Our group of 6 went in off the street without a booking. We were given a table straight away. All food was really good, pizza's an curry's. Service and price also very good. Shame about no alcohol though.

Fabian must cook for my family once a week. Honestly our favourite take away. Friendy and fast service every time and the food is always hot when it reaches the house. As always, thank you x

The food was fantastic, value for money and good portion sizes. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. They looked after our requests with ease. They are an alcohol free dining area but this was fine for our family meal. The music was a little low so the atmosphere could have been better but overall we had a great experience. The menu online was also out of date as they don't do steaks anymore.

So I placed an order on the app had to pay by card got it delivered and also paid again with cash. Driver left and come back and gave the cash back what an honest member of staff you have. The Indian food was lovely. Would definitely recommend 👌

We were a group of eleven who got there quite late for our booking on a Saturday night (we had run from North Wales that day in a relay race). Lovely, cosy and comfortable atmosphere. Food was really tasty and good value. Service was great. Curries were really good and came with popadom and chutney. I added a nan. Desserts were also very nice with lovely cheesecakes. Lovely speaking to Fabian and his team and we definitely visit again.

The service was good and they were polite. The music was depressing. The burger has lots of sauce and cheese which was nice but the burgers were more of a microwave burger style not a big juicy burger. Doesn't serve alcohol in this place.

Best Indian food in the middle of Powys.

Went here for dinner whilst working in the area, the food is exactly as per the photos already uploaded on Google - 10/10. Will definitely visit when back in the area. Very friendly owners as well!

We got take out to the Tavern a couple of doors down. The chef came in to speak to me about my dish because I wanted some extra spice.. they delivered the food too, which was super nice. Lots of curry .. very tasty. Full of flavour.

Brilliant takeaway, looks just as nice to eat in, great quality food at decent prices, I had a blue cheese burger with bacon fries, best I've ever had, really nice staff and takeaway boxes are brilliant they don't get squashed or touch your food too much, would recommend to anyone who likes burgers!

Lovely family restaurant. Owners were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend their curries. I could honestly say they had the best butter chicken currye I've had in my life!

Stopped here on spec while travelling through. Needed a dine in place that was open early evening. Fabian’s had the best reviews, and enough menu variation to suit us. It was indeed splendid, a friendly welcome, we had super tasty curries with loads of chicken, rice , chips the best garlic naan I’ve had in ages, and a delicious cheesecake . I would 100% recommend visiting and we won’t need to google the next time we’re in Llandrindod.

Food and service were good - a noisy screaming child running about ruined the atmosphere unfortunately.

After coming to the restaurant tonight with my partner I can honestly say we were both blown away by both the food & the service. The owner & staff were so friendly & attentive, lovely atmosphere. I had the fish curry which was delicious & flavourful, my boyfriend had the bourbon burger which he said was one of the best he’s ever had! Also the takeaway cheesecake for dessert was unreal! Wish we had somewhere like this local to us, will definitely be back next time we visit mid Wales. Thank you Fabian

An unexpected experience, happy to serve us very close to closing time, an owner with a hence of humor close to my own, all round good place to eat and right next to a real ale bar 🍻 what kore could I ask for.

An absolute gem of a place, tasty, freshly prepared food, and the staff were lovely. We had a lovely welcome from Ellie-Mae and the co-owners were so genuine and kind. Mac 'n' Cheese burger hit the spot and my wife's fish curry was superb. Thrilled to see this place so busy, and it deserves to be busy. Superb food, service and value-for-money. We will be back !

We live locally and order the takeaway most weeks as it is all so freshly cooked. The curry flavours are mouth watering, the fish curry is the best I've ever tasted. Pizzas are generous with toppings and the tikka pizza is just awesome. Treat yourself to the cheesecake and don't count the calories, you won't regret it. Wonderful.

Loved this place. Spacious, friendly and great food. Was a happy accident to find this place near us when we stayed nearby for a week. Food is really good, and slightly different to what we get here in Norwich.

