Always looks and smells very clean. Sadly don’t serve food.

Friendly staff and licensees. Great choice of ales, lagers etc. Highly recommended, especially real ale fans.

I always enjoy the oak, but last Wednesday, I was overcharged by £30, the first round £22 second round £52. I never notice as I just tap and go.

1st time there, really enjoyed the proper local pub atmosphere, friendly staff, friendly customers. 👍

Local pub, doing what local pubs do, looking after all the customers personally. Always a nice time with friendly patrons. comfortable seating, dogs allowed.

Lovely local, cozy pub. Beautifully decorated for Xmas and New Year. No cooked food as yet but a variety of home made/cooked beef, cheese and onion, ham etc. bread rolls/baps (lovely with a drink 😊). Great effort made with halloween and Santa's grotto for the children.

This pub is my local, so naturally I'm going to give it 5☆'s, however I've always said there is 2 pubs closer to my house, but I would still prefer to go to this one. Friendly staff & locals, great 6-7 ales 🍺 on every night. Regular entertainment. If you like great English pubs that haven't been taken over by the food industry, you won't go wrong with The Royal Oak. Couldn't recommend it anymore!

Quiz night is a great night. Neil and Mel really put in a great night 5 pound per team no prizes but sandwiches provided, great laugh great atmosphere small cozy pub how it should be

Claimed to be A real ale pub but was shocked to hear one bar staff say it was the wrong time year August to have stout or porter on! This is wrong wen to our next port ov call the bluebell they had Extra stout on tap.
