Fabulous pub, great staff, great beer !! Atmosphere is excellent, customers very friendly and the staff are just Fabulous

Lovely little pub, constant rotation of a great selection of CAMRA beers and ciders

Cosy little gem in Newcastle with a vast selection of high quality ales, ciders and rums. The barman was attentive and friendly and took a great liking to the family dog! Beautifully decorated and everyone was friendly and up for a chat. Looking forward to coming again and trying new ales on the rotation!

Nice ales and cider. Good variety of real ales sources from top breweries with some unusual names but that's part of the charm. Good space for seating. Usual crisps and nuts bar snacks with addition of pork pies and chutney. The toilet facilities are in what used to be the kitchen. Large outdoor seating and standing area available for sunnier or warmer times. Friendly and attentive staff. Well worth a pint or 2.

Went for a drink with a mate here. Lots of great beers and a fantastic, old world atmosphere. There were even people playing board games in the back room.

An old side street shop turned into a pub serving real ale, cider and rum. A very friendly atmosphere, friendly staff and plenty of banter.

A bizarre little place a fine selection of nice beers ..the only downside they need more comfortable seats . although if they did I would go there too much. Plus beers in my opinion the beer temperature is spot on

Lovely local pub! Always a great and rotating selection of beers and ales (every time I've been in there's been something new!). The staff are and regulars are very friendly. This place is CAMRA award winning and it shows!

A great find, tucked away in Bridge Street, but well worth searching it out. As soon as we opened the door, a busy but friendly host shouted hello, as he poured the pints to a cheerful crowd. That set the tone for a memorable couple of hours, with every ale & cider we tried being a winner. The staff changed shifts during our stay, but both were engaging and cheerful. The place is packed with beer mats and quirky items, keeping those of us of a certain age reminiscing of toys once owned etc. A comfy sofa, great beers, friendly staff and a buzzing atmosphere.. it takes hard work to achieve it, so well done guys & thanks.

A place that serves quality beer but is mindful of its patrons budget. It does not price its beer astronomically. Love it.

Cute little beer garden out the back, the place looks like a royal mail but when you go in there's always loads of smiling people. I love the table with the games, and the bear mats all over the walls is kinda funny to look at when you're drunk lol but I loved it. Their cider tasted of lemon meringues. I don't know how but it was delicious 😋

One of the highlights of Newcastle-under-lyme town centre, a friendly welcoming and great place to wind down.

Lovely staff, amazing beers, great premises.

Went for quiz, found it quiet, cozy with plenty of seating, friendly, close but the layout inside meant over hearing other teams answers was impossible. Most quizzes fall flat in big spaces because the question master can't be everywhere at once. We'll be going back. Good selection of ales, I'm working my way through 50 shades of pale.

Probably the best pub in Newcastle. Very warm and welcoming with a fantastic range of beers I really can't fault the place.

A really warm welcome whatever the weather! Bridge Street is somewhere to meet up with friends - and make new ones. 'Grum' and his team are very welcoming, and really knowledgeable about their ever changing selection of guest ales. And for non beer drinkers like me it has the best and biggest range of visiting ciders, both traditional and more modern. Everyone is made to feel that it's their local, even on their first visit. Oh, and it's dog friendly too, has a beer garden and no loud music.

Terrible place. Arrived at 1615, encouraged to drink beer, which unfortunately tasted wonderful, even had a rather superb burger delivered from the Jug. Which meant I didn't have to move till I left St some point after 1030. Terrible!!

Great pub with plenty of tables and selection of games to play. Situated in an old Georgian building that retains a lot of the original features.

Real ale and cider at their best. Still keeping up their quality Different ales every week and always a good chat with the punters. UPDATE...now a sunny beer garden has been created to go with a great selection of chilled ciders. Highly recommended.

Great experience at Bridge Street Ale House yesterday. Large group of us called in for refreshments. We were looked after from start to finish, cosy feel to the place & a great choice of beverages. Highly recommended

It's a pub full of legends and stories of dragons, pixies and pump clips. You'll find no finer place to drink than this, with it's ever changing selection of beers and ciders. Get your pirate on and drink rum whilst sampling pickled eggs in a bag of crisps.

Absolutely loved this place!! The vegan cheese board is incredible soooooo many gins and rums and vodkas unusual choices lots of different tonics and a good selection of real ales beers and ciders. The staff are a lot of fun great service all round!!

Atmosphere was brilliant. Bar staff were incredible and amazingly knowledgeable of the ales, ciders, whiskeys and rums on offer. The staff couldnt do any more than they already do to help you pick your perfect drink.
