Friendly, Well Run, Craft Beer Bar. My Wife and I Called in for a couple last Saturday and ended up staying all afternoon. The welcome is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, there are always at least 8 craft beers on tap. This is a Gem of a place!

Allowing vaping in the bar is so 1980’s, and against the law. Staff do not care. Customers were vaping. The place stinks. It takes simply to place no vaping signs on the tables, walls and bars, and to take action when it happens.

Wow where do I start is it a pub or a vets waiting room the latter is what i was greeted with on arrival I had to step over 3 dogs to get to the bar now im all for dog friendly pubs as the punters are not out as they used to be but having to sit in a bar which by the way is like sitting in the back of a transit van with at the time I was there 5 dogs were in attendance barking barking barking in a back of a transit van size pub is not for me each to their own but I for one like a pint and a chat which the pipeworks bar is ok if your a doggy

A marvellous and cool little bar doing a range of ales , ciders and other drinks. Full of very friendly locals and run by an excellent owner/ manager with staff who genuinely enjoy working there. Absolute gem!

Only been a couple of times (so far) great place for craft beers at decent prices. Staff are very welcoming Friends has roast roll and a pint on a Sunday for £10 - can’t fault it !!

Had a takeaway which we had delivered. Ordered 3 garlic rice but on opening one of the garlic rice was missing. We rang the shop and they informed that they had only two down on their order. We just assumed they had misheard us when we placed the order. In all fairness, they asked did we want them to deliver another but been as all the other food was already with us, we informed them not to bother as the rest would have gone cold whilst we waited; and as they had informed they only had two on their order we also assumed we hadn’t paid for it. After eating our meal we decided to check the prices as we thought the bill had been a bit steep. Using the prices on their online site we discovered they had charged for the rice that we did not receive alongside a £2.80 delivery charge which we did not mind. The food was lovely but just wanted to leave this review for people to be aware and to double check their order and the price before placing their order. I also checked the latest menu for the prices just in case there had been a price increase and they hadn’t yet updated their website; but other than an increase in 3 of the meals coming to 55p in total, the menu stated the same prices as they were online. We will order from them again and hopefully their customer service will be as good as their food which they can evidence with a complimentary rice dish next time.

Always gangs of 10-20 hanging around outside, buying this and selling that, If you know what I mean. Hostile staff. IMHO - stay away. These gangs that live there have a curfew of 11.30pm and actually have to ASK PERMISSION If they can go away for the day!! OMG! Is this a halfway house? Open prison? Weird!
