popular pub especially on match days as very close to Goodison Park home of Everton Football Club. Benches outside if you want to sit outside and have a drink or smoke particularly in the nice weather. Not too sure about prices or the selection of beers as I've not been in recently for a drink.

the first thing you notice is the smell of clean .. always a good sign no matter where you go. the second thing is ..tidy & well kept. Then the friendly bar staff and lastly the locals, equally friendly. A good old fashioned proper English pub with the modern essentials, juke box, massive HD tv , pool table , darts board etc etc.. Call me old fashioned but 10/10 for me.. Oops... the beer is unmolested too...cheers guys

Pre match pints. Don't know about the food or even if they do any. Plenty of serving staff and decent prices.

Can be hit and miss on match day if it's very busy, or just busy. Hard plastic cups served and hit and miss if you find a good spot at the bar for quick service.
