Five Akhi's in Milton Keynes

Was greeted by Ismail lovely chap Got the bbq sweet one and it was amazing would deffo come again to try other things.

Got takeaway from this place because it had good reviews on google and was excited to try their burgers. Got butter milk fried chicken in a burger and it was one of the most dry burgers I’ve ever had! The chicken colour was dark, you could tell the oil was old and it was overcooked. PS: the coke alternative, “Kinza” is sickly and purely tastes like sugar.

Newly opened branch in birmingham ! do not recommend at all. Staff have no customer service skills , very unprofessional wait time for a burger is like 1 hr 30 mins. Shop literally stinks. Ur staff need training !!

اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ. I recently visited Five Akhis with my husband and young children, hoping for a pleasant family meal. The food itself was genuinely good, MashaAllah. I ordered the El’ Pape burger, which was well-seasoned and juicy, packed with lots of flavour. The cheesy fries were indulgent and satisfying and the Lotus Biscoff milkshake was rich and creamy. To top it off, the Buddha Blue mojito was refreshing. In terms of food quality, they delivered. However, what utterly ruined the experience was the atmosphere. It was completely unsuitable for a family setting. As soon as we walked in, we were hit with really loud, thuggish rap music blaring through the speakers. This is deeply disappointing, especially considering the restaurant’s name, ‘Five Akhis.’ This name sets the expectation that the business is run with Islamic principles in mind, fostering an environment suitable for Muslim families. But what we encountered was the opposite. The atmosphere felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant to be completely honest. There was no modesty, no consideration for families and no reflection of Islamic values whatsoever. How can there be barakah in a business that disregards the very values its name implies? The Prophet Muhammad SAW said: "When Allah blesses a person with wealth or a business, and he uses it in ways that displease Him, that wealth becomes a curse rather than a blessing." A restaurant named Five Akhis should be a place of warmth, family and community, not one where families feel out of place due to inappropriate music and an uncomfortable atmosphere. If they truly want success in dunya and akhirah, they should remember: "And whoever fears Allah, he will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect." To be completely honest, I cannot recommend this place for families or anyone looking for an environment that aligns with Islamic values. If you’re just after food, you might enjoy it but if you care about where your money goes and the principles behind it, I’d think twice before supporting a place that misuses an Islamic identity. May Allah guide us all. Ameen.

Was in Milton Keynes so thought I'd get some food for the family for if tar upon arriving home 2 portions of chips were missing and 1 of the tenders from the kids menu so only had 2 tenders unfortunately live 45 mins away o coukdbt just cime back should have checked the order but didn't expect 2 portions of fries and a tender missing. Food was lovely just disappointing the staff doesn't check the orders.

Best Burger In The UK. I've had many burgers across the UK and this one is something different. Its similar to the burger from salt bae (burger shop) in Istanbul. How the meats cooked to a medium rare and seasoned to perfection. So happy there's one opening soon in Birmingham

The gold standard in burgers. Using freshly delivered daily 21 day dry aged Angus beef, the difference in taste between here and other burger places is levels above. I just wish we had one in London!

Decent food, not worth the wait. Ordered a meal but was told to wait 30 mins. Understand that it’s a popular place in MK as there are limited alternatives but I think 30 mins is excessive. Staff didn’t mention that my meal came with a free can, they left it to me to ask them when I checked the bag before leaving. Burger was good but I wouldn’t come back

I've recently started traveling in to MK from hertfordshire regularly for work, I heard about this place through friends and thought i'd give it a try. The Service is very good and so is the food I've tried 2 different burgers and chicken strips all delicious. Probably the best gourmet style food I've had. FAO owners, please open a restaurant in stevenage, hitchin or st albans please.

Part of the top 5 burger places in mk .Expensive stand alone burgers ,but they are juiced up like my bum after a leg day .well worth the wait .one negative could be that there was a tad bit too much sauce on the burger.id recommend !

Visited this place on our way home to East Midlands from London. Location was great, not too busy, the seats were all full inside though (they only have like 3 tables) which was fine as we wanted take-out. There is a lot of street parking, the surrounding area is nice. Between ordering and to eating our food I would say we waited approximately 15-20 mins, which is not bad at all. I ordered the blazing bird burger which was absolutely delicious! It was the right amount and size. I would come here again for sure and maybe try their beef burgers next time.

