Family owned. The owner is lovely and the environment is wonderful. Live music sometimes too. There is a dart board and pool table to enjoy as well.

The best pub in Stortford for me, "Home From Home" has good beer wines, and spirits, often a good band or Several .............. Upstairs bedrooms to let, at very reasonable rates, for the London Suburbs. Bang on the Town Center doorstep, and only a two-minute walk from the Railway Station. Stacks of restaurants and takeaways close by. I have been staying there on and off for around thirty-five years or more. You won`t find better. Enjoy.

Been coming to the Rose and Crown for upwards of 10 years now. Great pub to come and see live music, and VernFest is a fantastic event showcasing lots of local talent. Julian and his team work hard to support live music!!

Visited the pub 11th march to see friends band and had to cut short our evening as there was a group of travellers starting trouble with everyone. We won't be back which is a shame as our friends band are back there soon.

Friendly welcoming staff and dogs allowed. Close to bus and train stations and just out of the way of the Xmas shopping crowd. Good spot for some relaxation.

Pub located near Bishops Stortford railway station. Quite small inside, gets very busy Friday and Saturday nights when the pub has music. Mostly live bands at the weekends, sometimes a dj. Staff are efficient even at their busiest times.

The Rose & Crown is a great find, a little pub with a huge heart that's pumping with rock, with fun welcoming staff and great clientele.

Has a lot of locals who tend to look at you funny if you walk in on a normal night. Quite friendly on a band night but very loud. Not a massive choice or beers, no craft ales or hand pull bitters but it is only a small pub.

Good old boozer. Great owner that puts on great live music. It's the place to go in bishops stortford to watch a band. Stays open late and has a good range of beers + an awesome jukebox for when the live music stops.

This is a live music venue offering very high standard music from well known bands as well as featuring local up and coming groups, the entrance is free.

Thee best "real" pub in Bishops Stortford . Great staff friendly environment and the most fantastic live bands in the town. If you want a Towie wannabe free environment and a great night out go to this pub. Also hosts the annual vern fest which is just brilliant !

If you like live music as opposed to the normal offerings of karaoke or disco, then this is the place to go in Stortford. As well as providing weekend entertainment this pub also hosts outside music events throughout the year, most notably Vernfest which is held over the May bank holiday. Check it out but be warned, it gets loud and busy as the pub is small. No food on offer but there are plenty of food outlets nearby.

No es el tipo de pub que suele ir a una hoguera... poco y aserrín"... pero a menudo tienen una banda, así que cuando me vaya. Es un poco estrecho para bailar, pero si está ocupado, el ambiente es bueno y las bebidas son baratas. Está todo un poco viejas, especialmente los servicios, pero si hay una banda decente!!

Jules y Steph saben como organizar un espectáculo! Pequeño local así pero este pub tapones para los oídos, ha sido un favorito mío desde hace ya varios años. Que no os asuste el encargado, él no bocado!
