The Restaurant Hub, Swansea in Swansea

Been coming here for a while now and never complained. Fish was always beautiful and lots of cod in batter. But this time, there was hardly no cod and was just all batter. Such a shame,

Fish was thin to non existent, all batter and batter bits. Chips were scrag ends, plate too small to eat from without extreme care of losing chip scraps over edge of plate. Extremely disappointing and not worth the money, will go to a proper fish and chip shop in future. Avoid

There are no vegan options!! It is one of the worst places to go as a vegetarian or vegan. Unbelievable and disappointing for sainsburys.

As per description “The Restaurant Hub in Swansea offers a variety of different cuisines from Caffe Carluccio's, Ed's Easy Diner and Harry Ramsden's”. But it doesn’t offer any sort of variety in vegan food! Nothing on overhead menu. When I asked the staff what vegan food they had they suggested beans on toast. I didn’t fancy that so didn’t ask if the bread and margarine were vegan which legally they must be as I requested vegan food! Instead I had a very nice vegan carrot cake which was prettily decorated. They do plant-based coffee. But considering Sainsbury’s has a reasonable range of vegan food, you'd think the cafe's menu would be more vegan friendly. Staff are very polite, nice location alongside River Tawe estuary. Gave it a 2 rating due to lack of vegan food.
