Good food, friendly service, with nice back garden and play area for kids. Very close to lovely forest walks (with bluebells in spring!).

I absolutely loved it here ,lovely staff food was out of this world ,fish was divine ...Will definitely come back .xx thankyou ♥️

Had a family roast on Sunday which was by far the nicest roast around! Great portions, great service. We are in the newly opened dining hall and it was beautifully presented, the fire was roaring and gave a cosey atmosphere! Will definitely return :)

Went to The Roebuck today for Sunday lunch with my family. Excellent!!! Best roast ever. Excellent food, beautiful surroundings, first class service & good value. Children & dogs welcome. Very relaxed atmosphere.

totally useless. left some of my kids shoes there. called and they found them - went to pick up and they were gone. house keeper said she left them somewhere but obviously a staff member must have nicked them and the owner refused to replace.

Rustic, warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. Plenty of parking and seating available and well stocked bar. Lovely visit overall.

We eat here quite regularly as it’s local to work. Great varied menu for pub/bistro type dishes. We also had the annual Christmas party there for the team which is always really well received. Good food, nice traditional country pub and super friendly staff.

Xmas dinner. Very enjoyable, good food and great service. A pleasant day. One small issue, no sprouts with Chestnuts which was part of the menu! Apart from that I would recommend it.

We had our wedding here last week and the team were absolutely fantastic! They consistently checked in, made sure we had drinks and transformed the room throughout the day - no job was too much for them. The function room is affordable and everyone complimented on the fairy lights, the decoration and the space available. Jess was great throughout the whole process, checking in and making sure she had everything to help the day run smoothly. I'm so glad we found this location, we had the perfect day!

Very unfortunate visit. Food was good, prices were ok, service was extremely slow. Single walk-in customer, at every step of the service I was left waiting for ages, apart from the moment I began to eat. Then every waitress came to ask if I’m ok. After missing my first bus because of slow service, ordered coffee and desert (next bus was in an hour) desert never arrived. Heard plenty of apologies and was charged for desert I never had.

Lovely old pub with super, friendly and welcoming staff. Food was good and moderately priced. Just wish they hadn't sold out of bubble-n-squeek.

The service in the bar is appalling. No body seems to be in charge and I was told that I would be served in two minutes three times and then when the . young lady finally emerged she served someone else. When I eventually got served I was then told that the beer was off and nobody was available to change the barrel . Very bad 👎

Popped in today for their 2 courses for £16.00. Had ham hock terrine which was THE best I have ever had with salted bread, divine!! Main course butternut squash lasagne so tasty ! Louis served our table and was very attentive… I will be visiting again hidden gem !!
