Visited with my sister last night and I had the crispy buttermilk chicken burger with fries. My sister had the signature burger with fries as well. Both burgers tasted so good and were big! Read previous reviews and must say people weren’t lying about portions being big. Would be stopping by again on Sunday to try their Sunday roast. I was served by Daphne and Laura who were very lovely and attentive.

To small cramped seating bar even worse not a bad pub for a drink or two but if want a little more space head to the village or the medda

Great atmosphere on a lovely day

In there on a Friday afternoon when a crowd came in with lots of young children and the place resembled a creche. This spoilt it for me and I know others were of the same opinion. I want to be able to sit and talk to friends without kids continually pushing through. This seems to be coming a regular feature here.

Amazing range of beers last night. Jaipur and Absolution topping the list.

It's a lovely little pub, the cobs are amazing there the only thing I didn't like was it says family friendly pub but yet the staff kept telling the kids they couldn't go to the toilet or to the bar for pop and crisps with out a adult and would bwatch them while in the beer garden doesn't feel family friendly.

I've never been to such a friendly pub.This was our 2nd visit to this pub which had new owners from our previous visit. Its a cash only pub so my husband had to pop to a cash machine so I waited in the pub while he went. I sat with a family who owned the pub. Told them what happened and they got me a drink and chatted to me like I'd known them ages. Lovely people, lovely pub and lovely beer garden with a few toys for little ones. Looking forward to our next visit.

Large family/dog friendly garden. Superb selection of ales on. Firm favourite of mine.

Friendliest pub with the best ales and great cobs. The cow offers a cosy atmosphere with a wonderful beer garden where children and dogs are welcome both inside and out. One of the few real pubs left that isn't dominated by food, where you can go to socialise over drinks at lower than average prices.

Very oldie worldwide decor which in my opinion is ok and takes me back to my youth. Some amazing ales and beers on tap and they keep a cracking pint. They had run out of the black pudding scotch eggs which I want to try.

Local very friendly family oriented, landlord/wife and staff all very helpful and can recommend different beers wines etc. A good but small pub to go.

An excellent selection of real Ales and friendly staff the pub as a good vibe about it A average size pub with a excellent sized beer garden and the red cow is also home to the local scooter club The Mohicans which meet there on a Thursday night so i can highly recommend this local Gornal Pub.

This used to be a great pub, however their opening hours are now 11pm, has been midnight. for as long as I have been going there. I no longer want to go, not after I was told this on Facebook "You're lucky Dave only shrugged his shoulders and didn't put you on the never ending list of banned people. The place has always been one spilled drink away from a mass brawl on a Saturday night anyway, especially on a match day." I came here from Sedgley, got a taxi to the Black Bear round the corner, then walked to here, to be told sorry we're just closing. this was at 11pm.

Another great little pub in the area. Good beer board. Grest staff. Friendly customers. Another one on our regular must visit list. Well done Red Cow.