Had dinner here and we were very impressed. The owners were extremely welcoming and really went the extra mile when preparing a gluten free dish for my wife who is coeliac. If you have dietary restrictions you can safely eat here and not worry. Will most definitely eat here when we're next in the area.

We stopped by this evening as the place was closing. They kindly agreed to cook is a burger from their menu. Was the single best burger I've ever tasted, was unbelievably good and the fries were perfect. I live 2 hours away. I'm definitely coming back.

Lovely freshly cooked food, I had a tasty curry with poppadoms and rice. I had slated caramel cheesecake for dessert which was great. Good selection of drinks. Friendly and attentive service.

After visiting a burger establishment further up road (worth no salt as we named it) we left as poor service and came to Fabian's we are so glad we did. Walked in to such a warm welcome and a massive smile The blue burger was ordered and wowwww 1st bite in I was ready to divorce the wife. 2nd bit in where all the magic happened juicy succulent perfectly cooked burger not over done on the sauces and lettuce as I thought I really had found my true love in life the garlic bread was also so good very pleased to have eaten such good food would recommend and will be back

Called in fabians for the first time and what a lovely and friendly place... We had a burger each and it was delicious and then we had a cheesecake it was gorgeous honestly...... Had 2 beers to swill it down and my partner had a glass of wine couldn't fault it... I will be back we stayed for 2 nights in Llandrindod shame we wasn't living nearer... Thanks fabians 👍🥧🍺🍷🍔

Nasra and Fabian run a superb restaurant. A wide range of food options including custom burgers, home made curries, kebabs and even pizza. Something for every taste. I had Fabian's signature classic burger one evening, and was so impressed I returned to try the lamb shish kebab. Both excellent meals, very generous in portion and the lamb in particular, delicately spiced, marinated in yogurt and cooked over charcoal. The naan flatbread was a welcome change to the usual pitta. Delicious! Nasra operates front of house in an efficient manner, was attentive with helpful suggestions, and checked mid way through the meal that all was well. I also sampled the house Shiraz and Merlot - both excellent, quality wines that you would be very happy to serve at home. Dessert options included a chocolate chip cookie cheesecake. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and one I'd recommend to anyone staying or visiting the area.

My husband and I both ordered curries, portion sizes were great and the curries were delicious! We had garlic and buttered naan breads which were amazing and my husband enjoyed an extra pot of free korma sauce too! Thanks Fabian; lovely food!

We had a meal there at the beginning of May 2022, there was a very limited menu, no Steaks and the Chicken Korma I had tasted and looked like a Tesco's Ready Meal. We were booked in for the 6pm sitting, as soon as we had finished our main meal, we were asked if we wanted desert, we said no thank you, within seconds our bill was placed on the table, and we were asked to vacate the table for other bookings, we were going to have another round of drinks because the Lager was very good.

My boyfriend and i visited this restaurant tonight and honestly, we have no words! While he had the mac and cheese burger which looked amazing, i had the chicken tikka pizza which was just to die for! not only was the food lovely, the staff were also so kind and friendly, it was such a welcoming and lovely environment, will definitely be visiting again soon, already recommended to our friends and family!!

Really great meal had the fish curry and it was delicious, the rest had burgers and said they were delicious too.

I have never had food from fabians but my family recommended them. So checked out the app.

Not surprised this place is #1 in Llandod. Good mix of options on menu. The hot fish curry was fantastic.

I took my wife and her family here last night and we had an absolutely lovely meal. It was all piping hot, tasted deliscious and there was plenty of it for a very reasonable price. All brought to us by waitresses who were smiling and very polite. What more could you ask for? The cheesecake was the best I'd tasted in a long time and the decor and atmosphere in the place was very relaxing. I also tried one of the local Hwgga ales (Shakey Bridge) it was fantastic.......we'll defintiely be going there again soon.

Probably the best burger I've ever had.

