Went here on a casual first date, the service I experienced was very good, staff were very friendly and helpful, keeping our table clean and checking up on us. Food was great, I don’t usually like kimchi but the kimchi here was the best I’ve had, side dishes were great and the barbecue experience was fun. Lastly the atmosphere was nice, kpop was playing and my fave songs were coming on. Overall very pleasant dining experience. Thank you to the staff and will definitely come again.

Best wings in Southampton! Looks very unassuming from the outside but the quality of food is fantastic. The Yang Nyeom wings are incredible and worth a visit just for them. Lots of other great noodle and side dishes on offer too. BBQ is also good, though the portion I felt was a little small, as is the table with not enough room for all the dishes if dining with 4.

It was my first time visiting, and I was surprised by the friendliness of the staff and again by the taste of the food! This place is Jjin!! I ordered beef bibimbap, cheese tteokbokki, fried squid, half and half chicken, and black bean noodles, and it was all really delicious! I heard that the stew here is delicious, so I'll definitely try it next time!

Reservations required on weekends! When I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted by all the staff and shown around. The food was plentiful and delicious. The food was served quickly and the staff were very accommodating until the end. I'll definitely be back next time.

Went here at the weekend and tried one of their set menu bits. The bulgogi beef and pork belly were fantastic and the wings were mind blowing!!

This was some of the best Korean food I've ever had! The wings were succulent and coated with an extremely tasty sauce. I also tried the barbecue, and I can say with confidence that the meat was tender and yummy. Above all, the staff were very welcoming, making it feel like I was back home. Would rate it higher if possible.

It's a Korean Cafe/Diner, we opted for the self cooking table where you cook your own meat and ordered some other dishes cooked in the kitchen. It's very popular, mostly with Koreans , but they're very welcoming. It's well worth a try. Love it.

It is already quit good Korean restaurant you can find in Southampton. Fried chicken and kimchi rice cakes are both sweet tastes. The kimchi fried dumplings is not recommended. I feel that the tofu soup is quite delicious. It contains tofu, kimchi, and a little bit of seafood, with a bowl of rice. Although the soup looks red & spicy. In fact, it's okay. It's not that spicy. You can mix the rice with soup, it’ll be amazing 🤩

Very polite staff escorted us to our table. The food was good value and tasted great. Flavoursome without being too spicy. The atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried. A pleasant place for a casual supper.

We popped in tonight and had the most amazing meal. We ordered the ban-ban chicken, jjajangmyeon, cheese tteokbokki, rice and kimchi (we are big eaters as we exercise a lot!). The real stand out was the ban-ban Korean fried chicken (ban-ban means half and half so you can choose two sauces and have the best of both worlds) - we had the soy garlic sauce and Korean spicy sauce on it. The chicken was so tender and such a generous portion, whilst the sauces were packed with flavour without being too rich. The jjajangmyeon was also delicious and so flavourful - we've only ever had the packet stuff so this was a real treat. Finally, as a side note, all of the staff were so friendly and our waiter was delightful and chatted to us about k-drama recommendations, which was really cute ☺️ we will be back!

Our first time trying Korean food for our daughter's 5th birthday (her request!). The food was amazing, the staff were more than happy to help us order dishes and explain the menu to us and both kids polished off an incredible amount of food. The restaurant was busy all evening especially for a Tuesday so had a good atmosphere to it and no one minded the kids wandering around and asking questions. We'll definitely be back.

Very great Korean food. It can choose the BBQ or cooked food, and the Korean BBQ is very traditional and delicious, the beef steak and pork are pretty fresh. Highly recommended this K-restaurant.

The online ordering sucks never works

My sisters all gave me the Korean food opened by the Korean owner of Nan'an. The taste is very authentic and the service is attentive. They recommend the soft tofu rice soup, fried chicken, and LA pork ribs barbecue. They are better than what I eat in Seoul every week. Everybody wants to go woo woo

A very good Korean BBQ experience, brought back fond memories of my time in South Korea. The dumplings in particular were cooked very well, I particularly like the kimchi ones.

The owner is super friendly, the staff are also very attentive and helpful! The BBQ tables can sometimes be a little too small if you're eating with a larger group of people which can be a little annoying but I would still rate this place 5 stars. Loved the food each time! Highly recommend the tofu & seafood stew, the chicken wings and the bbq of course! 💕

The place was easy to find as it is on the high street. The food was cooked fresh and we had the lovely experience of cooking the BBQ Grill (A) ourselves. The waitress was really friendly and warm.The owner was exceptionally welcoming and kept checking if we needed anything. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Highly recommend it.

I ordered the yang Nyeom recommended by the waiter, which is fried chicken wrapped in sweet and spicy sauce. It is freshly made and very good, and the price is very affordable. The waiter's attitude has always been very good, and he also helped place the luggage and packing is free. Next time Bring your roommates to try it.

It's not easy to find a good Korean restaurant in the UK, but I'm happy that there's a restaurant like this in Southampton... 🤍 I really liked a foods I had here! I went here many times and had different kinds of food, all dishes were so nice ♡ And especially highly recommend the KFC here!

