The Priory Arms in Lambeth

Great location and quite busy as expected (South Bank) I was very disappointed with the lukewarm chips and cold onion rings although the steak looked good but never got that far before it was returned to be replaced, and unfortunately the replacement was no better. Think the steak knife was an original from the day it opened. Clearly the food (original and replacement) had been left waiting before it could be served by any of the 4 waiters who were totally rushed off their feet. Highlight of a great day spoilt

Racist treatment and denied entry. Went to have a Thursday night beer and listen to some music. I was met by some racist bouncers (black) who were rude and unprofessional. I asked what music was played and was asked why? I quickly realised that the tone and demeanour was suspicious. I said to the bouncer it's a simply question no need to be rude. The bouncer then told me its Mexican and I can't come in as its a private work party but I watched several white people enter without question and who definitely did not come for a work party. I am surprised that after seeing other reviews stating similar experiences that this place still has a licence.
