Not my favourite pub, I would usually choose something quieter, but it's pleasant enough, good service and prices. Good if you want to watch sport.

been here a few times now on the weekend its shocking how many people are let in to just sit or stand in here without buying a a drink while paying customers have to stand up. surely the staff and door men can see whos just stalking and using the place to hang out to paying customers buying a drink

It's been 4 years since my first review, happened to go on a Saturday night out and had an awesome time, so will happily amend my 1star. My comments 4 years a go :Don't bother unless you want a poor atmosphere

Lovely food and excellent service

It is an ok place, not much variety with the music being played.

Avoid lost my phone and bag which contained my bank cards this place needs shutting down 👎 open from 8am for the pissheads place is a joke

change security. because when I went to complain that I had been robbed, the security guard laughed and kicked me out of the club.

Forgot cheese onions on garlic fries forgot bacon on the burger, the chicken on the burger was the smaller than a chicken tender all round not enjoyable at all. for the money paid the food is trash would rather of shot a pigeon and ate that. Did come on time so at least they do something right

Karaoke night, nice atmosphere....people getting up to have a sing... a couple of cheap drinks then had a wonder to have a few more drinks somewhere else.

Great staff and also great security made us feel so safe after an incident that happened that night I would highly recommend to anyone !!

Our favourite lunch time haunt. We only have an hour and Marie has always taken our pre order and without fail, it's ready for us with the table set. Food is excellent and atmosphere lovely and welcoming. Thank you Marie for making our lunches perfect. You're a diamond!

Not the best place for food my food was all dried up and the meat was actually plastic I'm not joking it was really plastic the staff was as friendly as my local funeral director and the beer was and looked like it was poured out of the canal

Super tasty and good quality cheese burger and chips, delivered courteously and on time. Would certainly use them again rather than the ‘usual’ burger choices!

No karaoke on a Saturday any more and ladies toilets up stairs.

Really good burgers for a good price! Fed 5 of us for just over £40. Great quality food and great packaging with sturdy boxes so nothing gets squashed. Food was wrapped in foil so was still very hot when it got to us. This is the second time we have ordered and will order again!

We had an excellent lunch here, really well cooked, presented and served. The staff are really helpful and polite. The atmosphere is comfortable, in fact, we could have stopped for dinner too.

Welcoming, was lovely atmosphere, good entertainment as we managed to watch the football and the horse racing. I’ve heard it’s brilliant on weekends! The food was fine, fast service. Only problem is how far the toilets are, but that wasn’t an issue as I was in comfortable shoes! Good location and great staff! Thank you for my grandads birthday drink! Will be returning!

The registry is not LGBTQ+ friendly!! My boyfriend is a transgender man (he’s been on testosterone for years, has a flat chest & a moustache!) and last night a security guard refused to let him use the men’s bathroom. This guard made a laughing stock of him in front of 20+ people - who all defended my boyfriend by saying they don’t mind him going in the men’s room! I’d like to know, would you like this fully grown man to use the women’s bathroom instead? no. He would be removed from there too. The guard chased my boyfriend up the stairs to stop him from using the bathroom - shouting at him and using intimidation tactics to remove my boyfriend from the stairs. This is absolutely disgusting! I spoke to another guard and asked where he expected my boyfriend to pee, as he was bursting at this point, and he was lovely and said he should use the disabled and that he would look out for him while he was in there. We spoke to a lot of other people about the situation - and all were absolutely mortified about the way he had been treated. You should be ashamed.

Nice town bar good choice of drinks all at a very reasonable price

Bar staff are lovely, dj plays his favourites only, shoes stick to the floor, not a pleasant night out at all. It was a lot better when it was yate's

After visiting yourselves and been served quickly and pleasantly I visited a number of other pubs....omg the service was appalling if not existent so I left them! Well done you and your very attentive and curious staff and door security.

