The Pig - near Bath in Bath and North East Somerset

Our visit was a gift from our daughter, who chauffeured us there and back. We had a guided tour of the kitchen garden followed by a first class lunch in the restaurant and then tea in the lounge.

Well looked after by Megan. Delightful atmosphere, great food and well looked after. Felt very welcome. The vegetable garden amazing but the actual grounds and location peaceful but not stunning. Intereating refidrnce and history and beautiful countryside.

1st came here in 1984 for my 16th birthday with my Dad. It holds very fond memories for me and I'm local. My friend took me for a boozy lunch as a thank you. The menu is locally sourced and innovative. There's a £29 set menu and other menus available. The walled kitchen garden is a must see, the location is stunning. It's very relaxed and the staff are a delight.

Went for lunch and was blown away by the quality of the food, surroundings and the service. A fantastic treat but worth every penny

Only had tea and coffee but the sitting rooms were so comfortable and warm in front of the log fire. Nice and relaxing.

We visited the restaurant only! We were lucky that we found a table after reservation of few days! Exquisite recipes!!! I really love that restaurant! As far as I heard, everything that they cook is fresh, harvested from their own fields! They also encourage local suppliers and farmers by using only local products! Amazing!!!! They also had a huge area with free deers!!!! 🥹❤️🤗

Overall the setting of the hotel and architecture is amazing. I thought the menu could have been more diverse and the portion sizes were a bit small.

Lovely rural location with deer running outside the windows. This place creates the country house party of our imaginations with a range of lounges with fireplaces, dining room and conservatory but celebrates local food producers with excellent cooking, immaculate service with a relaxed pace. Perfect for a celebratory new year's Day birthday lunch

Totally and utterly sensational stay at the Pig. They made our post wedding celebration truly special in every way. Andrew was the star of the show. But all the staff were amazing and we will be staying again for sure!

We could not have asked for a better place to spend our Christmas eve. The food, atmosphere and the staff were all exceptional. We hope to return and spend a night in the hotel at some point.

Amazing food and all locally sourced. It wasn’t super easy for my partner to eat vegan but vegetarian is easy.

Seemed to lack the individual atmosphere we have come to expect from visiting other “Pigs”.

What an experience !! Elegant building, un hurried excellent service. Relaxing atmosphere with lovely open fires. The restaurant was very busy, testament to the food on offer.
