I think it's a nice place, decent beer.

Lovely and cozy, fantastic management and staff

Just called for a drink friendly and a nice drink

Went as an away supporter for Aldershot on Saturday before Xmas. Very friendly staff on duty, although they had no food, guided us to a great little chippie around the corner and were more than happy for us to bring the food back into the pub to eat. Not the largest of bars but would thoroughly recommend for a relaxed drink before a 10 minute walk to the stadium. As for the football.......fair play Chesterfield.

Very friendly bar staff had a great time & was made to feel very welcome.

Staff always friendly and helpful. Mostly visit in the afternoon so it's usually quiet. And it's also Dog friendly aswell. Can't comment on the food atm Because I haven't tried it.

Booked in for Sunday dinner family of 4 had the 3 course. The food was all fresh and home cooked or prepared for your meal. The pudding was fantastic 👌 Definitely return in the future

For football away good pub, friendly, bounces ok not pushy, takeaways 3/4 mins on way to the ground, about 7/8mins walking £15 to park car there we were told

We had tried everywhere, for a Sunday lunch, to no joy. Called in the red lion on the off chance. They had actually finished serving, but were very kind and served a beautiful Sunday lunch. Highly recommend. ♥️

Good night out at karaoke. Well organised and well run with loads of Mic cleaning and disposable covers for each singer. Felt as safe as it can be.

Was a decent little pub went on match day. Service was a little slow hence the 4 stars but other than that decent.

Held a little birthday get together here, staff were amazing and helped plan quite well. We couldn’t choose the music to our likings but what they could play wasn’t bad. Prices of drinks were good value. Thank you for your help we had a good day.

Pretty good like all the pubs on Whittington Moor I sometimes go in for a drink and the staff are friendly and the brandy is good.

What a lovely Sunday lunch. Proper roast potatoes,meat melted in your mouth and gravy really tasty! Great value.

Unable to explain the situation which as meant any occasion that I have tried to enjoy or use the place as a public house and enjoy the quit pint and only time I have had the serious problem regarding a person able to get anyone to make serious errors and not think the business and personal life of my own should manage to make the reputation and part of who may not seem a genuine person in Need of enjoying the part not in the place to suffer more annoying people or business lacking the time or reputation which it relies on as part it should offer to its Costners like any pub should be able to

Local pub, usually has a singer on at weekends, has outdoor seating but no play equipment for children, wouldn't say it's particularly child friendly
