Myself, my girlfriend 2 others visited this place on Friday night on walking in the smell of damp and stale water was shocking, there was a manky hand written sign on the door stating that the place was due to close in November due to retirement ! When we was shown to our table the smell was shocking there was damp patches above our table and it was clear to see vents had been installed to allow air to flow along the joists however this meant the stinking air was released into the dining area. On ordering drinks we was told certain drinks where not available which was not a good start. I have to say the food was not too bad but far from the best I have had. My girlfriend and her friend went to the toilets, which had no lights, where dirty and smelt dreadful nearly causing my girlfriend to be physically sick. I went into the gents and it was the same no basic cleaning had been done in my opinion for a long time ! I personally think this place is not closing due to retirement but more down to the fact it needs a lot of money spending on it and they clearly do not want to bother, the staff member who served us was only a young girl and said she did not take food orders and she was only there to serve drinks so we had to wait to have our order taken. It is a good thing that this is closing down as it is dreadful place to sit and eat. It cost us over £100 for food and drinks and is over priced in my opinion !

Always enjoy coming here. Food staff spot on. Pity they will be closing due to retirement in November. We will try to make another visit before then!! X

We thought we would try this & so glad we did,we hadn't booked but they gave us a table anyway,all the staff were very friendly & nothing was too much trouble,the food itself was beautiful.so we will definitely be going back.

A party of 13 of us enjoyed our birthday meal here. The Sunday set menu special deal is amazing value and everyone of us loved it. Copious amounts of freshly cooked food served piping hot. All tastes catered for( vegetarian)on request. Service was friendly and efficient and Carole the owner was the perfect host from the booking process to leaving after the meal. Would highly recommend. We visited the red lantern yesterday for a birthday meal and the food and service was absolutely spot on!! All the food tasted amazing and the staff were very polite. We ordered the B Banquet i think for all of us and it came with duck, ribs , seaweed , prawn toast , sauces and chicken. For the mains we all had a curry , I had the chicken curry and in my opinion it tasted divine and was the best chicken curry I’ve ever had. If your celebrating a birthday or wanting to go out for food or drinks , you should definitely visit the red lantern as it’s a hidden gem. We will definitely order from the takeaway menu there and eat there again.

Pre Theatre bite to be remembered. Service was respectful and efficient with very polite and efficient staff Food was delicious and sometimes a Chinese Restaurant can be a bit gloopy takeaway style NOT HERE Delicious and delicately spiced exactly to order and I did request tailored food and it was SPOT ON and DELICIOUS Can’t wait for the next excuse to travel to Burnley to return to the Red Lantern Possibly the nicest Chinese around

The service is friendly and courteous, we were made very welcome by all the staff and management, we were even very lucky to meet the head Chef, Being very Fussy eaters we asked for a couple of things not on the menu, and the kitchen staff excelled, We have been lucky to have eaten in some of the top Chinese Restaurants in the world, Well Burnley you are on the map , this place is up there with the best food I have tasted in a long time , Any one who can find fault with this food should stay at home and cook your self

Cant believe this place is still here after my last visit 24 years ago, why have I not been back in all that time. Its no real suprise its still going as its the best chinese food I have had in a long time. And the service was excellent! Will definitely return and not leave it so long next time. Would definitely recommend this place.

My partner and his parents visited here on Saturday afternoon...and we are so glad we did. Such a lovely quiet little restaurant and from the phonecall to book a table to us leaving after the meal the staff were amazing. Its great that the waitress asked whether there were any allergies they needed to know about before ordering. Such a friendly, polite and funny team! Whoever was working on sat 13th April, you were all great! We had a set banquet and the food was unbelievable 😍 There was something for all of us. For 3 out of the 4 of us who came it was our first visit to The Red Lantern...but it certainly won't be our last

What a lovely little restaurant in a quite part of the town centre, great balance of atmosphere being close enough to the main strip whilst being far enough away to enjoy a nice peaceful meal!! The food was just incredible and was served by an amazingly polite, friendly waitress who I believed went by the name Abbie, the service was just brilliant she made sure we had everything we needed and was a massive help. There was a very polite woman who welcomed us as soon as we arrived and extremely kind! we ordered a 3 course meal with drink for a UNBELIEVABLE price of £60!! which considering the amount we ordered was hard to believe very pleasantly surprised. Overall our 5****** experience was brilliant and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely restaurant.

