The Parsons Nose Melksham in Wiltshire

A horrible experience. A number of men were trying it on with a vulnerable, very drunk woman. She was asking us for help but the locals became agitated when we suggested we help her to a taxi for her to get home safely. One man in particular was vulgar and when I retaliated, we were told to leave. The pub is filthy, toilets are disgusting and the customers do what ever they want. This place needs a visit from the police and shutting down.

A flat atmosphere and uncomfortable glances between locals put me right off. Seems a likely place for a brawl to errupt with some of the unsavoury clientele they have and seemingly oblivious security on the door.

It’s a late drinking house with Rude management, filthy glasses, toilet awash with urine, no running water to urinals, no hot water to wash hands. Place needs a complete overhaul with some investment. It stinks to high heaven too as smelly dogs are allowed in during the day!! It’s just a place to drink until 2am and nothing spectacular. I shan’t be going back!!

My experience at this place was really bad. First it's allowed to vape, I know it's good news for the smokers but if you are a non smoker you should never go there especially on a Saturday night, it's too busy and there is no air-conditioning, with the smoke of the vapes I don't think you will have a good experience. Second : the manger believes that's his place and it should be run his way not by regulations, I saw him jumping on a drunken man even without talking to him or giving him the chance to walk out safely he restrained the poor man drugged him out threw him on the floor, the poor man go hurt badly, when he stood up he started running on the rood he nearly go hit by a car. I don't believe the people working there are happy people, they didn't look happy, especially the forighners ones the manger is always talking to them in an agreesive way. A lot of drugs are used in this place as well, I am not sure if that's okay at this place or not because I haven't seen any action been taken against those who used it.
