The Redhouse Lilleshall in Telford and Wrekin

This is a favourite restaurant of ours. Many different seating areas creating a different ambiance. We were served by Maddie, who maybe didn’t have much experience, but joined in with our humour and served us well! The food, although increased in price since we last came, was delicious. Left over food, (1/2 of my pizza) was packed up and enjoyed the day after.

We had a lovely meal here recently and just had to leave a review. We ordered the Caesar salad, ranch salad, and the sea bass – all of which were absolutely delicious. The salads were fresh, crisp, and full of flavour, while the sea bass was beautifully cooked and melted in the mouth. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality and handled with care. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the service. Maddie, our server, was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout. She even took the time to apologise for a short wait on the food – which, honestly, wasn’t long at all – but it was a thoughtful gesture that didn’t go unnoticed. The atmosphere of the place was great too – relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for a chilled-out meal. All in all, a wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

We love The Red House and are never disappointed. We usually go for an evening, and eat in the bar area as we love the buzzy atmosphere. Lunch in the restaurant is still amazing and a different type of dining experience, but the staff are always friendly and efficient and the food has never let us down.

Staff are excellent, attentive and pleasant. Food was generally excellent, only slight let down was the hot rhubarb and orange pie with coconut ice cream. The pie was nice resembling a sweet pancake deep fried, but the rhubarb inside was over cooked with no texture and oozed out like a liquid when opened. Was it tinned rhubarb?, if so I'd suggest using fresh, if not maybe it was cooked too much prior to putting in the pie? Either way it was the only disappointment in an otherwise excellent evening.

Had a lovely lunch at the Red House and was really impressed! The food was delicious, well presented and arrived in good time. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. A big shout out to Ryan who served us -friendly, attentive and made sure everything was just right. It’s always great when the service matches the quality of food, definitely recommend visiting.

Ryan was really attentive and helpful during or order, one of us had a nut allergy which is always scary to deal with but Ryan made sure we were fully aware of everything. Will be returning very soon

Menu had a great selection with everything available. The service was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. We went at lunchtime and the place was quiet however, within an hour it was very busy and nearly full so I would recommend booking well in advance.

Food was poor , service was poor . Should have left when they could not get the drink order correct. Me and my brother had the chicken and bacon pie? It was more of a dry paste filling . The pastry was like cardboard. My wife had the sea bass which she said was nice . My kids complained about theirs but ate 60% of it . When they brought the bill there was food on it which none of us ordered!! They took off the £17 and I asked for the service charge also to be removed. The service was not up to the standard we received on previous visits. Was not busy last night so I do not understand the lack of service to customers. Had to ask the chef making pizzas to get us a waitress.

A fab place with a really good feel about it, a big place but full of cosy corners and booths. Great menu choice, good veggie options, the salads are gorgeous. Portions were generous and good value I think, didn’t have room for dessert !!

Made an impromptu visit with a friend. Staff at the Redhouse were very welcoming. We were seated quickly, even though we hadn’t booked a table. Food was excellent and great value for money and the service was excellent. We’ll be back

We visited the Red House early on a Saturday evening. Seven adults and one three year old! We were seated quickly and orders taken. Spookily six of us chose the pork belly and all agreed it was very good. Portions looked a bit small at first sight but were sufficient. Our three year olds food was only average quality for the price but was bought quickly so as to keep him happy. Ambiance was excellent and all the staff we met were first class especially Susie (?) who served us. I’d definitely return.

We booked to have a 89th birthday celebration meal at the restaurant and it was a delightful time with the family sitting around a table and enjoying the event.

Dined with here for the first time with my brother and sister-in-law who were visiting from Scotland. First impressions were excellent, the place was full with a wonderful atmosphere. Service efficient and the food couldn't be faulted. My only gripe was that one of our party had her meal served around 7 or 8 minutes after the rest of us (something to do with the sea bream) which isn't really acceptable as you expect meals to be served together. Would I return? Almost certainly.

We booked the Red House for a party of twelve for Sunday lunch to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday. We couldn't fault the experience! The food, service and ambience were all excellent. The waiting staff in particular were extremely efficient and professional and helped us all to have a memorable time - even down to the surprise arrival of a fountain candle! We would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant.

An absolutely wonderful place…… great food as always - the popcorn chicken is a personal favourite, it’s amazing!!!……the ambience is welcoming and cozy, and the service is always excellent!!!….As with all the paragon group venues, your guaranteed an enjoyable evening that will leave you completely satisfied……eagerly awaiting your next opportunity to visit again!!!!……and if you like Pizza…..they have a huge pizza oven!!!