You would easily miss this restaurant but it is worth seeking out if you want a great value Chinese. It is in the back streets of Burnley centre which makes parking easy. We went on Sunday when a 3 course meal is £15pp. Service was great and they are very accommodating of children. Food was nice, although it is not very authentic, and the presentation is rather c.1980.

We visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary on Saturday night and were both massively disappointed by our evening.The service was shocking, two verry young (underage) waitresses asking if we wanted anymore drinks every two minutes and interrupting our conversation once declined the offer for drinks she walked off to stand at a radiator with the other waitress and proceeds to have a rather rude conversation . When our starters arrived, we weren’t happy checked once , but during eating our starters a waitress interrupted us again to place our cutlery bedsides our plates for the main courses that was so rude . The combo I ordered arrived hidden under an entire meal that I didn’t order The combo was stodgy and thick with disgust and to top it off when. The food got brought out to the table the waitress “hanna” I believe laughed as she almost dropped it on the table mocking the quality of the food It was an even greater shock to receive our bill for £58...very expensive for a couple and a very disappointing experience with unprofessional staff. The bar looks like it hasnt been cleaned for months way to many candles being lit and burnt the manager was doing absolutely nothing bar sitting on her phone on facebook and the toilets was disgusting and shouldn’t be opened to the public there that dirty!! We have made the conclusion that the staff are urged to encourage the purchase of alcoholic drinks which are seemingly over priced.We won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend. A thoroughly disappointing way to celebrate a special occasion.

Visited with friends this evening and we all had the Sunday special, cannot daily a thing! Exceptional value for money, the food was fresh and hot and very delicious, we were all very well looked after and couldn’t fault the staff or the customer service at all, definitely recommend the Sunday special to anyone and would definitely recommend the restaurant, can’t wait to visit again.

I have been struggling to find a decent Chinese in Burnley since Po Sang changed owners and the Wok recently closed , this is now my new favourite , food was great 👍🏻

14 of us booked for a birthday do! Staff really lovely and accommodating, moving tables so we were together. The buffet deal was explained to us before hand. As we had been there before we knew what to expect. Copious amounts of different courses- all very delicious. Very good value for £15 a head. Excellent service and food and would highly recommend

Four of us came here for dinner on Sunday afternoon after a recommendation from a friend. The service was great from our welcome as we walked through the door right through to leaving. Really lovely attentive staff.

I visited with 11 friends and we all had a great time. A wide selection of dishes, all the food was fresh and hot straight out of the kitchen and all the staff were very welcoming and friendly. It was my first visit to the restaurant and I’ll definitely be going back with my family next time.

Let me start by saying this is definitely not an authentic style Chinese Restaurant, the surroundings are, the food is but apart from the Chef the people are not, however this does not matter one bit. The food is well presented and delicious, the service is on point and attentive as well as being unobtrusive and friendly.

Used to eat here regularly in years gone by. Not been for a while but was pleased at how tasty food was. Sunday banquet menu was good value and portion sizes. Loved the beef in black bean. Staff very welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Booked in advance. We all had the banquet c 22 pond per head. Prawn toast was excellent however we were not keen on the rest salt pepper ribs my husband said we're tasteless. The next duck was very good also the main courses. Overall good.

First visit here but definitely not the last. Excellent food and service. Good size portions and good quality. Best Chinese meal I’ve had in the area. Highly recommended

Popped in on Sunday to try the special banquet menu and we were pleasantly surprised about the amount of food you receive for the price. The quality of the food and the service was as good as we've had before and we'll definitely come on a Sunday again.

for a first timer very well well recieved. staff friendly food out of this world. red lantern is a real jem of a place. for me personally the only thing was the lighting could be better. i know they have to try and keep things as authentic as possible. everything else was just superb. certainly deserves more than 5 stars, and certainly would pay a visit again.

Attentive in taking your order and bringing drinks to your table. Very hospitable atmosphere and the food ,don't get me started! Whoever is behind that cook line knows exactly what he's doing, haven't visited for several years but the food is just as outstanding it was seven years ago. If your after a cracking Chinese this place is a hidden gem. Would recommend to it -anyone- as a total winner. Enjoyed myself immensely.

We had a banquet. Portions were large. All the dishes were hot and very tasty. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. What more could you ask for. Will be back soon.

