The Red Lion pub & restaurant in Blaby

Normalmente salíamos a almorzar el viernes, pero esta semana, nuestros restaurantes habituales estaban llenos. Algo desinflado, de camino a casa pasamos por el León Rojo en Huncote y decidimos pasar por allí. Para nuestro asombro, la comida era absolutamente delicioso, comida casera real y precios muy razonables. El personal era muy amable y el ambiente del pub rezumó. No podemos creer que hayamos pasado por este pub durante más de 30 años y nunca lo hayamos probado. Sin duda volveremos.

Gran comida casera, gran precio y personal encantador, porciones de tamaño encantador. Gran elección de comida y cómodo pub. Volveré.

We visited here this Wed eve for our dad's birthday meal, the food is very good value, homemade and delicious. It is a shame that they only serve food Tues and Wed evening and weekday lunches, as difficult for us to usually go mid week. But would thoroughly recommend and hope to go again one day.

Been many times but not for a while, god knows why i go anywhere else, if you want proper pub meals and i don't mean pretentious crap that you get with many of the large pub chains come here, not a massive menu but enough for the good food connoisseur, fast ser vice in a nice country pub environment and extra special puddings, unbeatable.

Friendly village pub, good food at lunch time also serves food 2 evenings a week. Food is good value for money, home cooked options.

Went for lunch with a friend. Friendly welcome. Obviously loads of regulars. Wonderful menu of home made food. We both enjoyed different mains and puddings and all were lovely ingredients well prepared and presented. Excellent value for money. Try it.
