The Rising Sun in Thurrock

Was here for the Euro 2020 final. Staff were great and worked really hard. They kept everyone topped up with booze. Hope they got a bonus for all their effort!! I was sitting outside and, to be fair, it's a pretty good setup! However, one star lost for the seats not being comfortable enough! 2 hours of gameplay and penalties was too much for me! Or maybe it was my big a r s e....... ;-)

I had a lovely time with friends, very welcoming venue.

Nice Pub, quiet and with atmosphere.

My 2 friends and I went here after another pub in the area. It was a relaxed atmosphere with good music and friendly staff and other pub goers. Will definitely be returning

Best pub in the area by far. Nice welcoming atmosphere, good selection of beer & whisky, pints are always brimmed and dogs are allowed in. What more could you possibly ask for 🤷🏻‍♂️

This pub is unlike the others in the area, the others have their good and bad points but this one seems somehow i dunno cosier, like it could be somewhere else, a rural pub rather than the just off the high street pub it is. A friendly atmosphere, good for real ale too.

A bit spit and sawdust but a real ale pub and the beer is good depending on which beers they have. If you are a real ale man this is the pub for you. .