Ive been here a few times and have loved it here every time, on our most recent trip here i was disappointed to see that one of the waiters (butterfly tattoo) wasnt there as ive always had her serve us. I ordered duck as usual which was delicious but i feel everytime i run out of pancakes quickly. The lady who served us this time seemed really quiet and not that confident but was lovely and engaged in polite conversation. I love that this business caters to everyone especially picky vegans like my friend but never fail to make her great food that she loves. Th red lantern never fails to impress.

My partner and I went for a Quiet Meal.... Very cold as soon as we went in, but the SMELL was Disgusting---Smell of Stale Rotten Food throughout, we were nearly SICK! We decided to just get a Starter... Waited 20 mins for the Drinks to arrive then nearly an HOUR for a Starter- we couldn't get out Fast Enough- Especially when we were overcharged too......

Visited on a Sunday again for the £15 buffet deal. Good value with more than ample variety of starters and choices of main meal. Friends/family that join us are also very happy with the food and service. Friendly reception on arrival.

I've visited here a few times, and always receive a lovely welcome. On this occasion, we were a party of five. Our table was ready for us when we arrived and the waitress promptly took our drinks order. She was also more than happy to give us longer to choose what to eat.

From entering the restaurant to leaving, the evening was brilliant. The restaurant was busy but not overcrowded and the layout of the dining areas with it's subdued lighting created a friendly, relaxed and quite intimate atmosphere.

All squashed round one large table despite rest of the place being empty. Place was cold some of group sat with coats on. Even one of the staff agreed it was cold. Place looking tired in need of a make over poor lighting in some parts. Some of the food was cold and had to be sent back. Can’t fault the service and the friendliness of staff.

Have a fantastic Sunday Buffet menu, food is fantastic however my only critisism is that is is so dark in there and has a tiny bit of a weird smell but I put this down to being directly on the canal. I wouldn't let this put me off going for a lovely meal though. I just don't like sharing my food and they bring the dishes out on a big plate that every one can pick from.

I went to the Red Lantern Chinese restaurant today with my wife, and we had the Sunday set meal special for £15 per head. I have not eaten Chinese food of this quality for a long time, and we frequent the Chinese restaurants in China Town in Manchester regularly throughout the year. The food at the red Lantern is fabulous and utterly delicious.So lets start from the moment we walked into the restaurant, and please don't be put off by the fact you go down some stairs to access it. The welcome we received was warm and friendly. The young lass who served us all night was brilliant and attentive to our needs without being over zealous.We were offered a choice of the set £15 Sunday special menu or the "A La Carte" menu which included fixed price banquet menus priced £18, £18.50, £22.50 and £28 per person . We choose the Sunday special menu.We were also asked if we had any food allergies, and then she took our drinks order. My wife had some Chinese tea, I had a couple of pints of Lager which was reasonably priced at £3 a pint The set menu had fixed starters of Prawn Crackers, BBQ Pork Spare ribs (3 each), Salt and Pepper Chicken wings (3 each) and a Spring Roll (1 each).Next up was Peking Duck with pancakes with all the trimmings,, ie Spring Onions, cucumber, and Hoisin sauce.Finally you had a choice from about 11 main meals all served with egg fried rice. My wife choose chicken with green peppers with black bean sauce, I had sweet and sour chicken. Other choices were sweet and sour pork, beef with green peppers and black bean sauce, King prawns with ginger and spring onions, crispy pork shreds, Thai style bean curd and a few others which I can't remember.The portion sizes were good, to such an extent that both my wife and myself could only eat half of the main meals and half of the fried rice. The left over food was put into take away cartons for us to eat another day. All the food was freshly prepared and was piping hot. When we received the final bill the cost was £38I really can't say anything negative about our experience tonight but can only thank all the staff at the Red Lantern for a very enjoyable dining experience, which was definitely worth a 5 star rating. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant that is for certain. Hope this review helps, if you find yourself in Burnley looking for somewhere to eat at weekend.

We were there for early evening meal on a Sunday when they do a banquette special which all 4 of us decided to have. This comprises of Prawn Crackers, a starter platter, crispy duck and then various mains to choose from. There was plenty for us all to choose from but they will let you deviate from the list for possibly a small additional charge. None of us felt the need to do this. We were there for our anniversary but did not want any fuss so had not informed them it was a special occasion. The service was excellent and at £15 a head I consider the above very good value for money. As we arrived early evening when we got there the 4 of us were the only ones there, however this soon changed. Service was very good, the food was excellent. The only down side to the restaurant is that access is down about 12 steep ish steps so they can not cater for wheelchairs and some disabled people may struggle to get in. All in all very highly recommended. We have been several times before & we will be going again.

