Service was quick and friendly. Food was very nice. I had the goats cheese and onion pizza. Beer was very nice also but a little on the expensive side.

We visited the Red House early on a Saturday evening. Seven adults and one three year old! We were seated quickly and orders taken. Spookily six of us chose the pork belly and all agreed it was very good. Portions looked a bit small at first sight but were sufficient. Our three year olds food was only average quality for the price but was bought quickly so as to keep him happy. Ambiance was excellent and all the staff we met were first class especially Susie (?) who served us. I’d definitely return.

We booked to have a 89th birthday celebration meal at the restaurant and it was a delightful time with the family sitting around a table and enjoying the event.

Lovely ambience, excellent service, all the staff are welcoming and friendly. Lots of options on the menu. I had the veggie Sunday roast, I personally wasn’t a fan of the mushroom Kiev but it everything it came with was delicious!

Great service, delicious menu of varied and cleverly blended tastes, healthy ingredients and sensible portions; all in all, great value.

Dined with here for the first time with my brother and sister-in-law who were visiting from Scotland. First impressions were excellent, the place was full with a wonderful atmosphere. Service efficient and the food couldn't be faulted. My only gripe was that one of our party had her meal served around 7 or 8 minutes after the rest of us (something to do with the sea bream) which isn't really acceptable as you expect meals to be served together. Would I return? Almost certainly.

We booked the Red House for a party of twelve for Sunday lunch to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday. We couldn't fault the experience! The food, service and ambience were all excellent. The waiting staff in particular were extremely efficient and professional and helped us all to have a memorable time - even down to the surprise arrival of a fountain candle! We would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant.

The Red House always feels special, no matter when you go. Benny looked after us yesterday & he was just fantastic - not just with us, but watching him with other tables too.