This was my second visit, and it was still so delicious!! I went with my foreign friends and ordered seaweed rolls, vegetable dumplings, kimchi bibimbap, vegetable japchae, cheese rabokki, and half-and-half chicken. Everything was delicious, and my friends all said it was delicious too. The owner and part-time workers were all very friendly, and I went with a vegan friend and asked for a request. Even though there were so many, I was so thankful that they all were accepted so kindly!! I will come again next time. Thank you♥️♥️♥️ (It is always crowded, so I recommend making a reservation)

Food is pretty good especially the chicken wings and self serve BBQ however the prices are high even compared to London prices and the seating is so close together it's as though you are having an intimate dinner with strangers.

I came here for my birthday last month and they have ruined fried chicken for me. This was by far the best I have had, crispy and fresh with a honey-garlic sauce that I crave. The only downside is that we had a few bad rib cuts when we ordered our KBBQ. However, that did not ruin the meal. If I were to return for the bbq, I would not order the ribs. I gorged and thoroughly enjoyed myself! 4* for the atmosphere because it was ridiculously warm, and the place does not have good ventilation. I will be back for those wings!

It’s hard to get a table sometimes because they’re always so packed. With that being said, it’s definitely worth the wait. I ate a Sundubu-jjigae here on a very rainy day and it made me feel so warm and comfortable. Not to mention the friendly service!

Oh my goodness, what an absolute gem of a place! We came here the night before my dad's funeral wanting some comfort food, and were blown away by everything. The fried chicken, and cheese rabokki were insanely delicious. We were served by Nick who was such a friendly sweetheart. I would travel from London to Southampton just to eat here. Amazing.

The food was superb, full of flavour and delicious, everything I hoped it would be and advice given was very helpful. I am so going back and highly recommend. Thank you for such a great experience. Edit: I returned last week (12th September) and it was even better than the last visit. I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff are so accomadating and work very hard. I will keep coming back until I've introduced all of my friends to Korean food, one of my favourites! Worth every penny. Thank you again for great service and incredible food.

We came here because my boyfriend was about to go on holiday to South Korea and wanted to try Korean barbecue for the first time. It didn't disappoint. We had beef, pork, chicken and veg all in one set, and everything was so tender and expertly prepped. This was by far the best chicken we've ever tried (a friend who recommended this place said the same thing) and we're definitely going to have more Korean barbecue in the future. Whilst we were having our meal we were already planning when we would come back. Our server, Nick, was amazing. He talked us through the entire thing and even gave us loads of recommendations including where to learn about Korean culture, food, and all that good stuff. The rest of the staff were so kind and helpful, and even though you could see they were extremely busy they were always ready to come over and help you even before you asked. Would highly recommend.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was left quite disappointed. Firstly, the prices were exorbitant, and the portions were surprisingly small, leaving me feeling unsatisfied. Unfortunately, the taste of the food didn't make up for it either; it lacked the flavors and quality I expected. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience that I wouldn't recommend, especially given the high prices.

This is the best Korean fried chicken I've had the chance to try, and the best Korean food in general tbh. I've tried to find places in London that could match it but have been unsuccessful so far. It's absolutely worth a 1.5 hour train each way to come to Southampton just for this restaurant. It's a 16 min walk from the train station. It can be quite busy so I'd suggest reserving a table on their website. The chicken is juicy on the inside and so crunchy on the outside despite being slathered in sauce. The sauce itself is amazing; it's sticky, savoury and sweet, and spicy if you want it to be. I've tried soy garlic, honey garlic and peanut butter and they were all incredible. Other recommendations would be the japchae, jjajangmyeon, gimmari, beansprout salad, kimchi and the tteobokki (or rabokki if you want it to be more filling)! The BBQ is great too, about what you'd expect. It's not the main event so there's only four meats but still worth a try. Service is fantastic. Our server made sure that a modified dish for my vegetarian friend had no fish cakes in it. He changed the BBQ grill paper without us asking and as soon as our water jug was empty, he brought us a new one before I even realised myself. They're happy to give recommendations and accommodate requests when they can. Cannot sing their praises enough, do yourself a favour and check it out if you're in the area!

This was our first K-BBQ. It was incredible and we will be back. Our waiter was amazing beyond words. Best birthday dinner.

A bit pricey, but fantastic and worth it. Extraordinary chicken wings. The wings I got were very saucy... But somehow simultaneously the crunchiest wings I've ever had.

It was really crowded and after looking at the menu I could tell it's because the food is relatively cheap. It was OK for the price. Bibimbap had really small amount of meat in it tho.

This shop is very good. To be the best Korean restaurant in Southampton. The food is delicious and you'll miss grilling. And there are quite a few Korean drinks to choose from as well. Every employee took very good care of us. Smiling, extremely friendly, impressed, would recommend.

First time eating Korean food for me and my gf, our waiter, nick , was amazing he took his time explaining us how the menu worked and the traditional Korean way for eating the food even tho the restaurant was full house , the rest of the staff were really friendly and with a nice smile. We definitely had a great experience I recommend the breaded squid rings , I tried most of the restaurants in Southampton and so far they are the best “calamari” I had in Southampton

The Korean bbq did not have all the Banchan that generally comes with Korean BBQ. It was overall yummy and the chicken wings were pretty good, however there was a little too much breading on them. I felt like it was kind of expensive as well.

I had some of the best food I’ve had in my entire life. The meat and the fried chicken were perfect, and the staff were lovely. First time having BBQ and the staff was extremely kind by teaching us how to use the grill.

The Bibimbap was so tasty and hot. We also had LA Galbi Ribs to cook on the table BBQ which were really nice. Service was great & friendly. I will definitely be back!
