Best pizza in south wales puts dominoes to shame

I've been buying pizza here for around 15 years, food has always been excellent and the owner has always been very friendly. Everything is fresh and made to order, not like other local pizza takeaways where the food isn't treated with any care. If you want quality pizza for a very good price, Pizza Place should be top of your list!

The pizza is made fresh upon order and the quality is incredible. The staff are friendly and down to Earth with a good sense of humour, which makes every visit worthwhile.

Absolutely amazing value and a great welcome from the owner Marcus(don't know if I have spelt his name right) my daughter and I called this evening for a pizza and what a fantastic pizza we had, Cerys my daughter was well impressed by having the pizza split in half, with all she wanted and with garlic bread was excellent value for money. My total spend was £10.

So pleased we were able to try this place out during our stay in Wales. We're staying in the herestone lodges and went online to find a local takeaway. Spotted this place and noticed the amazing reviews and considering we're huge pizza fans we had to try it. The pizzas are such a welcome change to the normal big names you'd order from - not overly greasy, nice herbs used and such attention to detail with the toppings. That plus the fact they're miles cheaper - you can get a small margarita for about £3 which is perfect for a child. Seems to be run by a nice chap and lady who clearly put a lot of effort into this and deserve the recognition for it hence my possibly OTT review. If you're in the area go for it you won't regret it and if you happen to be at the Herestone lodges it's like a 7 min drive away so lucky you! Only wish there was somewhere like this where we live. Thanks guys hope to try again one day!

The most amazing pizza anyone will ever try. Easily top domino's or pizza hut. Different kinds of pizzas up, from the average cheese, too the lush chocolate pizzas. Really quick service and good prices. :) You will never get a better pizza.

Excellent service & wonderful food! The staff are very friendly and are always ready to help! Fresh pizzas prepared and cooked in front of you! They even make their bases! Excellent on the pocket too! Highly recommend!

Excellent value for money, great to see them being made fresh before your eyes, top quality pizza's and very friendly staff.

Highly regarded shop. However was not impressed by the quality of the food for price you paid. But you did get to see your pizza made fresh which is a very good part of the store. Was very disappointed when I saw them take an ASDA garlic bread out of the fridge and it's wrapper and then sprinkle some cheese on it.