As I work in a Chinese restaurant I'm always wary of visiting any other Chinese but I needed a night away from work and was so glad we came here! We went for the Sunday banquet at £15 per person.. for that price we were expecting quite small portions of everything but we were so wrong. The food was fresh quick and super tasty. The staff were attentive and made a fuss of our little girl - they even topped up her prawn crackers. The setting is a little bit quirky and me and my husband joked about the lighting being a bit red light district - also it's a basement too so was totally different!! It was lovely and cool in the hot weather too! They didn't have a high chair but were so accommodating- moving chairs so we could use the car seat.. just a quick note - you can get booster style high chair seats that you can attach to your chairs for around £15!! A special mention to the young lady with the dark hair as she's an excellent waitress and made my little girl feel special - thank you!

To mark a milestone birthday I invited a family group of 15 covering three generations.Subsequent to the initial booking the numbers changed several times and the restaurant were remarkably understanding and accommodating. We were greeted warmly and the service was both friendly, attentive and efficient. we ordered the party banquet but one member was vegetarian and another had an egg allergy which they catered for with good grace. Whilst the front of house were locals the excellent food was traditionally Chinese. All in all a great experience and one we will repeat.

We have just dined at The Red Lantern for the first time. The food was lovely, nicely presented and hot. The service was pleasant although a little over enthusiastic at times, in as much as on two occasions, we had our plates whipped away before we had finished eating which I find really irritating. The restaurant itself looks really tired and in need of a face lift, particularly on the way down the stairs where the walls look battered which gives a really poor first impression. It was very dark inside which made it difficult to see what we were eating. The piped music was overpoweringly loud. I thought the meals were a fair price but I was astounded to be charged £3 for a large soda water. That felt like daylight robbery. Had I have known (it wasn't on the drinks menu) I would have ordered tap water which I would have been just as happy with. If you are planning a visit I would recommend wearing something warm. It was absolutely freezing and my feet were like blocks of ice. I did mention it to the waitress and she agreed it was very cold.In summary, we really enjoyed the food, compliments to the chef, but the place itself, for me, leaves a lot to be desired.

We came here for our 4th anniversary. It's the first time my boyfriend had been and my second time. I knew the first time I came that my boyfriend would love it and I was not wrong!!! All the food was amazing, I was especially impressed with the vegetarian options, I am used to having barely anything to choose from but here there was quite a lot!!! Everything tasted fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed it all! All of the staff were lovely and very polite, even apologising that the free prawn crackers were not vegetarian which is obviously not their fault. Great experience and we will most definitely be back!!!

Visited here after seeing the Sunday banquet menu advertised on Facebook. We arrived early afternoon so was a quiet and relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant. Excellent friendly service, the food exceeded our expectations, well presented, good portion sizes, freshly cooked tasty food. We were that full we ended up taking some home in a doggy bag. Would recommend this place, well worth the money, would definitely go again.

We travel from south Wales for the football and for me and my wife this is a Fri evening treat if we are staying for two nights, very friendly staff and the food could not be bettered in my opinion :)

We had a recent family visit on Sunday for the banquet menu. This time we sat on the far side of the restaurant and there was quiet a strong smell of damp, which was off putting. The table next to us mentioned it to the waitress who dismissed it as acceptable due to being in the basement! One of the young waitresses was also a little slap dash. This was not what we expected or had experienced on previous visits. The food was still tasty and enjoyable but Sadly the restaurant is in need of some TLC

From walking through the door to leaving, we could not have wished for a better meal or service. The food is fantastic and the staff are brilliant. We have never been here before but we highly recommend his gorgeous restaurant.

Food excellent, staff very helpful, warm welcome on arrivel. We didn't get rushed ordering drinks and food , party of 4 decided to have combo starter which is for 2 normally but the staff sorted it so we had it for 3, plenty of food for 4, main course we choose 3 dishes and got advise with the rice 2 lot's. 3 bottles of wine and a beer eventually we left, no rush last one's in

Been here for two work Christmas parties and many birthday parties! It's a great place! The food is great value for money especially the set meals! Great choice of food and the portion sizes are massive! Would highly recommend this Chinese! The girls that work here are very pleasant and are great at there jobs! We had a friend with a nut allergy and they made sure no nuts were in his meal and explained each course that did/didn't contain nuts! It doesn't look like anything special from the outside but once you go in its lovely cosy and very welcoming!

