We were on a canal boat and decided to Moor up and found this pub. As we walked in the locals and landlady made us feel so welcome, we had our dog with us and he was immediately given water as it was a very hot day, the ale was well. The pub is a traditional local but would definitely recommend to anyone passing. Thanks so much

Visited yesterday with friends and pleased to see it nows opens at midday. Nicky( the new gaffer) gave us a very warm welcome. She and her team provide the most magnificent pint of Bathams and service. Great pub for a drink and chat. Just the job after a nice walk along the canal and river around Kinver. Next time, I'll do the walk as well!!!!

What an absolutely brilliant little local pub! I can’t quite believe it’s not been on trip advisor! Mincers best kept secret! Superb ales, great music and good old fashioned pub atmosphere. It’s no frills and spotlessly clean! Absolutely must visit place if you like a pub as it used to be. Service excellent from Sarah and Biff and got chatting to some really friendly locals! Can’t recommend it highly enough!!

First time we have visited but advised to book as it was Mothers day. Very busy but staff were very friendly and efficient. Ordered our drinks and food which were delivered quickly. All meals were perfectly cooked and very tasty ( small breakfast, large breakfast with black pudding and sourdough smash) Will definitely be coming back to try some of the lovely cakes.

We were booked in for a family anniversary celebration for a party of eighteen for a three course Sunday lunch . The meal was excellent all served at the same time no one was waiting for there meals to be arrive. The starters, main course and deserts were exceptional. The staff serving could not do enough for us, the drinks were bought to us promptly when needed . I would definitely recommend this restaurant the food and service was of the highest quality.

We had a really great experience today celebrating Mum's 80th birthday with a Sunday lunch canal cruise. The staff made Mum, and our party, feel like VIPs! Nothing was too much trouble, they helped us sneak on board before we set off to set up some decorations and hand over the birthday cake. They got the whole boat to sing Happy Birthday to my Mum and they made meal adaptations for the grandchildren as well as catering for a nut allergy. We're so glad we chose this company for her birthday treat. Thank you so much Georgie's Canal Cruises!

Firstly the chips are really nice, but when arrived they were all stuck like glue, may be better packaging of food. I ordered mix meat and it's nothing special, certainly better places out there locally. Lastly the price you are paying is a joke. £5 for large chips.
