The Pavilion 2 Bangladeshi Restaurant & Take Away in Rochdale

This was our first ever home delivery. I must say I am impressed. Ordered a timed delivery, and arrived exactly as expected. Food was piping hot, tasty and packaged so well. We had the butter chicken with rice and naan bread and the mixed starter with some papadoms and couple of chutney tray sauces. Really lovely. Portions are huge! Next time we would be opting for one each haha thank you for such efficient delivery and great quality food.

Great food, superb service. Best Indian we have been to for years (Table for 5). All agreed and we will definitely be back and highly recommend. Very comfortable, nicely decorated and very relaxing. Unusual paying method - pay by bank transfer only, but no problem if you have your bank app handy!

Food good. Delivery time good . Free popadoms stale and soft so binned them but they were free. I do wish they could nail a curry with less oil floating on the top to make it less bad for you, I just have to skim some of it off.

We ordered food from here tonight and last night. Was very lovely food

The food is consistently good hence we order almost every week. In order to improve they could fulfil the request every week for less oil the curry which doesn’t happen we always have to skim it off the top. The only criticism otherwise is the fact that the chips are always really greasy when it’s a takeaway but not in restaurant so when we order takeaway most of the time we don’t bother ordering chips we make our own. you need to order early otherwise you can wait two hours.

Good all didn’t come called then they said I will bring it out Around 40 minutes lates waiting all my food is freezing an my family want it it I did call them before to ask them to make sure it was all in to check as last time they did the same and this is meant to be a very good resultant

Been coming here for years and it is honestly the BEST Indian in Rochdale, no doubt about it. Always absolutely spot on for takeaway and in the restaurant

First time we have used the Golden Star, it certainly will not be the last. The order was delivered in a timely fashion and the food was absolutely delicious and ample portion sizes. A great selection, would definitely recommend!

Food wasnt bland but flavours were not strong enough either, mix starter meats were pretty much all dry unfortunately. Chicken karahi was nice. Was missing the strong authentic flavour that hits you

never normally complain about here but got 2 curries and there was hardly any meat what so ever and the food was bland in itself and it used be my favourite curry house put me off ordering again

Put a note for my curry to be spicy and it came as a korma. If you want something changing to how you want dont come here!!!

The food was really wonderful as always from the Pavilion. It was spoiled by the fact we waited almost 2 hrs for delivery through just eat.

It’s good for a date night and a catch up with friends. The food is so nice here and we love to come for the mocktails and great service

A very large group of us, probably around 70 were gathered to celebrate a cousins birthday and had an excellent meal that was only bettered by the polite and courteous staff that served us. It is many, many years since I have had a curry in Rochdale and I was really glad it was this venue that was booked. All of the dishes were extremely tasty and nice to see a venue that provides different types of non-alcoholic beers instead of just offering lemonade or coke. Whoever owns and runs this place your chefs, waiters and house staff are a credit to you.

Took hour and half hour to arrive, one of the dishes was wrong, the other massively over spiced.

Chips burnt, and curry was tasteless

The best curry’s around!!! This place is our favourite, food always comes on time, hot and oh so tasty!! Amazing customer service, I accidentally ordered it to the wrong address (forgot to change it back), I called them up and strait away they got another one cooked up and sent to the correct address. Thank you so much for this, massively appreciate you guys.

Food is excellent however the wait time is long due to the restaurant being busy. Do not let this put you off it is definitely worth the wait.

Came alone on business after recommendation. Spoke to regulars who recommended the lamb chops main with salad and sauce. Absolutely delicious. Will come again next time I’m here

A little late but the food was amazing thank you Pavilion for the sublime meals!

I have just had the worse curry of my life. The driver had clearly decided to start eating the poppadoms, what was left was bits all over the bag. My curry was absolutely swimming in grease/oil, it has all gone in the bin. We used to order from here quite often, decided to give them another try tonight but never again.

Not once have I ordered from here and it’s been on time. Never. The most annoying thing is - the food’s good, but they’re unapologetic, a little like when your taxi is late so you call, and get ‘he’s just round the corner’. Future tip, if you want to eat with your kids at 8pm, order at 5pm. Otherwise you’re in for a late night. The restaurant will tell you they’re busy, they always say that, but if you can’t honour your delivery times, don’t deliver.

1st takeaway from Pavilion tonight, would definitely recommend, everything was delicious, however my daughter's karahi was more hot than medium meaning she couldn't eat it, husband's curry had the same heat rating/spice level, but differed greatly, that was the only downside. Order arrived 45mins before the time specified in the email confirmation which was a bonus & appreciated as it was a birthday takeaway meal!

there were 8 of us , we had terrible service took over an hour to get served . They just kept trying to sell us drinks while we waited . We told the staff we were leaving we had waited too long and as if by magic the food turned up . I wouldn't bother .

Lovely food. Probably one of the best takeaways we’ve had. Just a shame it wasn’t hot when it arrived but we just put it in the microwave.

Small portion on the "plater" and curry's were swimming in grease. I spooned off 8 spoons of grease before eating. Food was tasty but not worth the money or delivery wait time or the free grease

outstanding the food is so fresh and tasty cooked to how you like it. the lamb madras melted in the mouth. so many staff the service was great been a few times now but regularly order takeaway.

Brilliant! Chef Sid is a rockstar, bigging up his cooking and service fron of house and backing it up with the dishes!. My mate was delighted to find a Phaal on the menu and, while not earth shatteringly hot, had deep layers of flavour. I had a korai and it was amazing.. 12/10 score! Perfect blend of classic into modern. They are opening another couple of premises soon and so they should. Wishing them every success and will be back very soon!.

Amazing once again Visited this evening as a family party of 3 - shown immediately to booth nearest to ramp - perfect location - Ambience and decor second to none - waiters and waitresses immaculate / friendly and professional at all times- nothing is too much for them. The food was quuckly served on hot plates and was outstanding quality - excellent value for money £79 for 2 course meal for 3 with chutneys and pappadoms- includes 2 beers and bottle of wine ! Generous portions too! Finished the meal off with 3 complimentary shots ! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening meal - See you again soon !!