Not only the best burgers and fries in Milton Keynes, but very likely the best in Buckinghamshire! Highly recommended, the Chicken Tenders in Buffalo Sauce are next-level and the El Pape burger would likely be my Death Row Meal...have I mentioned the Truffle Fries yet? Get yourself here, these guys make the most amazing food. It's not cheap - but then quality isn't cheap!! 5 Stars all the way, keep it up!!

I recently dined at Five Akhi’s in Peartree Bridge, Milton Keynes, and was thoroughly impressed. The burgers were exceptional, particularly the Juicy Lucy, featuring a 6oz patty with a melted Gouda cheese center, caramelised onions, double cheese, gherkins, house mayo, and mango relish.  The wings were equally delightful; I tried the Honey Garlic wings, which were sweet, garlicky, and left me wanting more.  The family-owned atmosphere added to the welcoming experience. I highly recommend Five Akhi’s for anyone seeking quality gourmet burgers and wings in Milton Keynes.

Drove up there yesterday from London. It is as good as the hype. The food was great. Burger was quality and the truffle chips work great. The icing was great service. The brothers were very accommodating and friendly. Cannot fault it. 5 stars from me. They defo need a bigger venue clearly a bigger demand

We happened upon Five Akhi’s by chance, and I’m so glad we did! The food was delicious, earning a solid 5/5, and the customer service was friendly and efficient. The menu offers a variety of great options, and our meals arrived within 10-15 minutes of ordering. The restaurant is small with only a few tables, and on colder days, it can get a bit chilly near the revolving door. Parking is limited, but there are some off-street options nearby. Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended!

If I could, I’d give this place 10 stars. The guys behind the counter are very friendly and helpful. Such delicious food I can’t even begin to explain, and the quality is through the roof. If you like savoury and sweet combo’s, this has it nailed. Mixed up classics? Smashed it. A walk on the spicy side? Naga has you going beyond your limits. But it’s 100% flavour spice, zero chemical! Just incredible food seriously, and so consistent. Every order is spot on. Portions are surprisingly large for the quality and price. I honestly will not go to another burger or chicken place again. I’ve enjoyed every bite yet again, I’m totally stuffed, and yet I’m already thinking of my next order! They even threw in a free bonus naga sauce for the missus to try! What a top bunch! 🤜🏼🤛🏼

A quick stop off from London to Five Akhi's. I was reccommended the buffalo wings with a selection to choose from. Honestly, they were soo tasty a great meal as it was lunch time. Thank You to the staff for the care and attention to the food as it was top tier, high end food for sure, amazing job.

Delicious burger, with very good quality meat. I had the OG Classic and would recommend it . It was very juicy and fresh. The shake was also very good ice cream. Staff was super nice and friendly. I will definitely eat here again.

I went here with my family of five and we ordered three of their smash burgers and two of their chicken burgers. We also ordered their garlic honey and BBQ chicken wings. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food itself was 10/10 and both the beef and chicken choices were amazing. Will definitely be returning!

It took me 25 minutes to write this review, because the thought of tasting that burger again had me literally lost for words.... The brioche bun was toasted perfecty with a slight char which gave it the crisp/flavour you're looking for - held the burger from start to finish!! The burger itself had some great depth & exactly the right texture which gives it that seal of approval. The Sweet potato fries were of an excellent quality and we were greeted & served with such warmth. Price is normally a big factor in my food reviews but in this case don't fuss, spend what you need to here as you won't get a burger or dish like this from Percys or smash burger. Realistically in this economy it's not even that much... HANDS DOWN BETTER THAN 5 GUYS. And they've started doing loyalty points 🥲

I have tried 5 Akhis a number of times in Milton Keynes and Northampton, i love the fact the menu is quite small and rarely has any changes. These guys truely focus on the quality of food which is always very high. The burgers are really well presented and tasty. The wings and tenders for me are the stars though, some of the flavour combinations are amazing (try the el pepe for a sweet and slightly spicy). If you havent tried yet, you need too.

Extremely tasty burgers, which are on the pricier side however are well worth it. If I could rate the burgers alone it would be 7*. However wait times are super long for a burger joint. Waited nearly an hour for our orders to even be dispatched for delivery. I have dined in with a pre-order before and still had to wait 45min. This has happened every time I have ordered or dined in.
