Encantador pub amable, el centro de Southampton fue para el desayuno, buena comida bien preparada y un buen tamaño. Sin duda recomiendo 👌

1st time for Sunday lunch.... whitebait and roast beef, huge, honey parsnips, red cabbage, green beans, carrots, cauliflower cheese, stuffing balls, Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes. Beautifully cooked and hot.

For just £7.50 including cuppas (at time of writing), The Rover Inn's Full English breakfast is excellently priced, and tastes great. Two eggs, two bacon, two sausage, black pudding, mushrooms, beans and plum tomatoes, meaning juices left over to mop up with the slice of toast included. Top it all of with the friendly and helpful staff, and it makes a place I'll definitely be having breakfast in again.

Popped in for breakfast and a pint, really impressed with the food and service. Really good value for money.

This place is super and super friendly, nothing is to much trouble, food is adequate but improving all the time,, Very nice place to spend some time,, morning coffee, lunch or early diner,, with new owners since September 2019 the change and improvements are outstanding,, well worth a visit we will be making it our local and only four pond each for a pie, mash , two veg and gravy,, real value for money rarely seen now days..

Came here on a Friday with my family for a few drinks, it is a nice pub looks nice and staff friendly and very adhering to the social distancing rules with plenty or protection around. The drinks were a bit pricey! Apart from that good atmosphere not a bad place to drink!

I was only seeking a coffee on a cold morning when I was waiting for my car to be serviced. I'd looked at a couple of cafés etc along the same stretch but, to be honest, they didn't look too appealing. I went into this one...it was clean, well decorated (newly-so, I suspect). Perfect wifi signal, nice coffee and friendly - in fact outstandingly friendly - staff. The landlord even pointed out that there was a re-charging point right by me if my iPad needed a boost. Toilets were immaculate, too. In the end, I had two coffees - very nice they were and they were incredibly cheap, too. So, not a normal visit to a pub but I was exceptionally impressed. Congratulations!