We ate here on the evening of 15 February rather than at the hotel where we were staying and were not disappointed. The burgers were really tasty and the murgh makkani was divine. The service was friendly, the food was excellent value for money and we were glad to have supported a small local business

Best fried chicken in Llandrindod Wells! We tried their southern fried chicken strips and the spiced crumbed wings. Both were really tasty, melt in the mouth goodness. My partner had a burger and that was really good too.

Thank you Fabian's for another lovely evening of wonderful atmosphere, lovely food at the famous Fabian's biscoff cheesecake!! Not my first visit and certainly won't be my last, the food is brilliant every single time.

We were a bit disappointed with the quality of the burgers which didn’t taste particularly nice and looked to be of poor quality meat. This is a shame as we have ordered from here previously and really enjoyed the burgers and found them to be good quality. Perhaps they had changed their supplier or run out of their usual burgers and temporarily used a new supplier. The burgers were not up to the standard we would have expected for the price. The curry and kebab were really good though. Hopefully this is a temporary blip.

We have been her 4 or 5 times in the last 8 weeks and tried something different each time, our favorite has to be the Peri Peri Chicken. Portion size is excellent, service is excellent, value for money more than excellent. If you haven't eaten here you must try it, we would highly recommend it and will be back again in the next week or two for sure. So see you guys next week!!

Warm welcome at this family business. A good selection of family favourites, well prepared and full of flavour. Look out for the special dishes. Recommended are the home made cheesecakes, changing frequently. Plenty of choice at the bar too. Go for a local beer to accompany one of the curries.

Brilliant food and great service

The food here is good, but not outstanding. What really sells it is the atmosphere, with the staff and the chef coming out to check on things and have a chat with you. That's a really nice touch. I can only imagine how tiring it must be to be on your feet cooking all day, but to still find the time to come and have a chat is fabulous. They serve the locally brewed beer (Hwgga Brew), in an effort to support their community, so top marks again for that.

A great Fabian welcome. Delicious chickpea, spinach and potato curry. Easy relaxed atmosphere. Felt very Covid-safe.

Recommended. All staff attentive and care about their food, customers and restaurant setting. On a local resident's recommendation, we were pleased we ordered the coconut fish curry and the chicken curry. My companion, who often struggles to find food spicy enough to please her native Asian palette, was very pleased with the level of chillis and spice (we ordered hot) and will gladly return if we are ever in town again. Well done team.

Words cannot describe the sheer beauty, grace, elegance and overall splendour of this wonderful establishment. I ordered a well done steak, and to my surprise, unlike many other well done steaks I’ve had before, was not only cooked well on the outside, but also still full of juice and flavour. The peppercorn sauce complimented the steak so well too. In addition, I also tried some of my sisters coleslaw, and before, I used to hate the taste of it. Never in my life, did I think that I’d like the taste of coleslaw, but somehow, through Fabian’s magic, I found myself subconsciously eating some. Overall, I’d give this restaurant a 10/5 stars. It really lives up to its French root of “restaurer”, which quite literally means “to restore or refresh.” If I ever plan on returning to Wales, I’ll definitely come here again‼️

Ate here twice whilst on holiday staying nearby. Excellent family run restaurant with great service and great food. If we are in the area again we will be back. The fish curry and chicken tikka kebab are particular nice.

Fabians kitchen is always a great place to eat. I did think the menu was a bit more limited than usual, im putting that down to Covid 19.

Ate here with my girlfriend while visiting the area and we liked it so much that we came back the following night. Our meals were fresh and delicious, while the service was superb. Far better than we expected and an excellent family restaurant. Well worth a visit.

Had a really nice meal here. All the classic favourites on one menu. I was spoilt for choice. Fresh ingredients made to order. The owner was lovely and friendly and gave me some chips on the house as I was torn between two side dishes and so my husband didn’t have to share 😂 . The place is spotless. Pity we were just passing through! Definitely on my radar to visit again.

Christmas lunch was cooked as I like it, just the right amount of food was served, staff were friendly & efficient. The only negative I would say is that the room was a bit cold otherwise I would recommend Fabiens