Last night my party of 7 went to the Red Lantern, most of my group are regulars however it was my first time. We were greeted by two lovely ladies at the entrance; this was complimented by the smiley, friendly and helpful waitresses who were available throughout our meal.The food was to die for! We ordered various platters and some sides and nothing disappointed. The prosecco was also sweet and crisp, very delicious! I will most definitely be coming again to this hidden gem of Burnley!

We were a party of 11 people for my sister in laws surprise birthday treat.Some of us had previously eaten here and loved the place. We were not disappointed, it was as good as always.Small but great place with good food and wine, great service and decor. Lovely atmosphere and fantastic attention to detail and service.Nothing too much trouble, that provided extra candles for birthday cakes and arranged them beautifully.Definitely a special place and one we will visit again.

Thought we'd visit after an afternoon in Southport. We rang that afternoon to book for 7ish. They still do the set banquet on a Sunday at £15 a head. The food was nice and the service attentive allowing time between courses so you don't feel rushed. Nice for a treat now and then.

The food and service were very good.Our meal was very tasty and we enjoyed it.I dont care for the restaurant setting which is downstairs ,,sometimes on arrival it smell a bit damp,and its quite dingy, they have decorated since we were last here, and it seems to improved. The staff are very nice and friendly and would would eat here again,we had crispy duck my husband had the beef in black bean with chips and I had the singapore vermachille which was good.

We had a banquet and it was the best we've ever had (and we've had lots) it was excellent. Lots of different dishes and all were cooked to perfection. Service was superb. The waitresses were attentive without fussing, anything we asked for was brought immediately. Would have liked to hear a little bit of Chinese music to make the atmosphere more authentic but to be honest the food was so good it didn't! matter.

There aren't any good Chinese Restaurant/Takeaway around Barnoldswick so we had to travel to Burnley to try there. The decor was lovely, the food was great and the service was good, there wasn't many tables for 2 so I'm guessing it's more for families/parties.

We got here at 6pm on a Saturday evening so were first customers in. very pleasant decor and friendly staff .All the food was tasty we had duck wrap starters and prawn toast followed by king prawns and pineapple and cashew nut mixed meat sizzling platters with egg fried rice and bamboo shoots with onions drank the carlsberg lager bill came to £55.00 enjoyed our evening and will go back

We visited the red lantern when we arrived the staff are very welcoming and polite. Great service, the food is beautiful would deffently recommended this to anyone. The potions are very generous, the drinks are nice we had house white wine and Chinese beer. Would definitely come back again

Regular visitors here at The Red Lantern and never disappointed. We have attempted most dishes on the menu over years, be that the a la carte or set price banquet, and all are always great quality and delicious!Service is fantastic. Carol and the girls really do offer a personal service to each table and you can guarantee a warm smile from all the team. Looking forward to more of the same next time.

I came here for a change as I always go to Italian restaurants. Staff are always friendly, great choice on menu and food is always good. We mentioned that it was me and my boyfriends anniversary and we were later given complimentary drinks. Have been several times and will return again.

First time for my other half, unusual start seeing someone sitting at a desk in reception brought back memories of a communist country.We were met well and promptly given a table in the far corner, table for 2.Waitress was on the ball and took our drinks order quickly, we had the Thursday special menu.Food was good, and sufficient.When to complain and when not, the diet pepsi / coke was flat but drinkable.The restaurant is underground and it the corner there was a musty smell, maybe damp?Yes we would go again.

I'm glad to say that the food was as good as usual and portion size just right. New waitresses seemed a little confused particularly with our drinks order but we got there eventually. You have to let the food do the talking at the Red Lantern as the place is in a 'cellar' with no windows and the lighting is very modest to say the least, no draught beers and something that always strikes me as odd, the table where you pay. With the guardian taking your money, calculators and computers to the fore and papers all lined up it's a bit like a border control desk to a less than friendly nation (pleasant staff though).

We have been here a few times now and never had a bad experience, it's not a romantic sort of place and is a little bit down into the bowls of the earth but the service is good and food to match.Will go again.