The Registry has it all =, food drink and entertainment there aalways seems to be something going on here. Food is tasty, good portion sizes and great value for money. They have a good selection of drinks too, Plus theres always something happening with entertainment like karaoke, the weekly quiz and DJs We always enjoy our visits

Just wanted to say thank you to ther registry staff for being open for us to come together to watch the funeral of our late queen. the flowers and little keepsakes that had been made were a very nice touch and its not only this the staff at the registry always go out their way to bring the community together whatever the occasion so just wanted to give you some praise and say thank you

Two days ago I was drunk too much and fell on the stairs staff helped me though I ddnt want to listening to them but they were kind to me,they knew I was drinking too much . It was embarrassing am drunk and wanted to stay more but they were polite to me one bouncer and a woman escorted up to my home to make sure am safe. Registry is a safe place I will recommend to anyone but don’t drink too much 😂😂😂

Went to registry last night. Easy to book a table and the staff were very accommodating. Holly and Damian were really helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Great night made better by the staff.

We visited The Registry for drinks as a group of 4 just before Christmas, the drinks were reasonably priced and we had a good evening.

Nice and cheap with all sports and helpful.

I'm holding fire on this sullen overpriced suspicious place until I've eaten there at Xmas as a guest of someone else. It had better improve by then.

tried the sunday roast menu for the first time, sort of expecting the usual microwave style food but got to admit surprised .. FRESH FOOD no microwave and for the price it was better than you could get at a carvery .. recommended highly also great service from the staff

Menu is good especially as they have items that my hubby can have on his restrictive diet, so that's a big plus, karaoke nights are always good, friendly DJ, makes sure everybody has a go, drinks reasonably priced, well worth a visit

What a absolutely fantastic place we came up for the night to see a friend, we googled karaoke bars as we fancied a sing, am so grateful to Google as we had the best night ever, fantastic staff friendly doormen, and the DJ was brilliant, my friend is blind and everyone was just so amazing and made us feel so welcome, thank you Registry, would highly recommend this bar.

Waited over 50 minutes for food, when it eventually arrived it was burned. My 2 year olds bun was that stale it literally snapped in half. My partners chicken was in so over cooked it looked like beef. My mom ordered at the bar at the same time as me and her food arrived a further 20 minutes after ours. This was around 1230 on A Monday in a relatively empty pub.

I discovered this pub about a year ago. It used to be Yates and had a poor reputation. I was going to go to the nearby St Matthews Hall when I noticed a change of name and Cask Marque signs on the window. Being a Camra member and a Real Ale drinker ,I gave it a visit.It was a good choice. They only have two real ales, but give you a "beer card". For every eight you drink you get a free pint. Also if you show a camra membership card you get 30p off a pint.Plus the traditional breakfast at £2.99 is very good value.Bob the landlord is always on the ball about the quality of the real ales.

2 cups of tea very hot serves was very good place was very clean didnt eat or use bathroom so cant comment

Excellent service and great beer

On my way to watch Rushall Olympics vs Halesowen last Saturday I just managed to miss the 997 and faced a 30 minute wait for the next one. Saw this place just round the corner from the bus station to decided to give it a try. Had a very agreeable pint of ale and watched the rugby. Hours later having braved monsoon conditions at the Rushall stadium I went in for a post match snifter (also to try and get warm!) and watch the England match. Altogether a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon and if I'm ever in Walsall again I'll remember this place.

It was my first time there last night and it was good. I enjoyed the music and the vibe last night as I was really just looking for just the right chill. That reggae and soul vibe just was right for my mood last night. I hope it will be better when I come back looking for pop music night next time! And I loved the cocktails I got! Looking forward to have a good time there again!

Saw a fantastic match here Man City v Liverpool but then this pub at 9pm metamorphosis into a some venue on Broad street and a decent family pub, couldn’t even hear the commentary, best avoid if you just want to hear the footie and not a DJ blasting Ibiza sounds in your left ear.

Disgusting food, grumpy looking waitress... Steak taste burnt full of fat.. Won't eat here again worse meal ever had.

Called in for a quiet lunch pub is dead but theres music blareing girl behind bar took all her time to serve me when i asked for no ice she responded do you want ice. All the time she glared at me an when i questioned why the price i was being charged was higher than advertised she mumbled sugar tax i was then presented with smaller drinks than advertised .when i returned to the bar for another drink she avoided serving me i will not be returning im utterly utterly disgusted one plus point the food was ok. Oh and the photo is of a pint alegedly

Booked a private booth with T.V. to watch England v Sweden match. Great atmosphere, plenty of staff and extra bars were open, all very well organised. Staff are great, especially Deano who waited on the booths and provided first class service. Well done to the management and all staff for hosting this great event in style.
