My first time at the Robin Hood, hopefully won't be my last - it would be my 1st port of call if in the area. Good car parking arrangement. Food was excellent- would recommend the homemade pie to everyone. I was delighted to support a community pub.

The staff were very helpful, finding a way to seat six of us away from the outside (too cool) or the conservatory (too warm). They provided excellent service throughout. Also, the food and drink was superb too! It all made for a great evening.

A long term favourite of mine, the Robin Hood is a village-owned pub and has recently acquired new management with the village being more involved again in its running. This comes with a new menu all of which looked really appetising and a nice change from the sausage and pie-based one previously in place. We had a few decent pints and dinner - my battered fish and chips was fantastic - super fresh and tasty and the ginger puddy was to die for! Service was friendly and efficient. We sat inside as the weather was a bit chilly but I know that the Robin Hood has a huge garden area and is the perfect place to head when the weather is fine and you want to sit out. We were treated to the story of the fossilised dinosaur thigh bone which sits in the fireplace of the bar. This is genuine and was dug up by a local farmer many years ago only a few yards from the pub - and after a brief stint in the local musem has sat in the fireplace since! How many pubs can bost a dinosaur bone? It's worth a visit for this alone!

What an absolutely great place !!! It was a pleasure to go for the very first time today. We went for my son’s birthday and there was 15 of us plus a toddler. The staff are so friendly and warm and they tried their best to accommodate us and our many requests. The venue is amazing such a huge garden the kids were able to go out and play football and enjoyed seeing the fish and the birds. The outside space really is vast ! The toddler enjoyed the little park too. The food was great some of us had Sunday roast which was good and some had burgers which were also good however the pies were amazing !!!! Would highly recommend anyone gives This place a go! Thank you so much for a lovely meal and lovely service Hope to see you again Friday !

Popped in on the fly with our two kids after a weekend of travelling. Food as absolutely faultless, brilliant garden area and play area my kids love running and playing. The fish pond and horses really add to the beauty of this charming place. Lastly we were served by Fred and can't say anything bad, he was friendly chatty and just all round helpful and nice. Would quite easy travel the distance again and probably will in the near future.

Nice meal on Taco Tuesday. A good choice of beef chilli, chicken in a spiced tomato sauce, and the veggie option of mushroom and chard. All served with corn and flour tortillas, guacamole, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, hot nacho cheese, and a bowl of seasoned chips. What more could you want?! Beer was good, Brakspear bitter and Estrella, and so was the coffee. Service was swift and friendly which always adds to a great experience. Sadly, the place lacked atmosphere though with no music playing and seeing as we were the only 2 customers in the place it did need some other noise, although they were expecting a full house of diners after we left as well as the local skittles teams. I'm sure it got lively enough from then onwards. I would go back and recommend to others.

I spent a weekend here at a biker rally in the fields behind the pub. It is a quaint village pub owned and run by the villagers. Beer prices weren't too exorbitant, though not cheap either, and they had a good range of choice. They have an interesting menu of small bites which can be cobbled together to make a varied meal. A little trendy and expensive for my liking. They did supply a biker menu for the weekend at £10 across the board which worked out quite costly over the course of the weekend. The staff were warm and welcoming, ever pleasant and efficient. It is well worth a visit.

Had another fantastic evening at the RH Bubble this week. Jon and his team have created something truly special and unlike anything else we have locally. Service is always friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. The small plate sharing style means you can try lots of different flavours, adding extra dishes as and when you fancy. Hard pushed to pick a favourite, but popular with us is the BFC chicken, Aussie Prawns, beef tataki and cured salmon. Oh, and cheese. And the puds.

If someone orders a BURGER for delivery. Try making a BURGER NOT A CHEESEBURGER. How hard is it to cater for people who can't have dairy? ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS IN THE ORDER NOTES. DO BETTER. never going back AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE IF YOU HAVE A DAIRY INTOLERANCE OR ALLERGY. the council have also been contacted regarding their allergen control.
