Only drinks available here on Sunday. Felt rather uncomfortable when we walked in as literally everyone turned around as we entered. Perhaps we took someone’s seat? Anyway we had drinks and left as felt very unwelcome. Toilets not great but functional

Friendly, lovely pub with great people with a great atmosphere. Perfect for couples or a family, just can't recommend it enough, the live music is great too and the different nights they do, honestly it's taking me back to the good old pub days

Stayed in the village overnight and needed food. Decided to try the Raven. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. We couldn't believe the prices so we weren't expecting much. However we weren't disappointed with the food, which was very well cooked. Lovely homemade chips instead of the usual plastic frozen ones There were 3 of us eating and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Top marks all round. Unfortunately we probably wont be back in the area for some time otherwise we would make it a regular .Thank you

Nice big garden area for drinks outside which overlooks the main road. The staff were friendly and welcoming even though it was boiling hot and you could see that they were struggling with the heat behind the bar. Didn't really get a chance to look at the menu much but did see that they offered a Sunday roast for a fair price. The decors a bit lacking but the garden makes up for it.

Visited on the scarecrow weekend and had Sunday lunch. After a mix up and delay my lunch arrived and I can say it was worth the extended wait. Staff were very apologetic over the delay. I had the beef which came with 4 veg, cauliflower cheese, home made Yorkshire pudding and lashings of delicious gravy. I think we will be back again despite the travel from nearby Birmingham.

Really enjoyed an evening recently at the Raven Inn. Staff very friendly and even happy to climb the steep garden to bring us extras for our meal but the view was worth it and the food fabulous. Really good value e.g Fish Fridays - Fish, Chips and peas and a pint only £9! Can't say fairer than that. Will definitely be back. Many thanks.

We love this pub, lovely friendly atmosphere and nice to be welcomed by smiling face. Food is great and for those with a smaller appetite half portions are available across the menu. The food and drink are all excellently priced. The pub is also dog friendly so after a good walk it's a great place to end up at. There is also a garden area should you prefer. Parking for cars is a bit limited but you can normally find spaces in Broad St the main road through the village. Highley recommended.

This is a very friendly pub. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Most items on the menu are also available as 'lite bites' for those with a smaller appetite. Dogs are also very welcome which, depending on your opinion, is an advantage.

First in the restaurant to be greeted by two large dogs. Ordered the drinks which were excellent. More people arrives with dogs. More dogs in the restaurant than guests. Ran out of lettuce so asked if they could replace it with cabbage, chips come out too well done. Giant Yorkshire pudding awful mash potato and three sausages obviously from the supermarket no gravy. Pie full of mince that’s it, no onion, no vegetables awful. Very very disappointed, dogs should not be in the restaurant the worst meal I have ever had and I’m not the usual person to moan.

Went for lunch with husband, daughter and two young grandchildren. Had a very enjoyable time there, staff were very friendly and helpful. Children were given a choice of colouring books and pencils to keep them occupied while waiting for their food. Food was good and tasty, no complaints from any of us. Prices were very reasonable. Would definitely return there if in the area again.

Never ever go to this Costa, it is beyond appalling; it is so disgusting, I'm struggling to put into words, my experience today. My husband and I popped along with my wheelchair-bound 91-year-old mother, for a little light lunch. We arrived at around 1:30 pm on Sunday 23rd of March 2025, to find the place surprisingly quiet. Given that it was a Sunday lunchtime, I would have expected the place to be alive with families and couples. We had in fact tried to find a table at the Lutterworth Costa, but it was so full, with no sitting room, we came along to this branch, hoping they would be able to squeeze us in. There were 3 members of staff on duty (2 young ladies and a young man), and only about 6 or 7 occupied tables, including us. We ordered 3 drinks and 2 toasted sandwiches and a toasted croissant. The food came quickly enough and was pleasant. After my mother had eaten half of her sandwich, she indicated she needed to go to the lavatory, and as she is in a wheelchair, I have to help her out with these things. We got up, and as I was heading towards the lavatories, the young man on duty, jumped ahead of us and said sheepishly, "I just need to check if they are clean". As it was so quiet, and there were 3 members of staff on duty, I was a bit surprised that this needed checking on first, but I just assumed he was being super-diligent. He turned back to us looking embarrassed, and I said "is it dirty?", to which he responded "yes" and then "lucky me". He walked to a nearby cupboard, collected a dustpan and brush, went ahead of us again, spent literally 10 seconds sweeping something from the floor, and then moved back to allow us to access. I pushed my mother's wheelchair in to, what can only be described as, the most disgusting public lavatory I've seen, in my 60 years of living. It sounds like it must be exaggerating doesn't it (so dramatic!) - but not only were the scraps of paper all over the floor, so much worse than that, there was urine everywhere. I don't just mean a little drop or two on the seat where somebody had not been careful, I mean the floor was literally swimming in urine, the toilet seat was covered in urine, the lavatory bowl had urine in it with no toilet paper, it was quite literally, like somebody had embarked on a highly successful 'dirty protest'. Now, as if this was not enough, the fact that this young man had seen the appalling mess, he clearly must've known what it was like, which is why he jumped ahead of me to "check", but then to think that it was acceptable for me to not only to walk into that disgusting room, but allow my 91-year-old disabled mother to sit on a toilet seat covered in urine, almost left me speechless with outrage. How dare you treat your paying customers with such disrespect, moreover, how dare you treat any other human being with such disrespect? It is unforgivable. There is no world in which I would allow anybody to be subjected to such a monstrous, nauseating experience, and the management at this specific Costa, should be either, immediately dismissed, or sent away on a course, to teach them the fundamental rights of human beings, and particularly how that relates in a hospitality setting. Surely, it is simple? Would you sit on a toilet covered in urine, while your feet sat in puddles of urine? Would you allow your 91-year-old disabled mother, or grandmother, to sit her behind on a urine covered toilet seat, while the wheels of her wheelchair wallowed in urine? You were not busy. When you opened up that morning, either, nobody bothered to look at the lavatories (not acceptable), or worse, looked at the lavatories, and could not be bothered to do anything about them (disgraceful).