We came for a family meal with 4vegans menu suited all of us.All the dishes were well executed tofu especially good.excellent service and value.Would not be out of place in Manchester's Chinatown

Typical Thai/Chinese supermarket quinine. No draught beer! Ok for serving large groups in fast food style. Poor for couples or small groups.

Came here for a family meal last weekend. It doesn't look much from outside but its brilliant inside. The decor and size give it a good atmosphere, and it was plenty busy as well so glad we booked. The food was delicious. We went for the banquets and there was plenty of food for us all. The staff were really friendly and were really helpful from suggesting we eat the courses in a different way to enjoy it more to ordering taxis at the end of the night. We would definitely come again.

We have just made our first visit to the red lantern and would thoroughly recommend. Do not be put off by the exterior. Both food and service were excellent and on our next visit burnley we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Just been here for tea service excellent, food excellent and staff always very friendly I would recommend this place to anyone. Been to 5 star Chinese restaurants in Manchester and New York this places food is just as good albeit the location and venue isn't as upmarket. Been to the Red Lantern several times since moving to Burnley 5 years ago. It has a great reputation among my friends and is quite handily situated a stumble across the street from The Bridge! I'm not a big fan of standard Chinese take aways, but the Lantern is a cut above the majority of Chinese food I've eaten! Tonight we had the Sunday set banquet priced at £15 which includes prawn crackers, mixed starters, duck pancakes and a main course and rice. As usual the food was delicious and we were also sent some tempura prawns with wasabi and soy which were beautiful. The staff are always polite, attentive and helpful and the good never disappoints. The a la carte menu might cost a bit more than some Chinese restaurants in the area but I wouldn't go anywhere else for Chinese! The drinks are also reasonably priced and the Tsingtao beer goes down very well! One of my favourite dishes (it's hard to choose!) is Hong Kong Bay prawns. Oh and the dim sum is epic too. Whatever you order you're always served with a smile and well looked after by Carol, Raymond and the team. Thanks for another fab meal!

We recently ordered a take out from this restaurant. We picked it up ourselves so no delivery. We were charged £18 for two main meals!!!! Absolutly rediculous. Our local Chinese does the same meals for half the price. We wanted to try this place as our last visit here was a disaster and wanted to give it another try. Only we were dissapointed yet again.

Been a number of times over the last couple of years and always a good meal at the rite price. The Sunday buffet is very good and would definitely recommend.

Great restaurant. Food was very good, (And plenty of it) and good value for money. Service was excellent. I will definitely return when I am next in town

I could rave about this place all day JUST try it your self its just the Best only one problem its down a flight of stairs but my 70 year old sister in-law with a bad leg goes every week just because of how good it is

Not a cheap, grab it off the table buffet, a proper Chinese restaurant with excellent well prepared food with matching service.

My partner and I haven't visited the Red Lantern in a few years but we heard a few good reviews lately so thought we'd try it. Unfortunately we were disappointed. I am not usually one to leave a bad review but I doubt I will visit here again. This restaurant bears no comparison to a Cantonese just a few miles away in Padiham. Of the three waitresses who served us, only one appeared to be jolly and welcoming, when the rest were clearly just earning their money. The constant noise of a door banging really irritated me throughout the meal and we were not really given much of a break through the four courses we had. Some of the food is cooked nicely but nothing to write home about. The lady shredding the duck hardly spoke to us and didn't look very confident in doing so, which made me feel very awkward and then when the sizzling steak came, we were warned it may spit and sizzle but the beef hardly made a sound let alone sizzle!showing me that the hot plate was barely even warm :( We were also stuffed on a corner table rather than being near the big round parties which made me feel like I shouldn't really be there. Not a great evening, which is a shame given that there aren't many Chinese restaurants in this town.

3 couples came a few Saturday's ago. We had the banquet c and the food was lovely. We sat on a big round table which was fab. The only downside and this is very little, was the starter came on one big plate and I thought it would of been better on a few smaller plates. Minor I know! The service was very good and we will all defiantly return

A flight of stairs takes you down to this excellent restaurant so quite difficult for disabled people but well worth the effort if you can negotiate them I am sure the staff would help if asked .Food is very good as is the service. All orders are cooked fresh Food can also be ordered as takeaways. Most enjoyable we shall certainly return
