Tomé el té de la tarde aquí y estaba delicioso! Los sándwiches no son sus típicos sándwiches de té, que fue un buen cambio! El personal era muy agradable y atento!

We have just returned from one night at this hotel, fantastic room, wonder staff, clean and comfortable accommodation. Many thanks to the front desk staff who were wonderful. Great location.

Fantastic. Honestly - really fantastic - all those wonderful reviews are true! From initial contact via 'phone through welcome to every member of the very helpful staff - all who seemed to be cheerfully adept at any task. Great room with very comfortable large bed, good shower and - my favourite Penhaligon's toiletries. Parking is available at a not unreasonable cost for central Bath. Did I mention that it is really fantastic?!

This hotel is a real hidden gem, situated 10 minute walk from the city centre in a quiet and elegant part of the city. We received a warm welcome which continued throughout our stay. The standard of breakfast was first class with a wide menu selection catering for every taste. The bedroom and bathroom were luxurious as were all aspects of the hotel.

We stayed for one night with our dog and were treated with the utmost care and respect. A fabulous room and breakfast, we left feeling well looked after and will definitely return. Thank you for such a lovely visit.

Made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped in. Great location. One downside was room 9 (which has been mentioned before) gets very hot. There is no aircon and the fan provided is obviously not as effective. Did not want to open windows as Bath's humidity can attract mosquitos in the Summer.

Stunning cakes and unusual fillings in the sandwiches - delicious! Would recommend. Very nice dining room with windows overlooking the park opposite.

The hotel is very specialised and different. The staff are very good and the location central to Bath. The room had the smallest bathroom I have every experience in a hotel of this quality. The breakfast was very good and upto standard. I would say it was not quite value for money but would like to visit under non Covid restrictions.

A lovely couple of days at the Roseate Villa in Bath. Great location- walking distance to all the central city sites and shopping . A clean comfortable small hotel with the best breakfasts ever and some very lovely staff. Only real negative was that the main dining room was being refurbished and closed off which I feel we should have been made aware of prior to our visit. Also would have liked to be able to come back from a long day sightseeing and have somewhere other than our room to sit and have a drink. It’s not a cheap option so if we went back to Bath would probably look around for a better value deal but doubt we could get a better breakfast!!

Perfect place to stay while hiking the Limestone Link trail nearby. Clean, well appointed rooms at a very reasonable price. Food was excellent and locally sourced. Highly recommended.

We had lunch at Wilks today and had a great experience. The four courses and various extras were consistently excellent and interesting in their own way. The menu hung together nicely with seafood starring throughout paired imaginatively with various seasonal produce. At such a small venue you know you're getting the chef's full attention, and this really showed as all elements were perfectly cooked and presented. The wine flight was well worth it with interesting and sometimes unusual (in a good way) wines complementing each course well. James was friendly and made us feel very welcome & we apprecated the informal feel. Would love to return in the future.

What you see pictured is, apparently, £27.50 worth of Indian food. We ordered just two curries online - adding on +£8 for king prawns with the bhuna. Arrived to be told there was a mix up with the website not sending the order; they had no knowledge of it and we had to wait for it to be cooked. That's fine - they apologised, and we were in no rush. We had, however, been expecting two excellent curries at almost thirty quid for just two dishes. What we recieved - I've got to say - is further evidence to me that, most of the time, you're better off just finding a decent Youtube cooking channel and doing it yourself at home. No king prawns, either.

Easily the only serious restaurant in Bath committed to authenticity. It takes dedication not to fall into the trap of complacency in an environment where you can probably get away with a significantly less than average effort (as is the case with most restaurants in Bath). They don't go easy on the spice either! There's no whitewashing of their dishes whatsoever. Enjoy!
