Gorgeous meal for my boys 6th birthday tonight. Service was brilliant everything was right considering we had such a large party. We regularly visit Monsoon & if you haven’t yet you 100% need to try it. “Best Restaurant of the year 2024” speaks for itself. Amazing thanks guys & congratulations on your award ✨

Called without a reservation after a day out. The service and food was excellent, as was the restaurant itself. I would recommend and will definitely eat here again.

Came here from the midlands to stay for night as we had an event. Always seek out an Indian restaurant wherever we go and we googled and this was coming up as best reviews and my god it didn’t disappoint!!! Decor was lovely! Staff were so attentive and service was good. Food was top notch!! One of the best Indians we have been too and we have been to a fair few in our time! We ordered the chicken tikka Balti and the chicken tikka bhuna both so full of flavour and the chicken pieces were huge!!! Chicken was so tender as well. Good value for monies food was piping hot and defiantly will be returning if we are ever in the area. Thanks guys for a lovely night!!

The Monsoon is the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to

Visited our favourite curry house last night. I one spicy hot food and ordered a am tikka saag (madras hot). Unfortunately it wasn’t hot enough for my tastebuds. I mentioned this and immediately my dish was replaced with a spicier version, my garlic rice was also replaced without asking. This is fantastic customer service. Looking forward to our next visit in 2 weeks time. Thank you for a lovely evening 👏👏👏

Sitting time for Christmas Dinner was moved, from 14:30 to 12:30 and then to 12:00. For which we stated we will be there at 12:30 having had enough of the times changing. My meal was not what was ordered, everyone else's was fine and they enjoyed their food. Then at 14:00 we were asked to move table for our dessert, which was not very good at all. We ended up leaving early for which the waiter said "You understand" around the moving of tables and sitting times etc. We decided to leave as we felt we were in the way! Never received our dessert or refund for not having it? So hope they "Understand" this review. My advice for Christmas Dinner is to book later or don't book at all. I won't be visiting again as I have done numerous times before. Their loss but I'm sure they'll "understand"...

Once again had the most fantastic curry tonight. Vegetable Samosa & Chicken Bhuna Masala Chicken Tikka, Thawa & Garlic Naan The staff go above and beyond and the food really is amazing.

Wow! Absolutely smashed it 👏 from starters to main dishes.... the only thing I would complain about is the nan as I'm used to a blanket size nan but that's me being a pig... I would just like to say that it was amazing but just not enough for me.

The food is absolutely amazing, the most delicious curry I had the k chi chilli moss with garlic rice. The staff made me feel so welcome, we will be back again and again.

The husband and I eat Indian food regularly and think we have been everywhere in the area and this is our go to date night curry place. A la carte style food. Every dish tastes unique and the service is spot on, always feel welcome and looked after. Recommend for couples or large groups. Still the best fine dining Indian restaurant in the area. Brilliant a la carte menu.

Tonight was exceptionally busy at Moonsoon, we were booked for 2000 hours and on arrival it was explained that the new online booking system had created more reservations than normal/expected. As regular customers we were politely requested to return at 2030 hours and to have a drink on the restaurant at the Museum PH which we were happy to do so. On our return at 2030 we were shown promptly to our table and provided with a complimentary drink. As usual the service was spot on and the food was top quality!!!!. Whilst sat at the table we saw a number of groups arrive and despite the restaurant being at capacity they quickly and professionally accommodated them. We look forward to returning to the best curry house in Newcastle in the next few weeks.👍

Went here for a family meal on Saturday 21st Sept after dropping family at Keele Uni. The food was excellent with some different from the usual choices. Was very busy but it was being very well run with quick service and time made for a friendly greeting from all the waiting staff. A little pricey but would recommend if you can afford a treat.
